  • Unaccommodating staff at check-in, bar hours not useful and the
    high-priced snacks.

“A reasonably good 2 star motel. The only good good thing was that we mistakingly boarded shuttle for another Hilton in the area as we had forgotten which we were booked. The shuttle driver was exceptionally helpful and used his phone to find out where we were booked and went out of the way to take us to this Linthicum one. Great guy. The hotel had very limited facilities and somewhat gaudy decor and there was some sort of food smell prevalent I do not know from where it was coming in as I did not see any restaurant.”

  • Competent and knowledgeable front desk staff. Free internet. Refrigerator.
  • Restaurant was too pricey.

“I had an awful time sleeping but I think it was just me as the room temperature was easy to adjust and I have stayed here before with wonderful results. I would stay again and it is my preferred hotel in the area.”

“My family and I came to Baltimore Inner Harbor for a short vacation, and loved the stay at the hotel. The kids loved the room and beds. The breakfast was expensive in the hotel, but there are many other places to eat besides the hotel restaurant. Also, the beds were extremely comfortable. Sheets and comfortable added to how comfortable the bed was.”

  • Hotel was clean and plenty of extras for the money.
  • Don't expect too much from the transportation.

“Hotel was clean and nice. Heater/AC in the room was loud and annoying. Breakfast is not included and is a little pricey. However, there is a restaurant next door. My family and I went into Baltimore to catch an O's game. Instead of driving in we took the light rail to avoid parking fees and traffic. Big mistake. The train ride in was OK. The gentlemen and staff behind the desk tried to explain themselves, but never an apology. It was almost like they insinuated it was my fault. I will never stay there again. Total travel time from the game was about 2 hours.”

  • Very clean, great little gym to work out in.
  • No one would help me with getting an early breakfast.

“The staff would not help me in getting some breakfast. As I had to be at the airport at 0430 am. I had med's that I needed to take. Other hotel has helped me out. And because of that I will not stay at this hotel again. Sorry, a little customer service go's a long way.”

  • Very comfortable beds, great shuttle service.
  • First room A/C not working but they moved us immediately.

“I would highly recommend this hotel, we needed a place close by the airport, we returned our rental car, shuttle came immediately. Next morning we came downstairs for an early flight, shuttle there waiting and ready, had us to the airport in minutes and it was free! Beds were extremely comfortable, room very clean, bathroom spacious. First time staying at this hotel and we would definitely stay there again!”

  • Breakfast was $10 per person, which is quite steep for a family.

“Some of the staff was friendly and helpful while others ignored us completely, even when we were trying to ask them a question. Room was very nice and spacious, which was the best part. Worst part for us as a family was the cost of breakfast and that the pool was only open from 5 pm to 10 pm. Seems more like a business hotel. Nice place, though.”

  • The room smelled bad and was dirty.

“We have stayed at this hotel before and everything was fine. This time we were placed in a smoking room with two full size beds. Not a romantic start for our vacation. The room smelled bad and it was dirty. There were ashed all over the bathroom, a dirty handprint on both sides of the bathroom door, and I found a ponytail holder in the middle of the bedroom floor. This was not a good experience.”

  • Didn't give wake up call. Breakfast not included. Pool hardly open.

“Overall very nice. Clean, restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. However the draw backs were that breakfast is not included in the price of the room and they don't tell you that. It is overpriced for breakfast. I did not receive my wake up call and because the pool is only open for about 4 hours I could not take advantage of it. Not as great of a stay as I would have expected at a Hilton brand.”

  • Night staff couldn't give us directions - lost for over an hour!

“Very friendly staff and beautiful comfortable facility. They had to put us in four rooms with king size beds instead of the two booked due to not having two queens per room. We got in at 2 am, but they let us have the rooms for 12 hr to recover from traveling. We would stay at this hotel regardless in a heartbeat. Night staff isn't knowledgeable on directions - only negative.”

  • They allowed early check in, printed my boarding pass from the desk when the PC connection didn't' work.
  • The pool hours were abbreviated, 5pm? I wanted to use it in the daytime.

“My flight came in about 11A.M., they were very helpful in allowing early check in. When the business center network was not working the woman at the front desk offered to print my boarding pass for me. I appreciated that. I was disappointed that the pool did not open till 5pm, but was also surprised to find a life guard on duty. Have never seen that at a hotel before. The only bad thing I can say is there was some mildew in one corner of the tub caulking. It was not clear to me what the breakfast program was. This was my first stay at a Hilton Garden Inn, but would stay again.”
