“This clean, attractive hotel was conveniently located to a Metro stop as well as a few eateries and a CVS. The staff was friendly, the lobby was inviting and the room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. It was ideal for a weekend trip to DC.” Jun 4, 2008 by
Sharon from Portsmouth, VA
“Overall this was a decent hotel. Nothing fancy. The restaurant was a bit pricey and not in the best spot -- it was pretty much a part of the lobby. I think the end of May/beginning of June is a little late for goose down comforters. The A/C in the room was great though! Ice cold -- which it needed to be considering how hot and humid the hallways and lobby were. Would stay there again, but think the cost of such a standard room could be a tad cheaper.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Alex from Charlotte, NC
“Overall a great place to stay, fun night life 2 blocks away, easy to Metro in to DC from Orange Line, good place to eat in the area. Hotel is pretty clean, parking in hotel is ten a day or you can park free on street if its the weekend. Only down side was we ended up near the smokers floor.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Dave from San Jose, CA
“I was there for a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery so the location was good. Not too much traffic around the courthouse area. Easy walk to metro station and on into DC. Quick ride to Reagan Airport but a long ride to Dulles. Could walk to restaurants on Wilson road but we got caught in a rainstorm and had to take a taxi home.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Keisha from Washington Dc, DC
“I checked in quite late and the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. However, I was told at check-in that breakfast started at 6.so I woke up and went and started eating, I was shocked when the server asked me if I was ready for my bill. I had no idea breakfast was not included in the hotel cost so I had to go upstairs and get my wallet to pay for the bill. The server even stated that people think it's free all the time, and that the hotel needs to do a better job of indicating that the breakfast is not free. Given that this was a Hilton Hotel I thought breakfast would be included, as is the case with Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites. The room itself was big, but it probably b/c it was a handicapped room. The bed was comfy, along with the pillows. On a whole it was a nice room.” Jan 10, 2008 by

“In my judgment, the 2.5 star rating is unrealistic. I'm a leisure traveler and have been on many tours, this Hilton Inn surpassed many I've stayed in that were rated higher. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone visiting our Capital for pleasure or business.” Jul 8, 2007 by

“The Hilton Garden Inn Courthouse Plaza is located conveniently close to the wonderful DC Metro, so it's a great place to stay for vacation travelers wanting easy access to the Smithsonian and other downtown sights. Within easy walking distance are many restaurants and shopping. Great place to stay.” Jul 7, 2007 by

“A good place to stay with the price we paid. We did not have to drive during the time we stayed since the Metro station is close by. The parking spaces in the hotel garage are relatively narrow. We had problem parking a full size SUV.” Jul 5, 2007 by
Eddy from Bakersfield, CA
“The proximity to Washington D.C. was why we selected this hotel. It met our every expectation. The Metro was very close. The area (while not scenic) was new. We were right next to a new governmental complex. There were places to eat in the next block (well in the same building). And, the hotel was so clean. We were busy site-seers and this hotel was ideal for us.” Nov 15, 2006 by
Rebecca from Suffolk, VA
“This hotel was efficient. We asked for a late check-out and it was given to us. We arrived very late after spending the day in DC and everything was ready to go for us. The metro is very close and the staff is very friendly. The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable.” Apr 6, 2005 by
Jessica from Hillsborough, NJ
“Very pleasant rooms- new, clean and spacious! Most staff members were pleasant and helpful. Parking was FREE!! Location was close to a subway stop, but not too scenic. Overall, a VERY good experience. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
