- The location is good, close to transportation and local sights.
- You have to pay for everything, $10 internet, $35 parking, $5 bottled water.
“This location was good but this is definitely a place where you are expected to have business pay for all your expenses because they want to add them up. Very nice room but don't drink the bottled water, its $5.”

- I really liked the room that they had booked me; it had a sliding window or door to step outside some.
- They have the only sets of elevators to go up to your room in one location so its a long walk to some room on the other side of the building.

- Attentive, knowledgeable staff, great location.
- Parking fees roll the dice for garage space.
“Upscale touches and conveniences (the fruit infused water in the lobby was a nice welcome after a warm day) abound. Concierge was always very helpful and made a great recommendation/reservation for a nearby eatery for dinner (we had a 2-yr old with us, and needed someplace that wouldn't turn up their nose). Only drawback was paying $30/night for parking in their garage, and praying that there was space.”

- Decor was nice, but very cold feeling.
“I would stay again; you are at the mercy of the person checking you in as to what you get for a room. The parking fees are $35 a day, which I found to be expensive. The rooms where nice, the view not very good. We had an interior (atrium) room just above the bar area, it was very noisy at night.”

- It was very comfortable and the beds, bedspreads, and roll away bed were very comfortable.
- They didn't have adequate parking for our van because it was over 6 feet.
“It was wonderful and the staffs were very helpful and ready to serve. We were met with ice water and soft drinks as soon as we got into the hotel. It was such a wonderfully comfortable upscale hotel. We loved it a lot.”

“Nice, clean, centrally located hotel. For the most part, great staff. The room was comfortable and quiet, which was a plus after driving all night from KY. The bath was large and comfortable as were the beds. The brunch buffet was excellent. Overall, a pleasant stay.”

- Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
- I was locked out of my room a few times because door key would suddenly stop working. Somewhat inconvenient but no big deal.
“Rooms are large, very modern with flat panel TV, comfortable beds, and new furniture and clean. Great Location! About a 10 minute walk to the Whitehouse. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance and a convenience store around the corner. Staff was great! They often greeted me by name whenever I arrived back at the hotel (which is a nice touch). I traveled with my elderly mother and the staff went well out of their way to make us both feel comfortable. This hotel will definitely be my first choice for my next trip to Washington.”

- The beds!
- Nothing, everything was excellent.
“Very nice hotel with wonderful beds! The room has a view of the inner courtyard. It was in walking distance of everything we wanted to see, but we are walkers. Some people may prefer to be a few blocks closer to the mall or use a taxi. We had a little trouble at first finding it as the sign was not easily visible from the street we had walked down from the Metro. It was a great experience being in Washington for July 4th and what a deal on our room!”

“The hotel was nice, but very disappointed with the parking arrangements. We stayed a total of 3 nights and were told every time that their garage was full and we would have to find our own parking. It was a major inconvenience to deal with on a daily basis and overnight. I would not stay here again solely based on this issue.”

- There was a calm, beautiful "Asian" feel to this hotel, very "Zen-like"- an oasis in a busy city!
- Pretty office-building block. Finding a restaurant in the evening was a trial- not much to walk to!
“Gorgeous Westin quality - the "heavenly bed" is just that but the "heavenly bath" was even better- after a hot day in the city that double shower head and luxurious bath towels were a welcome bonus. The staff was wonderful- the carafe of fruit-infused waters in the lobby was a dream come true. Wonderful stay.”

- The AC didn't work correctly and the room was hot. We complained but it wasn't fixed.
“It was clear the hotel was still completing renovation and there were a lot of little things wrong or not quite finished. The biggest problem was the AC. We asked them to fix it 4 times and they couldn't get it to work. They said they would send up a fan but they never did. The hotel was full so they couldn't move us. If the AC was working properly, it would have been a very different experience.”

- The receptionist was friendly and kind when I arrived at 2:00 am.
- I asked for wake-up call which I never received. Room was partially cleaned. Signs of previous guest - such as room keys and bill.
“At 2:00 am I was given a room that was only partially cleaned. One of the beds obviously was lied upon with ruffled covers. There were signs of the previous guest in the room such as room keys and account bill left behind along with many finger prints and stains on the desk which were not wiped clean. My wake up call was never made. ”

“The hotel was under renovation at the time of stay. This was not identified to the guests until time of arrival. Service was extremely disorganized. 1. On property parking was not available. We were forced to find alternate parking each night. 2. The request for a double bed was not fulfilled until the 2nd night. 3. No 'Do not disturb' sign was available. Cleaning service began knocking on the door very early in the morning. 4. The room safe was missing. There was a sign on how to use the safe, but physically there was not one.”

- The price of the nightly stay fit my budget.
- Extensive renovations going on; the bed was too soft; restaurant food was poor; and was overbooked when we arrived.
“The staff members are very pleasant and try to please. However, please be aware that extensive renovations are going on. You may be awakened by the sound of construction as early as 8:00 a.m. And it can go on as long as 6:00 p.m. The double bed in my room was too soft for my taste, but I was able to get a bed board to deal with that issue. I have stayed at this hotel before and have found it to be very good. I would suggest that you wait until the construction ends before you book any rooms here.”

- Rude staff (especially valet/bell hop), no plumbing for several hours, no cable, no movies.
“When we showed up, they were unable to park our urban, we had to go a quarter mile away. This would not have been a problem expect I called them 2x prior. Our internet and cable did not work in our rooms; our plumbing was down for several hours with no warning for construction. Valley and bell hops were rude as well. I have stayed in several wyndham hotels in the past; this was by far the worse experience I have had at any hotel.”

- The hotel employees were very nice and helpful, due to noise from construction, my room was upgraded.
- The lobby was under construction, excessive noise, they over booked on parking. I had to use another lot.

- Convenient to places I needed to go to.
- If I had know hotel was under renovation, I would not have stayed there. Drilling woke me up early. Up early than anticipated.
“This hotel is okay and needs renovation. The furniture looks old. It is conveniently located and the staff was very good and very helpful. If I had known it was under renovation, I would not have stayed there. Construction noise woke me up earlier than anticipated. Noisy kids next door work me up at 4 a.m. At this time, I do not recommend it to anyone, hence the low marks. After remodeled is completed, then it will be a pretty good place to stay.”

- It was clean despite major renovations.
- My Wenham by request was not processed.
“The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the red line metro, which goes directly to all the tourist areas. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and will become a west in so they aren't paying much attention to detail in the decor. The sheets were very rough and the pillows were uncomfortable (I didn't get the soft pillows as per my Wenham by request specifications). Everything was just ok. There is a cave across the street, which is convenient. ”

- The staff is very nice, trying to accommodate for thru construction.
- Construction. The guests should be informed prior to arrival so we won't be shocked or annoyed by the inconvenience. The entrance was the bellmen.
“I love the mattress we had. I am planning to purchase it soon. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I saw some guests got really upset upon arrival as the entrance was under contraction. We had to squeeze through the little bellman's entrance where everyone was trying to get through with their luggage and everything else. This is lack of planning. We were there for 5 days, business and pleasure trip. ”

- Great interior atrium design.
- Hotel being renovated - noisy, cold.
“The hotel is in the final stages of being renovated. The main entrance doors were being replaced. Lobby was very cold and noisy. Not a very pleasant situation if you planned to spend any amount of time there. Once the renovations are completed, it will be very nice. But obviously, during the construction phase it wasn't. Because of our agenda, we didn¿t have to spend much time in the hotel!”

- Good location, comfortable.
- The strong smell of glue on the new carpets, no bar fridge, outdated hotel instruction booklet.
“Nice enough hotel, comfortable rooms, very quiet and very soft lighting - couldn't even see in the shower with the curtain across! The reception desk is a bit tucked away though. Hotel instructions are outdated, they mention the bar fridge which was non existent, the ice makers were not where they were supposed to be and there was no lighting over the coffee maker which made it impossible to see what you were doing. This was all on our one night stay, but I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wanted to stay.”

- Clean, reasonably priced, good location.
- Doing construction, so some facilities were less than stellar (the gym) or off limits.
“Decent place, reasonably priced for its location, presumably due to the construction currently going on there. Windows in the rooms don¿t look out. They overlook the central lobby area, which means that you can¿t open the window to get fresh air. I traveled in February, so that was okay, but I imagine that would be annoying in the warmer months.”
