“I had a very short but pleasant stay at the hotel. The suite was huge, with a very large sitting area with a dining space connected by a short hallway to a large separate bedroom. Both rooms had nice large flat screen TVs and large windows, and were clean. My room was on a lower floor overlooking Jefferson Davis Highway, which is a busy, noisy road, but I sleep with earplugs in hotels anyway so it wasn't an issue. The hotel is conveniently located about 3 blocks from the Crystal City metro stop, and also very close to the Pentagon.” Oct 23, 2008 by

“Fabulous room; great staff; very clean.” Oct 13, 2008 by

“Highly recommended. I will stay there again. Workout facilities were great with several machines, not just the typical bike, weight bench and TV setup. Staff was hospitable, parking was included and free with a secure garage under the hotel. Very convenient to getting around to sight see as well.” Sep 30, 2008 by

“This is a nice hotel with very spacious rooms. It is convenient located with about a 10-minute walk to the Metro. I very much enjoyed the excellent breakfast and the warm atmosphere in the rooms.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Katherine from Wallingford, PA
“Good location for WDC sightseeing. Manageable walk, or shuttles to Metro station. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good value for the money.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Sarah from Pittsburgh
“My stay at the Embassy Suites Crystal City was just about as close to perfect as you can expect. I love this brand to begin with as it is well worth the small extra cost to me to have free breakfast. The breakfast here is great, plenty of options, and a great omelet station. I also liked the pool area, a little bit small but in a glass roofed room so it felt like you were outside. The rooms were clean and being that they were all suites there was plenty of room in them. They aren't located right next to any major attractions but the short drive is easily made up for with the closeness to the airport and the free shuttle to and from. Staff was outstanding and I would have no problem booking a stay here again.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Tom from Newark, CA
“I have stayed at The Embassy Suite in Las Vegas and this DC hotel is better. The rooms are the same and the basic interior design the same. The service is comparable but the ambiance is friendlier. I felt very at home and made comfortable at this hotel.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Henry from Rancho Cucamong, CA
“Staff is very polite and friendly. Metro Crystal city is within walking distance. However, hotel offers a shuttle DCA airport.” Jul 15, 2008 by

“Embassy suites hotel crystal city - national airport, 1300 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia, overall review - I would stay at this hotel again and recommend to others!” Jul 9, 2008 by
John from Harrison Township, MI
“Not good for DC visitors. A shuttle is required to get to the Metro. The breakfast is good, but incredibly crowded and the staff continually ran out of coffee and other breakfast items. I left after two nights and went to the Embassy Suites in Alexandria which is right across the street from the Metro and is clean and new.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Mary from Holden, MA
“Clean, attractive rooms in a good location.” Jun 29, 2008 by
Michael from Columbus, GA
“This hotel was easy to find and had easy access from the interstate. I enjoyed having the suite arrangement. It gave us a little bit of luxury to escape from our first foray into the busy metropolis of the Arlington/DC area.” Jun 27, 2008 by
Christina from Arroyo Grande, CA
“It is a beautiful hotel, and the food and staff are excellent.” Jun 6, 2008 by
Valerie from Fort Myers, FL
“Stayed in this hotel months ago on my first trip to Washington D.C. It was a nice place. It is in close proximity to several Washington D.C. attractions that were good. And close to the Reagan Airport, so that was quite convenient as well, as the shuttle took us to and from the hotel. The rooms are really nice, with 2 TVs, a fridge, microwave, like a whole kitchen area, just enough so you can make your own little meals. They are spacious, and they were clean. Staff was nice and helpful during check-in.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Joe from Duluth, MN
“We really enjoyed the hotel and their accommodative nature when it came to driving us to nearby attractions. The shuttle to the metro was invaluable. The breakfast was also excellent.” Apr 27, 2008 by
Mary from Harrisburg, PA
“Rate was good but room was smaller than expected. And near busy highway. Too much noise during the night.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Ingrid from Kenly, NC
“I misunderstood that this hotel was smoke free and therefore booked a smoking room thinking that they were all smoke free; well, I was wrong. Except for the toilet it was relatively clean, but my nostrils were stressed when stepping outside the room (2nd floor); the smell of cigarette smoke was really bad, though I didn't really see anybody smoking. The hotel was overrun by school children, who took advantage of the manager's special. As a result, this area looked like a disaster area. We ate in the restaurant instead, the food took very long, probably because the manager's special time was not quite over yet; but the staff was friendly. My nephew's pizza was burned at the crust so bad that you couldn't eat it; but he didn't want to wait another 30-40 minutes, so he just ate the inside. When I couldn't finish my container of ice cream, I took it to the room; but despite the kitchen area, there was not a single piece of eating utensils; and I couldn't freeze the rest. The breakfast was great; the location was great for Arlington National Cemetery; but overall I was disappointed; I was trying to find a place that i could return to. I have to try something else next time. If I had a family with several kids, I would recommend it alone for the food; but in a non-smoking room. The kids were in heaven.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Patricia from Valkaria, FL
“I chose this hotel because of its location to the airport and metro. They were one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in. They were always willing to take you anywhere you needed to go. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay in the hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Haile from Brossard, QC CA
“A fairly priced upscale hotel where the services are very friendly.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Jeannie from Clinton, MD
“This is our 2nd time here to celebrate our anniversary. We dined at your restaurant for dinner. We were the only ones there. The rolls were hard, food was slow coming, waiter hardly came to your table. He was busy with room service, he told us when we ordered dessert. Dessert and the check took 20 or 30 minutes each to receive. Next year we are going to go somewhere else. The New Years noise at 1AM & piano playing & 3AM noise to be woken up to, was not controlled by your staff. I was disappointed this year. We felt we deserved some kind of credit for this stay. Thank you for your understanding.” Sep 18, 2007 by
Noel from Amawalk, NY
“Excellent service, especially the shuttle service provided by the hotel.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Sharon from Bolingbrook, IL
“Great stay for families. Staff could be a little bit friendlier.” Aug 17, 2007 by
Joanna from Hickory, NC
“This was the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast was a buffet that was very good! The manager's reception was 2 hrs of free drinks and snacks! Loved this hotel!” Aug 4, 2007 by
Donald from Yazoo City, MS
“The Hotel is excellent. The suites are large, with all the amenities you'll need for a short or long stay. There is a gift/snack shop in the lobby and even though the Metro stop is about a half mile walk (short by Washington DC standards), the Hotel Shuttle will take you anywhere you want to go for free. Very close to Washington Reagan Airport. Short walk to Fashion City Mall (Hugh Mall). I would definitely stay there again.” Jul 26, 2007 by
Dan from Cranberry, PA
“Over the entire hotel had everything we needed.” Jul 3, 2007 by
Cleo from Buffalo, NY
“I liked the home like atmosphere of the sitting /dining area from the bedroom. I especially like the food and the seating arrangements of the dining area. I also like the relaxed seating arrangement in the lobby. Finally, I felt safe to go out for walks in the area.” May 4, 2007 by
David from Lusby, MD
“This was a terrific value and extremely clean. Decoration was pretty.” May 3, 2007 by

“A hotel that I would recommend to any friend or acquaintance, rich or poor, business or leisure traveler, family person or not.” May 2, 2007 by
Candace from Huntingtown, MD
“Excellent value; very nice surroundings, professional staff, nice amenities, understated atmosphere - more sophisticated than most embassy suites I¿ve seen. Nice breakfast except made to order omelets not cooked properly -vets should be sautéed first and eggs fully cooked. Nice cocktail hour could be improved with hot hors doers.” May 2, 2007 by
Meghan from Avon, CT
“My experience here overall was fantastic. The hotel was much nicer than I expected.” Apr 26, 2007 by
Derek from Greenwood, SC

“It was very good.” Nov 1, 2006 by
Allan M. from Durham, NC
“This hotel is conveniently located to Reagan airport, Crystal City, and reasonably located to Georgetown, but you will need a car or taxi. The hotel is well appointed for a 3-star hotel; the rooms (as with all Embassy Suites I have stayed in) are spacious and comfortable. The staff however, leaves much to be desired. This was a combined personal/leisure trip at the front end of a business trip. The morning after my stay, I needed to get to Dulles airport for a 9:45 flight. I asked the desk clerk the evening before to arrange for car service the following morning. He said he would take care of it, and then find me in the restaurant to inform me of the details. After dinner, having not heard from the desk clerk, I checked back at the front desk, only to find that the desk clerk had left without doing anything! The new desk clerk agreed to take care of matters while I waited. After approximately 30 minutes, he informed me that everything was arranged. The following morning, I showed up at the appointed time, but no car was waiting. On contacting the car service, they said they did not have any record of a reservation. I then had the new (3rd) desk clerk call a taxi. After almost 20 minutes, I finally had my ride to the airport. Message for this hotel is you will likely be comfortable, but don't count on the staff to be helpful.” Jul 27, 2006 by
Jill from East Peoria, IL
“Very nice hotel. My husband, 16-year-old son and I were pleased. Great pool! Lifeguards are grumpy, though, and make it clear they would rather be anywhere else. Hotel is very close to a nice mall with good restaurants. The hotel shuttle service is good and the shuttle trip to the subway (Metro) is less than 10 minutes. The shuttle picks up and drops off on a regular basis. We felt safe walking back from the mall at night. The beds are very comfortable! Wish they offered free Internet access - it costs $10 per day. So many other hotels are now offering it totally free, and this one should really think about it. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!” May 3, 2006 by
Cecile from Groton, MA
“I loved it! The decor is nice, the staff is very nice and professional. The rooms are great. We loved the restaurant inside, convenient, delicious at a reasonable price.” Mar 15, 2006 by
Nick from Leesburg, VA
“Offers the quality associated with an Embassy Suites. Rooms are a little smaller than a usual ES but two Adults had plenty of room. Metro is short walk as is a Costco and two Malls. We utilized Metro for our trip into DC and the Smithsonian Museums. It was what I expected and I would stay there again.” Jun 9, 2005 by
Jerry from Westfield, IN
“The service and the location are great, however, this hotel has seen better days. Its a nice place however it is aging.” May 11, 2005 by
