• Staff, location, lounge, comfortable room.
• Spa/pool area closed for two days.

“The Fairmont is conveniently located in foggy bottom easy walking distance to Georgetown, Dupont circle and the white house. The lounge is relaxing with live piano music in the evenings. The only downside was that we had chosen this hotel based on the fact that it had it own indoor pool, but the pool was scheduled for maintenance over the new year holiday and did not open until the 2nd. And, although this hotel has a spa/pool partnership with the Ritz, their pool was closed on the 31st/1st as well.”

“I liked the location of the hotel with easy access to the Metro and walking distance to Georgetown. The hotel staff were very friendly and service-oriented. The hotel common rooms were extremely attractive and a nice place to relax after a full day of sight-seeing.”

• For the price this is an incredible hotel.
• Smoking allowed in the lobby/bar area.

“This was a fantastic hotel. We were very happy with the staff and the service. The Juniper is also a terrific classy restaurant. ”

• Excellent location, impeccable room and friendly and helpful staff.
• I honestly have no negative comments.

“There is little to say except that I was extremely pleased with the hotel. The staff was both friendly and courteous and the room impeccable. About my only regret was not being able to enjoy the fitness center due to my short stay.”
