• Elegant, old-world, politically relevant, great location.
• A bit stuffy and overly formal, unnecessary pomp.

“Beautiful, classic Federal style grand hotel from the mid 19th century situated just next to the White House and adjacent to the Mall. The Willard combines its extensive political history with an elegance and slight European shading to create a vibrantly traditional upscale experience. The rooms are large with high ceilings and the service is well above standard four and five star caliber.”

• Everything was perfect. All of the staff members were great and always asking if they can help in any way.
• Except for room service, there was nothing for the kids to eat.

“I would recommend it to everyone. The location is great for sight seeing. They are close to night time activities also.”

• The location, staff, and the stay in general.
• Some noise from other rooms.

• Location is fantastic for those wanting to stay close to the sites. Classy.
• Construction going on right outside of our room. Very noisy and no privacy.

“We loved this hotel's location and class. We had dinner downstairs for b-day; expect to pay a lot (food was good). The rooms are comfy and clean. They are doing construction and it's very noisy. At 8AM - 7PM they had a machine saw cutting directly outside of our room (third floor) There was a construction crew walking outside of our window (we had a view of the second floor roof where they were working on) so we had to keep the drapes closed all day. If there was some peace and privacy, we would have rated this place a 10.”
