• Great room.
• The front desk clerk had some jokes.

“Pretty good overall, few unkept promises. The front desk clerk joked that there were no rooms available and that the bathroom needed repairs that weren't going to happen that evening (it was already 10 pm). I was told I would have a bagged breakfast in the morning waiting for me when I left for the airport at 5 but that didn't happen. Overall good hotel.”

• Nothing! I would come back to this hotel again!

• Very convenient to the BWI Airport.
• Too far away from attractions in downtown Baltimore.

“This is another solid hotel in the Hampton chain. Great bed, convenient grab and go breakfast. The carpet in our hotel room is looking a little dated, but we were not there for the carpet.”

• All linens washable & immaculate good breakfast included.
• Didn't know how to get shuttle to come to airport--should have been told.

“Very attractive, welcoming place with relaxed ambience. Friendly, efficient staff always available. Room was well appointed and immaculate--my favorite thing was that the whole bed, including comforter cover was washable and fresh--no dinghy heavy spreads and drapes! Complimentary breakfast had eggs and real fresh fruit as well as the expected items. I'd try Hampton Inns other places and certainly recommend this one.”

• The personnel were outstanding.
• The room had a dusty odor.

“I particularly appreciated the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. They were patient and considerate, staying on the phone with me several minutes to help me find the hotel (during a night time torrential rainstorm). They were welcoming upon my arrival, and were genuinely glad I had arrived safely.”

• Wonderfully decorated extremely comfortable friendly staff.
• Cable did not work for two channels.

“Hampton Inn has now become my 'go-to' hotel chain while traveling on business and short trips. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Free wireless was very convenient. They thought of everything to make my stay as efficient and pleasant as possible. Highly recommended for the price.”

• The hotel's complimentary breakfast was excellent!
• The room doors were not very well insulated; you could hear people moving about in the hallways.

“I was very pleased with the overall hotel experience. The rooms were very clean and the bed was wonderful! It was so comfortable; I missed it when we got back home! The complimentary breakfast was the best I have ever seen. They had an assortment of hot English muffins with eggs and Canadian bacon, bagels, Danishes, fruit, dry cereal, oatmeal, yogurt - basically everything for everyone! The shuttle service to the train station was very convenient and the train dropped us right in the inner harbor. I have already booked this hotel for our next trip up to Baltimore for a Yankees game in September.”

• Basic, clean, and comfortable. The price was reasonable too.
• I had to go to another floor looking for ice because some of the ice machines were empty. The TV mysteriously turned on in the middle of the night.

“It was within driving distance of Inner Harbor, Baltimore and was easy to find. The rates were reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very basic but it was clean and comfortable. The include breakfast was better than continental breakfast but not quite a breakfast buffet. Checkout was easy. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.”

“We arrived prior to 6 am. Our check-in time was 2 pm. We were exhausted from driving most of the night and needed rest desperately. When I told the desk person of our situation, he promptly issued us a room at that time with no additional charge. I would definitely stay in this hotel chain again!”

• Clean quite close to airport.
• Had to wait 30 min. For the free shuttle.

“Because I had to wait for the shuttle they upgraded my room. It was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The free buffet breakfast was delicious.”

• We have nothing negative to report.

“We arrived two hours before check-in time, and since we had a commitment in harbor place, we requested a room earlier, if possible. The young lady at the desk went out of her way to accommodate our request. We will always try to stay at this hotel for our Baltimore visits. The breakfast buffet was excellent.”

• I liked all the hotel staff. Everyone was polite, cooperative, and assisted me so as to meet my needs.
• I wish there was a restaurant in or next to the hotel. That's not a real complaint.

“I found the hotel clean, cheerful, comfortable, and everything I would want, especially on a snowy, icy night when I thought it unsafe to drive 25 miles to my home from the airport. I would stay at this hotel any time and have recommended it to my family and friends. The room and especially the bathroom are "senior/elder friendly," and the price is wonderful considering hotels in general. 4 months ago, I stayed at a highly overpriced, supposedly "luxury-class" hotel in midtown Manhattan; I¿ve had better, more comfortable accommodations at a ten-unit inexpensive "mom-and-pop" motel in upstate new york. By comparison, the Hampton inn puts the flatten to shame; the NY "snooty" lodging should send staff, hotel managers, and decorators to the Hampton inn to learn how to really cater to guests, paying or otherwise. I will surely stay at any Hampton inn based upon my very positive experience at the inn near bwi.”

• The large comfortable bed and the room decor.
• I did not like the sofa bed and the fact that hotel billed me when my bill was already paid.

“The bed was very comfortable and the decor in the bathroom was exquisite. The staff was very polite and professional. I would be staying at the Hampton Inn again and again.”

• The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful.
• Late arrivals were very noisy kids/teens, however, that is NOT the hotel's fault.

“Hotel was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Offered complimentary items such as shampoo, shaving creme that I had forgotten whereas other hotels had charged for them. Offered free high speed internet, free breakfast. Hotel offered a very peaceful and calm setting. I really enjoyed it here. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed at!!”
