- Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- The pool should open earlier in the day.
“The room was clean. The indoor pool could have better hours (5 -10 pm). Breakfast was substantial (eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee, juice, etc). The staff was outstanding and very accommodating, considering our last minute arrangements. The hotel was close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away from the highway to be quiet! Parking was close, convenient and well lit. I felt safe and was very pleased with our stay at this hotel.”

- The decor was nice and the bathroom was spacious.
- The location to the linen drop, and the noise from the refrigerator.

- The bed was comfortable.
- We were disappointed. See below.
“The staff was friendly and parking was good. The bed was comfortable. The room needed a really good cleaning. The coffeemaker was coated with dust on top I had to clean it before use. The bathroom was out of Kleenex, toiletries looked to be sparse. The cafe area consisted of the barest breakfast essentials that were not even good. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express and they offered eggs, biscuits, bacon, or sausage, juice, coffee, cereal, milk, fresh fruit and rolls we were very impressed free. That was in a small town of Pontiac Illinois. We stayed at La Quinta Inns in San Antonio Texas a few years ago and enjoyed the experience thats why we were disappointed in yours. It just seemed equipped barely with the barest necessities. We stayed at Motel 8 on Tuesday July 29th and were surprised at how much we enjoyed it.”

- Staff was very helpful. Continental breakfast was way above average. The free shuttle to the airport/train station was convenient and pleasant.
- I may have had a hard time finding it had I been driving. There are a number of hotels in the immediate area & I couldn't figure out where I was.
“Very good service, very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and quiet and beds were comfortable. Seemed a bit pricey at first, but the above average breakfast and shuttle service made up that difference (I'm not certain what the going rate is for the area either). Airline lost our luggage, but it was delivered there in the middle of the night, staff locked it away and it was waiting for us in the morning. Was also pretty busy in the morning, but our needs were met.”

- The closeness to BWI.
- There were dead cockroaches on the floor.

- Map/directions on website difficult to follow.
“Quite adequate economy business hotel with free high-speed wireless internet, a good continental breakfast buffet (cereal, toast & bagels, Belgian waffles, fruit, coffee & juices) and friendly staff. Convenient to the airport once I figured out the map and directions on the hotel website were useless for directions and followed the posted blue signs to "hotel district" instead. (Directions from other places look fine).”

“This tired la quintal is in the process or redecorating after having been a Fairfield inn. It is just adequate but not a place I would choose to stay. No indoor pool or exercise facility. Outdoor pool not opens yet. There are many much nicer facilities in the area. It is definitely over priced.”

“The hotel was fine. Nice accommodations and convenient. The front desk staff was slightly disorganized and the morning staff person was less than professional- discussing other staff member's performances while customers were at the desk. The drivers to and from the airport were friendly and very helpful. I was pleased with their service.”

“We appreciated the shuttle service to and from BWI and the professionalism of the staff. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The front desk staff was helpful and able to answer any questions. The complimentary early breakfast was fresh and convenient. Confirmation e-mail was expedient. All went well and we expect to use it on our next trip.”

- Hotel staff was not very friendly and sometimes down right rude.
“Overall my stay at Fairfield BWI Airport Hotel was a good experience. The room was nice-from the decor to the soft down feather pillows to the comfortable bed and many cable options, it was a good safe place to stay for the night. The continental breakfast had quite a few options from waffles and muffins to apple juice and coffee, all great choices and all-you-can-eat. The hotel staff, particularly the night front desk person and the breakfast staff, were not very helpful nor friendly. I had to ask many questions myself to find out about the hotel because they were not offered. Simple questions seemed like hassles and a waste of time to them by their reactions and body language. The hotel definitely needs a little help in this department.”

- The free continental breakfast was nice.
- Staff seemed less than interested in a problem I brought to their attention.
“This hotel was clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was a nice touch. The housekeeping staff was topnotch. However, if you're traveling with children, they might be disappointed by the lack of kids' channels on the hotel cable system (no Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon). They did have the Disney channel, but it was not working during our stay (no picture, just sound). When I brought it to the attention of the staff, my concern was dismissed and no one even bothered to see if the problem was just in my room or a hotel-wide problem. I was basically told to "deal with it."”
