• Location was good.
• It stunk like mildew.

“I got a room with a jacuzzi and it was filthy. The water pressure on the shower was so low couldn't rinse yourself off. The smell in the room was like it was mildew or mold and I thought it might be the air conditioner and took out the filters and I don't think they have ever been cleaned. Been better off getting an economy hotel.”

• The staff was very friendly. The breakfast served was excellent, everything from toast to eggs and sausage. Very clean.
• I pretty much liked everything.

“Everyone on the staff was very friendly. The breakfast served was free, if I had to take everyone out to breakfast it would have cost 25-30 easy every morning. Location is great for all events surrounding Williamsburg. I would recommend this hotel to others.”

• Friendly, looked elegant.
• No outside pool.

“The hotel lobby was impressive, staff friendly and helpful, the only disappointment was no outside pool, didn't like the indoor pool smell too much, you can smell it as soon as you walk into the lobby, outdoor pool would have been better.”

• Housekeeping was too early - 9AM or earlier three days in a row!

“The hotel was great. Only thing we had a problem was that housekeeping came at 9:00 or earlier three days in a row - we were barely awake!”

• Family friendly suites. Enough space for 5 people (2 adults, 3 children).
• Pool was a little chilly.

“Overall, good experience. Enjoyed the public areas. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Thankful for the ability to consume some meals in our own room.”

• Very nice hotel with an excellent continental breakfast.
• Did not care for the pillows, they make you hot.

“This is a great hotel for the money with a very courteous staff from the front desk to the maid service. It was very clean and well kept.”

• Roomy suites.
• Free breakfast is always good - but it was not a very big selection.

“We had a suite and it was the roomiest suite we ever had. For a family of 5, a normal hotel room is not big enough and usually suites are very small rooms. This hotel suite gave us plenty of space!”

• I liked the comfortable beds and pillows and the great breakfast in the mornings.
• The beds were double size instead of queen.

“This Hampton was quite comfortable and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was clean and comfortable and the little things like the free wifi, lap desk, and laundry facility made it feel like home away from home.”

• Breakfast was better than expected, and room was clean.
• Swimming pool was slightly cool, had a mix-up with keys.
