  hated that
  I had to pay 16.00 dollars for parking and 12.00 dollars for saturday parking every hotel
  I have stayed in
  I have not pay no more than 6.

• Free shuttle to the Metro Station and good breakfast buffet.

“Very accommodating. My son lost money in the pop machine and they replaced it. Pop machine did not work on our floor and he lost money on the upper floor. Hotel was clean and had a great shuttle service.”

• Beautiful room.
• Distance from metro stop. The hotel offered shuttle to the stop but we were on our own late at night when we arrived.

• Convenient to get to Washington DC.

“Good location to get to Washington DC by car or public transportation, especially subway. The hotel provides the complimentary shuttle to subway station. If you travel there on weekends, you can park for free on the street and save your money.”

• The fitness center was nice and so
  was the staff.
• They charged for Internet, parking, microwave, fridge and probably anything else you touched!

“I was aware of the risks of booking a room without knowing what you would get and this was my first time. Having to pay extra for everything did not make it worth my while to change hotels as I was at a Quality inn where Internet, parking, fridge, microwave and free breakfast is included. This Hyatt had rough sheets and the bathroom counter is too high for an average height woman. I'm 5'4" and it was uncomfortable to use the sink in the bathroom. Appearance wise, the place is beautiful.”

• Very clean. Very helpful employees.
• Pool was closed due to broken light bulb in pool.

“The location was difficult to find, although it was in a safe area. Valet parking was expensive - $25/day, which is all the hotel offered. However, we found a cheaper ($8/day) lot right around the corner. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.”

• very safe neighborhood with resteraunts and plentiful free/cheap parking
• a little distance from Metro

“Everyone is complaining about parking. If you go over the weekend most of the lots around Crystal City are free or very cheap (much less than $30.00). The closest lot is two/three blocks away (PMI I think) it is was like $6.00 on Sat and Sun. The closest free lot (again on weekends) was about five/six blocks away across from a great Tapas restaurant. The lots are underground.”

• It was clean.
• It was not near as comfortable or accommodating as the Crystal City Sheraton.

“Hotel lobby and room were very clean and presentable. Staff was courteous but aloof. Noises from hallway and other rooms could be heard very well. Room did not have a small fridge as did the Sheraton. Sheraton provided small continental breakfast and snacks in the evening which this hotel did not. Pool was clean, but jacuzzi had a cloudy cast to the water. Location was quite a distance from the nearest Metro. A shuttle was provided for the Metro, but it tended to not be on time. My stay there was not near as nice as my stay at the Sheraton a few days earlier.”

• Dining and wait staff in all areas.
• No towel racks in bathroom.

“I was most impressed with the class and professionalism of the entire staff. Wonderful desk service at all times and the food and dining was above all expectations. Room was perfect except there were not towels racks. Knew that must on purpose but I found it a bit lacking, had to find a spot to leave it, and be able to reuse it that day. Only unset finding on the entire hotel. Dining was a pure pleasure!”

• Location to Washington, DC was very good.
• $25 per night parking is ridiculous.

“Not with standing the absurd parking fee for guests, the hotel was very comfortable, clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I would definitely consider staying again on the basis of using local travel conveniences and not the parking facility.”

• Beautiful decor, courteous & helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, close to attractions, free shuttle to airport & subway.
• $25 overnight parking charge! Park next door, it's cheaper!

“The hotel is gorgeous. It was clean, comfortable, and I felt like I was in an upscale hotel. The staff was accommodating. There is a free shuttle to and from the local airport and local subway station. The concierge was helping in giving advice on transportation & visiting the tourist attractions. The downside to this hotel is $25 charge to park.”

• The location of the hotel is pretty convenient and the concierge is quite helpful.
• The waiting time at the bar is pretty long and it was short of waitress.

“The hotel is in general quite nice for families. The room was quite spacious and the location is convenient. There is shuttle bus service available to and from the metro station, which helps the leisure travelers.”

• It is a nice hotel, but their is absolutely no noise insulation-- I was woken up at 2/3am a few times by loud voices reverberating in the room
• Noise level in the room .

“The hotel is nice, but surprisingly the rooms are incredibly noisy. If there is someone staying in the next room, you will hear their voices (as if they are in the same room!). I was awakened at about 2/3am a few times by very loud voices. Other than that, it is a nice hotel.”

• The shuttle was great, on time. Room decor was nice.
• Disappointing room service; not entirely clean and burns on carpet.

“The Hyatt Regency Crystal City looks like a nice hotel on the surface. The room decor is hip and space is ample. Room service food was very expensive and very small portion-wise. The staff didn't mention that pizza deliveries were made to security and you have to meet the driver in security.”

“During my two-night stay at this Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, I was greeted by friendly staff and clean common areas. The room was spacious and was finished in hardwoods and a wonderful mocha and tan decor.”

• No guest laundry facilities to do own laundry at.

“Nice upscale combination of amenities available here, except for lack of Guest Laundry facilities to do own laundry at. No frig or microwave in the room. Has a roof-top bar & restaurant, as well the restaurant just above the lobby. Has lobby bar and lobby coffee bar. Fitness center available at all hours.”

• Nice bar, could smoke at the bar, and hotel extremely close to airport.
• The enter sign pointed to the airport driveway, which forced me to errantly go to the airport while trying to get to the hotel.

“It was fine. I arrived late, had a beer at the bar, went to sleep, and left early. Didn't actually have much experience at the hotel.”

• Beautiful view (albeit a McDonald's sign) and decadent davenport.
• Staff was rude and dismissive.

“Close to Reagan National Airport, and just across the river from DC, the hotel towers above the Pentagon area and provides wonderful views. Nicely decorated and well designed, you'll get plenty of rest or lots of recreation at this property.”

“Upscale business hotel in nice neighborhood near Washington National Airport, shopping, restaurants and Metro. Easy (and cheap) cab ride to downtown Washington. Shuttle to Airport and Metro. Gift shop a little pricey. A great experience over all.”

• Location.
• Jack hammer waking us up at 7 am!

“This hotel was being renovated, so no pool, no exercise room. Also, I complained about the jack hammer or power drill upstairs from us that woke us up at 7 am. Nothing was done about it. It is probably a nice place when renovations are not being done, but the star rating should be lowered.”

• Room was updated and very comfortable and pleasant. Ihome for ipod dock was a nice extra.
• People were coming and going in the hallway until 1 and 2 in the morning. Was this a safety issue?

• Great location, tasty breakfast and
  everyone is friendly.
• Parking is expensive - $23 per night, valet only.

“Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. Convenient to everything, clean, trendy. There is renovation going on somewhere on a second floor, but it didn't bother us. Staff was friendly. Parking was expensive though - $23 per night. Otherwise, a very nice hotel.”

• Internet was $9.95 a day.

“Great hotel. Very nice in everyway and top notch exercise room. We are getting spoiled with free internet and have come to expect it. It comes as a disappointment when you have to pay $9.95 per day for it. Other than that, I would stay here all the time if I could.”

• Roof top restaurant, service, price and shuttle.
• There were
  stains on the tan carpet and the room hadn't been dusted.

“Having stayed there before, it was ideal for my stop over. The location is convenient, service and food great. Room was smaller, but probably because they had 2 large groups checking out. Would stay there again.”

“Even though there was very noisy construction going on during the day, the hotel staff

• The room was awesome, food was great.
• The outdoor pool was already closed for the season and they didn't have an indoor facility.

“My overall stay was just perfect, more than I expected. I was however, very disappointed in the fact that they did not have an indoor pool/sauna very surprising for a Hyatt and disappointing.”

“Great hotel. The rooms are nice and modern. The beds are comfortable. The only draw back was that the water from the shower ran on the floor. This was one of those modern shower with the shower tile directly connected to the rest of the bathroom.”

“There was a NGWA convention during the weekend we stayed at this hotel. Was told there were around 1,000 people coming in all the sudden. Every floor was noisy! People were talking loudly with their doors open; kids were chasing in the hallway; elevators were stuffed! We couldn't sleep at all at 12 am, so had to change to another room. It didn't help. As I said, every floor was noisy. Nobody could escape. I think the hotel could just do a better job by putting all the convention members on the same floors, but letting other customers stay on the separate floors for a quiet sleep.”
