• The location.
• Security.

“The hotel was about what we expected for the economy price. Our room was a little banged up and in need of some work. It was a no-frill / thrills room to stay, which met our needs. They could take a little time to vacuum around the room edges, would help a lot. I wouldn't want to vacation there, but for the one-night we stayed, it was convenient and quiet. Mattress were comfortable enough.”

• I was not held hostage and did not get sick, yet.
• This hotel stinks to badly even from the parking lot. I will report it to the health department .

“This hotel stinks so badly that you can smell it down the block if you are down wind. The room was so bad that I was afraid to touch anything. I left immediately and found another hotel that did not stink. I will be reporting this hotel to the local health department and will be disputing the credit card charge for this rental. If I get sick from spending the 10 minutes in the hotel, I will hire a lawyer to sure the owner. Worst that you or I could ever imagine! I don't know anyone who parks a car in a place that is as bad as this hotel.”

“When I first arrived at the front desk to check in, the gentleman (the father) was on his cell phone. He looked at me and continued with his personal phone call, he kept walking back and forth. I stood there after driving in from the airport. I stood there for five minutes until he went into the backroom. Then his son walked out and checked me in. It seemed his (father) personal phone call was more important then checking me in. When I got to the room, the shower dripped and at night I had to close the door so I didnt hear it. The shower curtain had mildew on the bottom and underneath the shower dial there was mold. I had a non-smoking room, but later realized that the smell of smoke was filtering from the vent in the bathroom from the room above. Then to top it off the ceilings must be paper thin, because I could hear the person in the room above me walking sounded like a an elephant. There were cigarette burn marks on the tables. The heater was loud. The fridge was never turned on I had to turn it on so it would get cold. The vending machines didnt work. The ice machine only worked on the 3rd floor. They never told me how to get to my room; I had to figure that out myself. My last night there, when I woke up, I had two bug bites on my leg. I will never stay there again. The coffee machine had a spout that you could get hot water from it and it looked like it hadnt been cleaned at all.”

• The carpets look like they haven't been shampooed on cleaned in years and the mattress was the worst.

• Location is right next door to Laugermans Harley and right on 30.
• The hotel was kind of what you would expect in the 70's.

“I have stayed in this hotel before but this time the room was not really cleaned. The toilet wouldn't stop running and there were several burned out bulbs in the room.”

• It was close to our business meeting location.
• Our first encounter with the room gave a poor light on the entire stay.

“The bed in the very first room we were given was atrocious! There appeared to be a big dip in the middle and both the head and the foot of the bed were raised. In plain words unbelievable!”

• The "free breakfast" consisted of pre packaged Danish.

• Having the refrigerator and microwave!
• They don't offer a King size bed.

“The accommodations were an outstanding value. The room was quiet despite being in a busy traffic intersection of York PA.”

• Room wasn't clean. Floor soaking wet. In need of major repairs.

• Firm bed.
• Employees did not speak clear English.

“It took 30 minutes to check in. I ordered a queen bed and received a double. It was all they had available. Breakfast was disappointing, there was no coffee and tables were dirty.”

• Breakfast, location, allowed pets, quite, relaxing.
• The 2 folks in our party were diabetic, all breakfast items very sugar high, water temperature just lukewarm, could have been hotter.

“Location convenient clean for rating friendly staff nice layout offers breakfast while other same rating hotels do not. Would stay there again.”

• The price range was better then some of the other hotels around.
• This hotel is right on the highway, so it made sleeping a little hard.

“Disregarding the fact that it is too close to the highway our overall experience wasn't bad. Although our TV did not have HBO like it was suppose to, it wasn't really important because there nothing really good on HBO anyway. All of the staff was very friendly and nice.”

• They tricked you into paying a different rate, not friendly.

“The clerk checks you in and tells you verbally that you have one rate and then has you sign a paper to get your key with a different rate. When you get your receipt and question, the rate they say you signed the paper? They did this to me and a few other people that were checking out when I did. They were rude and smug. I will not go back to that hotel.”

• The shower was good.
• The room I stayed in, smell, the carpet dirty and there was a roach Saturday night. The lamp buttons were almost broken off.

• Lack of security locks on outside doors.

“For the most part we had a good experience at this hotel, except that the rooms were not daily cleaned. The management took care of that situation.”

“For 3 days the hallways and lobby were over 100 degrees in July. Carpet in room had bad odor and really needed a good shampooing. The room was generally clean although the bed linens had a worn appearance and not crisp. It was close to where i needed to go.”

• Had to take our grandson to Hershey medical center and this motel was right down the road from his house.
• The bed was very hard.

• The staff was helpful.
• Did not feel safe in the halls, rumors of drug parties.

“The bathroom had used soap and shampoo left in shower. I did not feel safe, traveling with children in the motel hallways or parking lot area.”
