- The shuttle did not meet me at the airport as they had promised on the phone and didn't manage to find me. Had to get a cab.

- It was close to other hotels where there were good meetings for other events.
- Plenty of rooms available on the first floor and they threw a lot of people on the third (top most floor) for no apparent reason.

- The hotel was very nice and clean. Comfortable beds.
- One of the hotel staff was a little rude to our group.
“The location was excellent; our business meeting took place at a hotel on the harbor. I noticed right away how clean and nice it was. We loved the gas fireplace. The rooms were large and the beds very, very comfortable. ”

- No breakfast included. They did have coffee.
“Very nice rooms, in a well-refurbished hotel. Convenient airport shuttle. No free breakfast, but there was coffee in the lobby - important for us 5 am airport folks. My daughter enjoyed the pool/hot tub. Internet access is free, but not wireless in the rooms. Overall - great!”

- Best bed I ever slept in. The manager, Dana, was the most helpful hotel staff we ever encountered.
- No complaints.
“Will and already have recommended this hotel to others. Ten family members flew in for a family gathering. Fourteen of us stayed at the hotel one night. Eight more joined us for breakfast. So a total of 22 gathered together before we all went in different directions. The manager, Dana, handled this influx with ease, humor and helpfulness, seating us all for breakfast and even helping manage the four small children. It was a completely fun experience in a well-run hotel.”

- The room was comfortable and the decor was appealing; room was very clean.
- The heater and fan was not working. The heater cool/hot dial did not work. It was either too hot or too cold. We went here to swim.
“Front house personnel were helpful. Waitress did not know they use sugar-free syrup when ask; had to ask manager about it then got the sugar free syrup. Breakfast buffet was good and the omelets very good and tasteful. Our family has stayed in about 20 Marriott/courtyard since 2004 so we have an ideal what kind of hotel we are staying at. Not impressed with the swimming pool; looked abandoned and not clean. One our main reasons we stay at hotels is to go swimming indoors in a clean attractive pool. The pool did not open until 5p.m. Never had that experience. We never got to go swimming in their pool.”

- Room is not clean. Bed sheets were not changed after last customer.
“First impression was good. When it comes the time to go to bed, I found that the bed sheets haven't been changed. Someone else's body hairs and food crumble (maybe some other dirt) are all over. My stay was only one night and when I found this out it was already late night, my luggage was opened with my things out already. So I didn't bother to call front desk requesting a room change. That feeling was awful. I am not sure if it's the house keepers' carelessness or that hotel's designated room.”

- Shuttle van driver was rude.
“The hotel itself was adequate, however we had a problem with the van service. Marriott operates one van, which does a continuous loop between BWI and all of the nearby Marriott properties (Courtyard, Fairfield, Marriott, etc.). We were picked up at Courtyard. When he reached the Marriott Hotel stop, we saw another van just pulling out with people on board. Our driver stopped anyway, got up and went inside - without saying anything to any of us. We proceeded to wait in the van for 10 minutes. I finally went inside and found him standing in the lobby. I asked what was going on, and he said that he needed to keep his schedule. I informed him about our schedule, but he didn't budge. I went back to the van, and he finally came out a few minutes later. Very poor service.”

- Very comfortable, well maintained, great shuttle service and parking for airport.
- Front desk clerk was too busy with personal arrangements on phone to give us full attention.
“Overall this hotel was great for what we needed. We were flying out of BWI early the next morning. Hotel parking was $60 for two weeks as opposed to $120 at airport. Shuttle service was quick. With the exception of the front desk clerk who was to busy planning his own travel to get off the phone and help us the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful”

“Upon check in we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor next to very noisy mechanical room. Also the door was open and I was a bit afraid to go in. It was noisy in the room so I went downstairs to change rooms and that he would have to check if he could reassign me to another room. Eventually he did, reluctantly. The new room as very quite. I expect a "standard room" not a substandard room .”

- Room had an odor. Staff not helpful.
“This hotel was value-priced for shuttle service to BWI. However, the staff at the front desk was less than helpful. I had not used the shuttle service before an needed to find out if I needed to sign up, how early the shuttle service started, if there was a specific place I needed to park my vehicle and how to arrange for return shuttle when I returned from my trip. I was treated as if these were stupid questions and they even neglected to tell me that there was a courtesy phone at the airport that I could use to call the hotel.”

- We the beautiful courtyard by the pool.
- There was nothing in the area to do without a car.

“This was a getaway for me and my wife. We wanted a night to rest and relax. The fire alarm of the entire complex went off at 3:30-4am for 1/2, until the fire dept came to turn it off. This pretty much ruined our rest. There was no apology given, no offer of compensation of any sort. As if it never happened. Disappointing!”

- The Sunday breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. I had thought there would be a lot more variety, however the food was of good quality.

“This was my second stay at this property and on this stay which was less than two months from my last stay. The small problems I experienced where all corrected and this stay was great and I would stay at this location anytime I'm in the area.”

- Quiet location, clean, everything worked.
“The hotel was great. On arrival was told we were "bumped" and got 1 king and 1 sofa bed Per the hotel, said that agreement was for room rate only, not type. Also had to get new room cards twice, because didn't work. Missing towels, coffee maker not cleaned, waste basket not emptied.”

- Location from the Airport.
- Personal item missing out of my room. (My perfume).
“Overall, I had good stay. My $74.00 perfume was missing from my room. I called the Hotel staff and they are professional and are helping me resolve the matter. I would recommend the Hotel to other travelers”

- Clean, quiet and comfortable, recently updated rooms.
- Gobs of toothpaste stuck to bathroom wall.
“Marriott Courtyards are predictable--all laid out the same, good security. Generally well cared for. Beds are comfortable, air/heat controls work well and there is minimal noise from halls and other rooms.”
