- Good location, easy parking, large HDTV, very Quiet.
- No.
“I was going to tour Baltimore and Annapolis with my girl friend. The location is good, 15 minutes to inner harbor of Baltimore and 25 minutes to Annapolis. I stayed for two nights, it's a very quiet place. The room had a very large HDTV, 41" maybe. You can bring your Xbox or Wi-Fi if you like.”

- New A/V equip that was good quality. Bed and bedding was very good.
- Obviously remodeled recently, but little done to shower & W/C portion, and workmanship in this part was marginal.
“Would not be happy if I again got this hotel as a 3-star in the area. Other 3-stars are better. Hyatt is normally a high quality hotel, and I was perhaps expecting too much because I was quite disappointed. This was previously a typical 5-story cookie cutter hotel, and it appears Hyatt purchased recently and remodeled, but it still shows it lower quality roots. Check staff was poor. Stood in front of check-in counter for close to 5-minutes while the attendant accepted four different phone calls before she bothered to simply acknowledge my presence.”

- One of the better hotels in the area for a reasonable price. Great location!
- Noisy at times!
“Overall, happy with the hotel for the price. Breakfast was included, but was unable to take advantage due to it not being served until after 6 a.m. Many other airport hotels understand many customers leave prior to that time and have therefore either a sack lunch or are open earlier. Would be nice to have been able to take advantage of their breakfast, but due to my having to leave before 6 a.m. each morning, had to miss it!”

- Most accommodating since I was on oxygen and even let us check in long before the normal time.
- It did not have a regular restaurant but did offer food.

- Breakfast in morning does not start early enough - 6:30 am too late for some business travelers.
“BWI Hyatt Place a great, convenient hotel for both business and leisure travelers. I really liked the 42-inch HDTV that you could swivel to watch on the sofa or in bed. Ruby Tuesday's right next door also. Good free breakfast in the morning as well. Very nice hotel at a good value.”

- The front desk girls and the one front desk guy.
- Please enlarge the trash can in front of the breakfast room. It gets full very fast and the trash spills out all over the floor at breakfast.
“The staff (extremely overworked) at this hotel are amazing. The only beef I have here is that I think their new computer system is slow and inefficient. I waited 20 minutes to buy something to eat because of the front desk computer. Back to the staff. Everyone from housekeeping, maintenance to front desk couldn't be more professional. It seems everyone is cross-trained here so you may see someone from downstairs in the lobbies sweeping or upstairs working in housekeeping. Can't say enough about them all. Management needs to give them all a big fat raise if they haven't already.”

“This hotel is a new Hyatt Place hotel that used to be an Amerisuites hotel. Hyatt has "cosmetically" re-done the hotel (lobby, fitness center, LCD TVs in the rooms, etc.) but should have done a better job with the remodeling.”

- I was put in a room that was behind the billboard. This made a lot of noise, however, I kept my TV on most of the time and I took a sleeping pill at night.

- Staff was accommodating and friendly. Room renovation was modern and appealing. Big screen TV & good coffee 24 hours nice touch.
- Didn't like housekeeping cart staying in the hallways, their food options were not available yet but their website said they were-nothing to eat!
“The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are modern and the addition of the 42" flat screen & quality bath products is nice touch. I enjoyed having a huge beautiful sofa to lounge on & having a frig w/out requesting one. They had good Starbuck's coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby. Currently, they are still remodeling so there was a lot of chaos in the lobby & they don't yet have food or room service (which I wish I was told ahead of time since the website says otherwise). Two restaurants within walking distance however. I liked having a more modern room instead of the traditional like every other hotel has. The walls seem a little thin at times but not enough to prevent me from sleeping.”

- Pillows were a little flat, had to walk through construction to get to elevator.
“This hotel is now the Hyatt, not Amerisuites. We stayed there during renovations and a lot of the facilities were closed, including the weight room and the restaurant. However, there is a Ruby Tuesday's right next door, so food wasn't a problem. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was very nice! It had a large flat screen TV that swiveled so you can watch TV from the bed or the couches. It had a nice kitchen area with a large desk for working. The room was very clean. The staff was great, they apologized for the mess from the renovations, but as it didn't affect our room, we didn't mind. This hotel has been one of the nicer hotels we have stayed at, and the staff was very helpful.”

“This hotel is undergoing a major renovation as it transforms from an Amerisuites to a Hyatt place. The new rooms are much nicer than the old ones though they have the same old bathrooms and closets. They have HD TV's but no HD TV stations. The restaurant is a ways from completion. This should be a very nice hotel when the renovation is complete. In the meantime I have been getting great rates, probably because of all of the construction.”

- Renovated room was gorgeous, especially the sitting area.
- No water for over 1 hour and no notification to guests.
“Facility is in the process of transitioning to Hyatt place. The renovated rooms are very nice with great decor and electronic connections. The bathrooms are very tight and cramped allowing lots of water on the floor. The staff was not friendly (with the exception of the housekeep who did provide extra towels/floor mats when requested). The bed was not made. There was an hour of no water which coincided with an important appt I needed to attend so I was delayed. There was no notification to guests that the water would be out and it was explained as an emergency (I would argue that there should still be direct communication by telephone to guests to give them the info and anticipated time of repair). When we contacted a manager, he indicated that one night's stay would be compensated but I doubt if that transaction actually happens. This location is under construction which makes noise level high. They begin constructing well before 10am which was the identified time. Construction workers were not pleasant and used the same elevators as those of guests (which is ok but keep the elevator clean and construction works should act like employees at least say hello).”

- Location was convenient for late BWI arrivals.
- The construction is under construction, dusty, noisy, and not up to standards.
“This hotel should be pulled until hotel construction is completed. I was in a room that lacked lamp shades and had a ceiling leak that ruined many of my clothes. I complained twice but it wasn't till the last night that the hotel agreed to move me. I took the assistant manager on a tour of my room and asked if this was a 2 or 3 star room and he admitted it was barely a one star. The construction dust was everywhere and it made for a difficult night.”

- The new rooms were nice a spacious for the business traveler.
- The construction and customer service.
“At this point, it's difficult to rate the hotel because it was in the middle of construction. They are transforming from amerisuites to Hilton suites. They put us in the new rooms. I recently stayed at the Hilton suites at Dulles, so I know what the end product will look like. The new upgraded room I stayed in was great until the drilling started at 8:00. Once the drilling starts and they teach their employees about friendly customer service, it should get all 8s and 9s like the one at Dulles.”

- Decent continental breakfast.
- Extremely noisy and early morning (Saturday and Sunday) construction going on starting at 7 am.
“If it wasn't for the noisy construction, the key card constantly needing to be re programmed and some feelings of uneasiness by people who appeared to be intoxicated wandering the halls at night, the place was ok.”

- Convenient to airport.
- The rooms were not properly stocked and the staff seems unconcerned.
“The hotel was under construction however, the rooms were not properly stocked with tissues, glasses, paper & pens, phone directory, etc. And the staff seemed unconcerned about this. We did eventually get the things we required but after several request to staff. The rooms were smaller than anticipated. Over all, this was not the luxury suite we anticipated.”

- Free breakfast and free wireless internet; friendly staff.
- Undergoing construction/ transformation to be a Hyatt place; beds uncomfortable.
“The hotel is undergoing construction/transformation to become a Hyatt place. It should be very nice once completed. I was given one of the Amerisuites tcb suites. Very spacious. A little dust on the desk. Bed was ok. As I was leaving the next morning, there were mattresses in the hallway and being brought out to a truck in the parking lot. I must have been the last person to sleep on my mattress. What an honor. It should be a very nice hotel once renovations are complete. Staff at check in/out was very friendly. Construction staff that was on all my elevator rides was very colorful and friendly as well.”

- Good to have ruby Tuesday next door for meal options.
- No DVD player.

- Loved the suites concept, valued the free Internet service.
- Some construction.
“This airport hotel is much better than most and delivers on the comfort level of a suite, convenience level of the breakfast and shuttle to the airport, and friendly service.”

- The room was huge.
- It only had one trashcan in the entire room.
“Average hotel for a decent price. Would I go out of my way to stay here again? No. But it was good for what I needed on this trip.”

“Room was clean and well maintained. Ruby Tuesday restaurant in parking lot is a plus. Overall, this hotel seemed to be well managed. Great staff.”

- The full cooked breakfast buffet every day; also the computer access desk in the lobby.
- The Saturday morning breakfast was a shambles; most things had run out by 9:30 and the hostess on duty was surly.
“Excellent value and comfort; we hope we get this one next time we have to stay in Baltimore.”
