• Little knowledge/ pamphlets given on sites/shows etc in area.

“Great beds and bedding. Nice and quiet. Great location for metro use. Staff could know more of area in relationship to booklets, schedules, shows.”

• Excellent location. Connected to Metro station via underground tunnel. Minutes from downtown DC.
• The pool and exercise room was closed for renovation.

“Very comfortable, clean facility. Excellent location, with underground shops, restaurants and tunnel to Metro station. Minutes from downtown DC, Arlington, Alexandria and Reagan Airport.”

• Great location, airport shuttle, comfortable rooms.
• High speed internet access costs $10.

“Excellent hotel: the only way to catch an early flight out of Reagan national! Why fight the i-95 traffic and stress out over getting to the airport on time. Spend Sunday night and take the free shuttle.”

• The pool was very nice.
• You can not bring alcohol from bar to room and you have to walk past the dining room to go to the pool/work out room.

“We are a family of four. We spent a small amount of time actually in the hotel, but when we did it was very nice. The indoor pool/spa was a hit with everyone, especially after walking all over D.C.”

• The quality of the room furnishings was excellent great service to and from Airport.
• Front Desk Counter staff was limited and would not acknowledge people waiting in line.

• Great location, pool, staff, near Metro and mall.
• For families, frig and micro would be nice.

“Great location. Kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel is at a Metro stop, so you just walk to the station. For families, the dining is limited. There was no frig or microwave in the room. Good beds and cable. Nice view.”

• The proximity of the metro station was outstanding, as well as the comfort of the rooms.
• The only thing I did not like was having to pass by the dining area to get to the pool area.

“The private rooms and public areas of the Marriott Crystal City were spotless and the staff was probably the friendliest and happiest I've ever dealt with at any hotel or any other business. Their pool area was very nice and had extremely convenient hours. The beds were the most comfortable that I've ever slept in, which made us well-rested for our sightseeing around the museums and monuments in the city and the room service food was delicious, served promptly and not outrageously expensive. Having the Crystal City shops and metro within such short distance were big bonuses, because our children could not possibly find any way to become bored. There were even video games they could play on the TV in the room. We plan to stay here again every time we come to Washington, DC.”

• Marriot Crystal City was very convenient to public transit.
• The service in the CC Bistro was surprisingly slow.

• We were put in a handicap room.

• VERY convenient access to/from Natl Airport via train.
• Nothing (food was expensive, but I expected that).

“Staff greeted me with friendly attitude upon my late arrival to the hotel. Room service was quick and efficient. Rooms were very quiet and private. Enjoyed my short stay at the hotel.”

• The other Marriott is 2 blocks away, so it was a bit confusing

“I enjoyed my stay at the Marriott Crystal City. The room was very spacious for the 3 of us and convenient to the Metro so we could come and go to D.C. very conveniently. Also the parking at the hotel $14 was good for 2 days, a bargain for the East Coast. I would definitely stay there again if my travels take me nearby.”

“The Crystal City Marriot in Arlington, VA was up to our standards! The room was large and luxurious! The amenities provided were as expected. Thank you! The one thing we were slightly confused by: there is another Marriott (the Crystal Gateway) around the corner from the hotel we stayed at- it took us awhile to find the right hotel. What's the difference anyway?! Thanks again for providing us an affordable hotel room in a great three star hotel!”

“The hotel was clean and comfortable. The $14.95 for parking was reasonable considering the area. An extensive underground Mall made for an easy access to restaurants, a grocery store, a pharmacy and the Metro system. I would recommend this hotel for someone wishing to stay in DC.”

The restaurant was also very nice and the service was impeccable. Nice pool and gym too.”
