• For the price it was a room!
• The hotel smelled really bad. The rooms were not very clean. Needs a renovation!

• Peaceful, quiet, convenient parking, friendly staff.
• Antiquated bathroom fixtures, difficult to operate faucets and shower taps. Toilet too prone to stoppage.

“Rooms dull and not very attractive, room lighting dull and inadequate, insufficient insulation from other guest room and bathroom noise. Room temperature too difficult to regulate between extremes of hot and cold.”

• The reception desk employees were great. Very friendly and outgoing.
• We needed more pillows and it took over an hour to get them. Once they came they were horrible.

“The hotel was hard to find and not close to much. We had to drive quite a distance to get to a grocery store. The staff was friendly, but there was mold on the ceiling, holes in the lamp shades, and three light bulbs out. Also, several of the other rooms with a balcony had chairs on them, but when we asked for two chairs, it took a maintenance man over an hour to come to our room and tell us that we couldn't get any. The hotel was not full. In fact the room next to us was empty the entire time we were there and there were chairs on their balcony. Not an overall wonderful experience.”

• Hotel was disgusting! Couldn't even stay there, left and went to a different hotel.

“This hotel was horrible. The rooms were dirty. Only one light switch turned on everything, including microwave, light, TV and the fridge. The rooms were connected, we could here the man next to us coughing and his TV. We are smokers and really don't mind the smell of cigarette smoke but you would need a gas mask to get though the hallway. The man at the desk was rude, and told us we would not get any of our money back. I will never go there again!”

• When we arrived at 1:00am the staff on duty did not say a single word as we checked in.

“The hotel was very small and cramped. The staff was unfriendly at best, save one woman who ran the front desk one night. The rooms were excruciatingly hot and the continental breakfast was almost non-existent. Signs explaining check-in/check-out were simply taped to the wall. The room keys rarely functioned properly, and quite frankly it was the worse experience I've had in a hotel in a very long time.”

• Would not give 2 beds for double room.

“This hotel would only give us a king size even though we had 3 children under the age of 8. To get 2 double beds they required an additional $20.00.”

• Very close to Hershey Park, but not in the crazy zone and only 2 turns away.
• Security cameras weren't functioning and the deadbolt on the door came off in your hands.

“Not a lot of extras, but clean and functional. Continental Breakfast included hot items as well. Staff was friendly and for the most part helpful. Great access to Hershey Park, only two turns and four miles, with great prices as well. Right off the freeway exit, very convenient. Wouldn't mind staying there again.”

“The room smelled. The staff was very unaccommodating. I was charged extra for another bed. Original room only had one bed. For the price paid, I could have stayed in a much nicer hotel. Not happy with the experience overall. Staff did not go the extra mile to satisfy me.”

• Provided good free internet/television service and good facilities for simple means.
• It was not kept as clean as I expected based on the ratings and poor help/service.

“It was decent looking but I did notice it had bad appeal from first sight due to the odd location squeezed between a gas station and a large truck stop area. The grounds were nice but not well maintained and needed cleaning. Inside was decent looking but it was not as clean as I expected and I found ants in my room. The help did not seem to enjoy their experience there or the time they spent in this country based on my brief conversations with the staff. Additionally, it did offer a nice continental breakfast but unfortunately all of the trash cans were overflowing.”

• Room price less than your listed price.
• Shower only in bathroom.

“Room was nice, clean; located near interstate; driveway entrance to hotel to close to exit ramp, had to go past and turn around; could only make right turn out of driveway, had to u-turn or go in direction we wanted to go; continental breakfast was till 9:00am. Desk clerk had cleared the breakfast items before 8:45am. Ate breakfast at buffet (truck stop).”

“This hotel was ok. The breakfast was ok but the room was too small and there weren't any tables left. We had to take the breakfast back to the room. Overall not a bad place to stay, but I wanted to be somewhere else.”

• It was okay however for 99 dollars I have stayed and finer hotels.
• It was kind of like a motel. Was not that bad but expected a little ore.

“The staff was nice and very helpful. I thought that for $99 I could have gotten a better deal. I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott the night before in another state for 94.00 and it is a higher star grade. The overall stay was nice though despite the price.”

• The king size bed.
• The outside was nasty looking; breakfast was horrible.

“There are only two good thing about the hotel was the room was clean and the staff was friendly. The hallway to our room STUNK!!! I have no idea where or what the odor was, but it was nasty. The first morning, my husband and I checked out the "breakfast." Once again, I was not impressed, and the food did not taste that good. If you like a fat/sugar full breakfast then this is the place for you. All that was served was donuts and water downed juice. Would you like some oranges with your water? We ended up going some where else to eat.”

• yelling in hallway,2 lightbulbs out, took frontdesk 1.5 hrs to change lightbulbs.

“I wanted to stay in Mt. Gretna, this was the closest hotel I could get. The room was smelly, the halls dirty and dingy, the front desk unresponsive, there were two bulbs out in the room and they said they'd be up right away to change them. It took three phone calls and an hour and a half before they came up, then they had to make two trips! I was not impressed by this hotel, unhappy that it was so far away from where I wanted to stay.”

• The hotel was clean, had a pool.
• They charged me $20.00 more per day than agreed.

“Located right off the highway, it is close to Hershey and Dutch Wonderland. Free continental breakfast, inground pool and kiddie pool included. Near restaurant, gas station, and convenience store. In room refrigerator and microwave. The hotel was clean.”

• I didn't expect to have fridge and microwave---what a help!
• The hotel was located at an odd juncture--challenging to find

“This hotel was very clean, spacious and had a great deluxe cont. breakfast. The pools were clean. They even had a small wading pool (12") for toddlers.The air conditioning worked great. The hotel staff were eager and ready to help us fine our way to our next destination. highly recommended! ”

“Older hotel. The hallways smelled of smoke. The non-smoking room smelled smoked in. The hotel was not willing to give me 2 double beds for my stay, even though that is what I asked for. They charged me extra $20 per day.”

“Motel-style accommodations in need of renovation and upgrade. Clean, but the decor is dingy and outdated. Limited amenities and only one dining option within walking distance of hotel. Staff was courteous and prepared for my arrival. No high-speed internet available.”
