“The Sheraton Suites is an older hotel. While the rooms have been divided into a living room and a bedroom, the areas are very small, especially when compared to places like the Homewood Suites or the Hilton Garden Inn. The other thing I did not like about this hotel was the continual charging for things like Internet service $10, parking $22 a day, water in the room $3.50 a bottle and so on. Our room was on the second floor near the pool so to make matters worse she could smell the chlorine from the room.” Dec 1, 2009 by
Anne Marie from Middletown,CT
“This hotel was beautiful and we all loved the way they were set up with the couch and chair and TV and the bedroom closed off by French doors. The kids just loved the pool and jacuzzi. I would stay here at this hotel again with children.” Nov 27, 2009 by
Reggie from Lafayette,CA
“The restaurant was closed while I was there. But it's an attractive place to stay.” Nov 18, 2009 by
Jay from Centerville,OH
“You can not beat this place for a weekend stay.” Nov 17, 2009 by
Theresa from Durham,NC
“Overall, pleased with the appearance of the hotel. Parking was as issue, however, and there was an additional fee to use the garage. The person who checked me in to the hotel seemed unprofessional, incompetent and / or distracted. This treatment made me regret having to stay there.” Oct 22, 2009 by
Patty from West Islip,NY “The suite with separate living area with microwave, refrig etc. made stay very comfortable.” Sep 24, 2009 by
Theresa from Cannonburg,PA
“We were in town for a Christening. The Sheraton suites was in a great location for us. We liked having a parking garage. The pool/hot tub was a nice plus! Liked the king-size bed with French doors to the living area.” Sep 15, 2009 by
Mars from Appleton,WI “Great value - staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was quite nice, room was quiet and very comfortable.” Sep 14, 2009 by
Debbie & Scott from Corinth,TX
“Hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay. WiFi was not free. $10 charge for this service that most hotels do for free. $22 for hotel parking!” Sep 6, 2009 by
Neil from N. Myrtle Beach,SC
“Hotel smells bad. Rooms are small for suites. Bathroom poorly lit, no ventilation. Charge for things such as bottled water in room and decaf coffee for coffee maker. Parking garage was like an oven and so was elevator to the garage. No conveniences close by. Lower priced hotels are just as nice or nicer. If I had paid full price I would have been extremely unhappy. Would not recommend ... and I am not one to complain.” Jul 11, 2009 by
Kevin from Fairfield,CT
“Priceline star ratings are way off. This hotel is a 2 star masquerading as a 3.5 star. The Sheraton is in a good location, if you like Old Town, but the hotel itself is worn out and shabby. Had dinner in the restaurant, we were the only customers in there. Still took over an hour, and all we had were sandwiches and pizza. Front desk staff was friendly.” Jun 25, 2009 by
Lynn from Louisville,OH
“The staff and hotel was wonderful. Quite, friendly.” Jun 19, 2009 by
Jack from Saint John,IN
“The Sheraton provided us with quality accommodations in a great part of Alexandria. It is located 7 blocks from the Old Town section of town. The staff was helpful and professional.” Jun 7, 2009 by
Candida from Lafayette,LA
“It was a comfortable place to sleep.” May 30, 2009 by

“This is a high quality hotel in the heart of Crystal City near the Reagan Nat Airport. The staff is above reproach and welcomed me in like extended family. They also provided excellent advise on where to eat and how to best enjoy the capitol city.” May 29, 2009 by
Laura from Charlotte,NC
“This was a fantastic, comfortable, clean hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and did not treat us like bargain shoppers even though we got a great deal through Priceline! The layout of the suite was perfect for traveling with children because one area was set up for our child and my husband and I could comfortably watch May 15, 2009 by
Mandy from Waverly,OH
“The appearance is very nice. The staff is a little hard to understand (English is our main language). The parking was crazy. We spent an additional $88.00 for our weekend trip just on parking.” Apr 30, 2009 by
Mike from Denver,CO “I would never stay here again as I felt they treated me like a 2nd class citizen. They were not warm and friendly.” Apr 12, 2009 by

Jessica from Suffolk,VA
“Very attractive, clean and comfortable suite. I wish I would have know that basically the only option for parking was the garage at $18 a night. The stay in the room was great, but the room service left a little something to be desired.” Dec 4, 2008 by
VeeVeca from Charlotte,NC
“The hotel staff is friendly and professional. They were apt in service and attention.” Nov 21, 2008 by
Robin from Beaumont,TX
“The hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located. The $18 parking fee was a little high, but very convenient. The hotel staff was not overly hospitable. However, I may expect a friendly staff since I am from Texas - this may be a cultural expectation.” Nov 17, 2008 by
Amy from Brooklyn,NY
“Spacious, very comfortable. Fancy enough. Good coffee in the room. King size bed with down comforters and pillows. Two TVs, living area, kitchenette. Trader Joes one block away. Old (and good) diner across the street. 1/2 mile to business district with tons of restaurants and shopping.” Nov 7, 2008 by
“Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Shuttle to Old Town area is very convenient. Service was friendly and efficient.

Ray

“The kitchen closed a little early, but the staff was extremely friendly. When we were in the bar and they closed the kitchen, the bartender told us where to order a pizza and we ate it in the bar. Excellent place.” Sep 21, 2008 by
Steve
“Rooms are very large and fit my family of four, with two cribs, very well. For the first time in our travels, two cribs were waiting for us in the room. Usually takes several phone calls to make that happen. Free Internet service in the lobby and airport/metro shuttle are great. Very close to Old Town (six to eight blocks). Refrigerator and microwave in room are nice for traveling with kids. Highly recommend this hotel.” Sep 13, 2008 by
Charlotte from Alexandria, VA
“Placed guest (age 80) in a quiet room, but 40 rooms from elevator. A room so far from elevator was inconsiderate.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Gill from Manchester, NH
“Very nice room, well decorated. Staff was friendly. The hotel is in a convenient location for travel to DC and other historical areas south of DC.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Staci from Virginia Beach, VA
“It is a great place to stay. The location is great and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The staff is also very nice. The only downfall there isn't free internet in the rooms. You have to pay for it. In this day and age most hotels have free internet.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Carl from Portsmouth, VA
“Hotel was in a good location. The staff was helpful, it's a decent place to stay. Bed was comfy, carpets are little on the scary side. Everything else in the room was nice. View was not the most desirable but it wasn't bad for the price. A good place to spend a night or two, might be a little small if the you have a family. Very central to old town Alexandria and all the action.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Jonathan from Vincennes, IN
“This was the first time I stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately there was no free internet access and no free coffee offered in the lounge. Also there was no local TV channels to watch, you had to pay for everything.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Daryl from West Orange, NJ
“Conveniently located in Old Towne VA, I found the Sheraton Suites staff to be friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had 2 plasma HDTV's. The separation of the living area and bedroom afforded privacy if needed. The room also had a microwave which was great for midnight snacking. Overall a pleasant experience.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Rebecca from Silver Spring, MD
“The room was very attractively arranged with great use of space and modern equipment with HD TV in both living and bedrooms. It's near to King Street for convenience of Old Town, but far enough away to be quiet. The hotel staff is very friendly. Would love to stay there again.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Laura from New Rochelle, NY
“We enjoyed the stay in Alexandria, we loved the town and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Kim from Kansas City, MO
“Overall, the stay was fine even though we were not at the hotel much. We were site seeing. The kids were very uncomfortable on the pullout couch. The king bed was very comfortable and the room the king bed was in was very quiet. The room was very clean and the hotel was nice. The pool area closed sooner than the time that was on the schedule which was upsetting considering the kids were looking forward to swimming after a day in Washington DC. The shuttle bus driver was AWESOME.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Julie from Festus, MO
“The beds felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The pool and hot tub were relaxing after walking all day. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, there were bottle caps under the chair. The toilet wouldn't flush, they came immediately to fix it, then it kept running, they again came right after we called, the toilet then kept leaking, but we just decided to deal with it, since that was the worst thing in our room.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Em from Holland, OH
“When we arrived at the hotel, there was no customer in line. There were three front desk clerk and we stood for 5 minutes before one of them ask if we needed help. I thought that was very poor customer service.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Marietta from Robbinsville, NJ
“Rooms are very cramped and when sofa bed is unfolded, very hard to get around--sofa also filthy & lobby was under construction. Pocket door to bath has no lock. Stains on carpet. The hotel provided a shuttle there, but I hate using a shuttle with a large # of small kids as it's hard to wait for the return trip. Not what I expected--very disappointed!” Aug 7, 2008 by
Kate from San Rafael, CA
“The first room I was given was not as clean as it could have been and was next to the ice machine. A Calif King in one room, a double pull out sofa in a separate room, and the bathroom connecting to both (as well as a wet-bar in the sitting room). For a wedding. Just enough space, room to lounge around, and everyone were comfortable! Staff was very kind, though sometimes hard to comprehend (accents). Free shuttle runs to airport and main Metro stations. Hotel is a 7-10 block walk from interesting parts of Alexandria. Not too far, and a nice walk along the river. Overall enjoyable!” Aug 5, 2008 by
Cara from Coloma, MI
“This was a fantastic hotel, just across the bridge in VA with easy access to all DC sights. It had TWO flat panel TVs in each room and everything was luxurious. My relatives could not say enough about how nice it was.”
