• Remind me of a 4 star hotel,scaled down.
• Breakfast closes WAY TO Early! (9am).

• The out side of hotel looked nice.

• Good location.
• Not very clean, night staff not helpful.

“This hotel needs to step up with the cleaning. Tables and TV were very dusty. I had to clean the coffee pot before use. There were no hangers in the rooms. The cups they left the 2nd day were not wrapped in plastic. The soda machine took $1.50 from me and I received no product. The night time person at the desk was of no help, he had no clue what to do. The sheets on the bed seemed to be very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had a micro-fridge which was nice to have, even though the turn table in the microwave didn't work.”

• No response from manager after my complaint, had to ask again to change room.

• The staff need to be more friendly.

“Overall, this hotel is not bad at all. It does worth the money spent. However, the employee need to be train to be more friendly to the customers ( not all, employee who in charge the breakfast rush is such an angel).”

• It had a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
• The housekeeping staff was not good.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable with decent amenities. However the housekeeping staff was not up to expectations. We stayed 3 nights and the first day towels were given, beds were made and garbage picked up. After that we were not given any new towels, tissues were left empty, garbage pails left full. Only the beds had been made. We had to have the front desk deliver tissues and toilet paper to the room.”

• It was easy to get to where we were going.
• There was a slight odor in the room.

“This hotel met our needs. The only thing we did not like was that there was a small odor in the room. Our pillows smelled after we checked out.”

• Close to Hershey/restaurants/downtown.
• No pool, short breakfast hours, beds were not comfy.

“Nice and clean for an overnight after Hershey. I wouldn't suggest it if you are going to spend a lot of time at your hotel. Did have coffee maker, shampoo, nice towels.”

• The hotel room was dirty. The breakfast ended too early and was too crowded. Also, there wasn't a pool.

• Run down, not especially clean, asked for a non smoking room and had a smoking room.

“This facility is not a 2 stars. Its overall appearance and condition puts it in the same league as a Super 8 or Motel 6. Maybe it is expecting too much for the room carpeting to have been replaced during this century, but I don't think replacing it during the last century would be asking too much. This is not what I expect.”

• Room was clean but stained. Boring location. Nothing to do. Breakfast was limited.

“This is fine for business but otherwise it is boring. There was no fitness center. No pool. Breakfast a little below average. Room clean but it had cigarette burn marks on the counter, stains on rugs, etc. One ice machine on second floor. For the price and a quick 2 night stay it was fine. Nothing to brag about. Staff was very friendly.”

• The continental breakfast was always restocked. The lady was constantly cleaning and courteous.
• Bath had scum in tub and hair. Floor had hair in corners, maid didn't clean bath during our stay, I had to. And she didn't restock our coffee supplies.

“Dirty, supervisors yelling in hall at employees, ran out of face clothes! we had 1 for 3 people and they said all they could do was give us hand towels but 1st thing the next morning the maid had them on her cart. Convenient location but no pool. And did I mention they could use some bleach! This consumer is not happy at all.”

• The maid did not change bed sheets when room was cleaned.

“The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was nice, helpful and friendly. The room was nice and large. Room only had a shower which was ok with us. The only disappointment was that the maid didn't change the sheets, so we called the front and had new sheets delivered. The rest of the room was clean, so we did not switch. I would stay here again, but would check the sheets prior to getting the family settled and ready for bed in case the need to change rooms was necessary.”

“Even though it appeared to have been recently cleaned, everything felt dirty about this hotel. I also was concerned about desk staff. When I asked for a replacement key, they did not even ask for my name, much less my ID (and it was a staff member I had not met before).”

• Clean, conveniently located, excellent breakfast and exceptional staff.
• Only problem with room was there was never a bag in wastebasket; put trash in anyway. It was taken out.

“Came for vacation and stayed 5 nights. When I checked in the desk clerk even had extra towels and washcloths waiting for me. She was so friendly and helpful, it was wonderful. The breakfast bar was great, with fresh fruit and two waffle irons that you could use, besides the typical cereal and Danish you see. The rooms were clean, and non smoking was non smoking.”

• The great sized room even with a king size bed. The breakfast was also great. It saved us money that we were able to have more fun at Hershey Park!
• Nothing at all. Highly recommend. Super nice staff and very helpful!

“I would definitely suggest this to anyone. The LaQuinta we stayed in was super clean, had an extremely friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast with fresh hot waffles in the morning was a refreshing change from the normal stale pastries of other complimentary breakfasts of the past. We will be going back next month and staying at the same place. There is something to be said when you are greeted like family as you walk into the hotel every time. Thanks LaQuinta for a wonderful experience!”

“I was very pleased with the hotel. It was clean, and in an excellent location. Bowling just across the street and near to plenty of shopping and restaurants. Hotel staff was polite. We asked for a king size bed and were given it at no extra charge.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shower water pressure was good.
• One word - dirty.

“Even for a 2 star hotel, this one was not acceptable. My husband happened to pull the covers back on one of the two beds and found that the sheets had not been changed. The bed had obviously been slept in recently and there were hairs in the bottom sheet. We needed two rooms and the other room we were given was fine, but the room on the other side of it which the staff was willing to let us move to was also poorly cleaned and looked like the sheets had not been changed. The front desk clerk was very apologetic and gave us a set of sheets and we were able to change the bedding ourselves. The water pressure in the shower was good.”

• The location was the only good thing.
• The furniture was stained and the pillows were misshapen and worn. Not a good impression.

“This hotel was horrible except for location. It looked and felt dirty and worn. The tub floor was dirty looking and the sink bowl was cracked in half. The chairs had stain all over them and the carpet looked dirty. I was expecting a little better. This was shabby and honestly I was hoping I would get the chance to tell you.”

• The front desk staff as well as the breakfast staff were wonderful.
• The bed was very uncomfortable. I tossed and turned all night and had a backache the next day.

“The hotel itself was well maintained with a very friendly staff. However, I had a pretty bad backache the next day from the bed I slept on. Even though I enjoyed the rest of my stay, I would reconsider staying again for this reason alone.”
