• Large bed.
• Staff.

“Night auditor was hanging out with friends in computer/internet lobby and outside. Another traveler opened our door at 1:45 am with their room key. Found out the room was double booked. At 2:05 am the auditor called our room to let us know the tenant had not checked out and we were in their room. Breakfast was delicious, however.”

• The hotel staff - so friendly I couldn't believe it! They were excellent!
• This hotel met all of my expectations and there was nothing that I didn't like.

“This was a great hotel for the price. It was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and warm. The area was nice with close shopping and attractions. We really enjoyed our stay.”

• Central location. Easy access. Provides all that is necessary for on the go vacation at a decent price.
• The hallway had a strange smell, although the rooms were ok.

“Good room with a free breakfast for a good price. Also had indoor pool. No extra frills are included for this price, but we came to see the area attractions not to spend our day at the hotel.”

• Nice continental breakfast.
• No bathtubs. I am disabled and the shower was difficult for me.

“I am a moderately disabled person but I never need a handicapped room. We were disappointed to discover there was no bathtub. The shower was very difficult for me.”

• Close to restaurants, attractions, shopping, pool and internet.
• Stained mattresses, room lighting, small shower.

“The room was dirty, shower small, bathroom door lock was broken, mattress, sheets and box spring were stained, breakfast ended exactly at 9:30 and was cleared away at 9:31, people were friendly and helpful, pool was nice, free internet worked well.”

• Comfy beds and spacious walk-in shower. Great staff! Lovely continental breakfast!
• Nothing, enjoyed it all.

“I traveled with my elderly parents (88 & 82 yrs. old) and the staff was most friendly and accommodating to their situation by assigning us a room near the lobby for ease in walking. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. A large variety of food. Shower was spacious and ease of use by my parents. A long trip (whew!) but this hotel made traveling easier. My parents rested well. Thanks!”

• Priced right and the kids enjoyed the pool.
• Pillows/bed were not comfortable. Hard to open door to bathroom because handle/latch broken.

“It is ok for the price. It is right next to two good family-friendly restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the (free continental breakfast) waffles for breakfast were great.”

• Small bathroom.

“The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast a typical continental one. The bathrooms however were quite small and the sink and mirror were located outside the bathroom.”

• Most Gym equip. was not in working order.

• Regardless of recent renovations, hotel is dated.

“We were quite disappointed. Room not ready at 4:30 arrival. Staff quickly made up room but it looked and felt half done afterwards. Room was dirty & cramped with odd pieces of furniture. The worse bed we have slept on in twenty plus years of traveling. Noise level from hall and between floors was incredibly loud - we knew every time when occupants above us used the bathroom because we could hear them.”

• Great location for vacation. Nice local attractions.
• The air conditioner was leaking water all over the rug getting the floor soaked.

“The hotel was pretty good except a stain on the bed covers the first night & the air conditioner that leaked water all over the rug when you had it running getting anything near it wet. Oh there is also a construction crew removing trees out back of the hotel which will wake you up at about 7 AM so if your are on vacation don't plan on sleeping in. But other than that it was really not bad even though it sounds it.”

• Bathroom was dirty, room needed updating, shower leaked.

• I liked the walk-in shower. It was roomy enough for two!
• The heat inside the pool area was too high. The entire pool felt like a sauna!

“The location of this hotel was great if you are visiting Bucsh Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg. Department stores were nearby also if you need to buy something for your trip. The most surprising thing though was how some of the staff carried on. I saw one of the clerks using the hotel computer that was for the guests to use in the lobby. Another clerk was out in front of the hotel, draining coolers out of her vehicle clearly wearing a Uniform shirt and going inside behind the counter at times. And the most shocking of all was seeing a gentleman on staff washing the car that belonged to one of the front clerks who went out and told him he was doing a great job!”

• Thin walls, notice of neighbors through suite door.

“Nice and convenient place to stay, very well kept and definitely a place I'd return. However, the door that separates you from the other room is not very sound proof, as the neighbors TV blasted most of the night (while neighbor had fallen asleep.”

• Hot, no A/C, they gave us a fan.

“It was ok but we needed A/C. It was miserable. They could not move us so they gave us a fan. No fridge or microwave like we thought. I feel we should get some compensation for the heat. For I expected to be comfortable. I am trying to figure out how to contact the hotel.”

• Needed a little more space in the room, some of the exercise equipment didn't work. Too stuffy in Heated pool area.

• The only negative thing was the fluorescent lighting in the rooms was annoying.

• We liked the breakfast offered. We also liked the nearness of restaurants.
• Unfortunately, we had to take a smoking room, as all others were taken.

“This was a good choice for us, as we needed to use public transportation to get around Williamsburg, and this hotel was close to the bus line and the train station.”

• Huge walk in shower, great continental breakfast with fresh waffles.
• Brass around shower door had black (mold?) Marks, carpet felt damp, mattresses weren't the most comfortable.

• It was conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. Only a hop, skip and a jump from Busch Gardens.
• The lighting switch above the bed didn't work.

“This hotel was fine. Clean and affordable. I didn't like the sliding "pocket" door for the bathroom. It didn't work well so you could not close it all the way.”

• Overhead fluorescent lighting over beds; no bedside lamps or tables.

“This hotel was ok, but the overhead fluorescent lighting over the beds instead of tables and lamps was off-putting. Also, the sliding door between the toilet and shower (together) and the sink (outside) was weird.”
