“Because the price was so low is was scared about what we would get, but it was wonderful. Better then I expected, I would do again at the price I paid.” Aug 19, 2009 by
Lili from Colorado Springs,CO
“Great service and accommodations. We dined in the restaurant/bar for dinner three nights in a row for their fantastic prime rib! Had to pay for Internet service, though.” Aug 15, 2009 by
Janet from Amherst,NY
“Wonderful hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is exceptionally friendly.” Jul 23, 2009 by
Donna from Upper Marlboro,MD
“I woke up in the middle of the night and found a bed bug in the bed w/ me. I called downstairs to be moved immediately, customer service rep. cud not do anything until morning when management arrive. Put it in plastic bag gave to manager, wrote a letter and haven't heard back from him yet.” Jul 14, 2009 by
Leroy from Marietta,GA
“Overall a good value.” Jul 6, 2009 by
Bill from Missoula,MT
“Very nice, and good people to take care of you.” Jun 9, 2009 by
Jenny from Dallas,TX “We enjoyed our stay here, it was relatively quiet even though there was construction across the street. The food in the restaurant was limited and expensive, but that is completely normal for a hotel restaurant. The pool is small but functional. They do have WiFi in the rooms despite some lack of clarity on that subject on their web site.” May 26, 2009 by
Geoff from Fpo,AE
“Good hotel. The lack of shuttles during off times was a hassle. Apart from that, it was a good stay for a good price.” May 14, 2009 by
Paula from Houston,TX
“The hotel was was located in an area where there were places to eat and there was a mall near by.” May 11, 2009 by
Caitlin from Baltimore,MD
“The hotel was clean and well soundproofed with a view of city lights and the river. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The desk help was friendly but did not always know what they were talking about. There was no free breakfast. The experience was nondescript but pleasant.” Apr 17, 2009 by
Steve from Charlotte,NC
“It was a nice hotel, but I did not appreciate being woke up by hammers and drills at 8 in the morning after I had gotten in late. It would have been nice if they would have put me in a room that was not right next to the construction. I was very tired for work the next day.” Mar 18, 2009 by
Lena from La Mott,PA
“It was fine except for the detached pool staff and the pay to park situation (and having to enter a code each time I came in and out) and the location - the general area was fine but the way the building is situated made it a little difficult.” Dec 10, 2008 by
Bill from Cranberry Township,PA
“This would be my first choice for a hotel in Crystal City. Free internet, clean comfortable rooms and a great location. Always my number one choice in this city.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Anne from Winterville, NC
“Any Marriott is going to be a nice place to stay. This Courtyard Marriott was well located, I never had to wait for a shuttle to the Metro, the staff was very friendly and quite helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, business travelers, families, sightseers to the Nation's Capitol and Northern Virginia.” Sep 7, 2008 by
Nancy from Norman, OK
“Spacious room, no microwave or fridge. Was a little far from the area attractions but they do offer a free shuttle with area if you can wait a little bit. All of service was great with the exception of one shuttle driver.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Molly from New Milford, CT
“This hotel was great for what we needed - convenient location and a nice clean room for our weekend trip. Parking would have been expensive at $12/day but we were able to have friends drive us around. Our only complaint, albeit minor, is that our key card stopped working on the last night and we had to wait a few minutes for someone to get to the front desk and give us a new one. Overall I'd recommend the hotel, especially if you'd like to be near the airport.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Helena from Fayetteville, GA
“Friendly staff; close to Reagan Airport, with shuttle service.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Patrice from Williamsburg, VA
“The stay was fine and in line with what I expected for this hotel class. No major complaints. I had an issue with my bill and the staff was very helpful.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Joe from York, PA
“There was a minor mistake with a credit card but the hotel handled it expeditiously. The comfort of the bed made sleeping a dream.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Janet from Durham, NC
“Very conveniently located, free parking on the street, friendly workers.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Thomas from Euclid, OH
“Nice, clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast would be nice since I attended very early meetings. The wireless internet was very convenient.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Kathy from Allen, MD
“Clean simple room, well appointed for business or leisure traveler. Quick service from front desk staff - Close to main restaurants, easy parking, safe location.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Jackie from Durham, NC
“This hotel is great. It is a 15 min walk (or 3 min free shuttle) to the Metro for trips into DC. The bed was awesome! Nice staff, though a little befuddled when ringing up purchases from their pantry store. The free business area is generous but it is noisy cause it shares open air space with the restaurant and the Internet connection is slow. The pool was nice, the Jacuzzi jets are strong, great for a foot massage after a day of walking in DC!” Aug 8, 2008 by
Erwin from San Diego, CA
“Great location, great price. I would recommend this hotel.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Beverly from Arlington, VA
“Clean, modern, and pleasant. This hotel would meet the needs for business, government, family travel. Two miles from downtown DC, at edge of Crystal City, with plenty of shopping and restaurants.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Melanie from Paris, TN
“Met all expectations for the price. The bed was very comfortable and the view very nice. Staff was courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!” Jul 31, 2008 by
Jennise from Buffalo, NY
“The hotel room locked outdated especially compared to others in the area, they did not offer any perks i.e. free breakfast, the Jacuzzi was broken and had to be drained. The staff was rude and not very knowledgeable, every staff member had a different answer to the same question. I had 2 rooms so I called ahead to make sure each room had 2 double beds and they were on the same floor. This did not happen, my mother and I shared a room and she is recovering from double knee replacement surgery and I from a hip injury so separate beds were essential to our comfort as the kids were in the other room. Needless to say the didn't have 2 rooms with double beds on the same floor so I ended up on the couch very uncomfortable and gave my mom the bed. It was an awful experience and left early.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Bob from Titusville, PA
“They shuttled us around crystal city and to the metro, so we could go to DC without our car.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Keith from Steubenville, OH
“The hotel mostly met my expectations. The room and lobby were clean. The housekeeping was attentive. The check in was poorly understaffed. One lady working on the night of July 3rd in a large hotel (about 14 floors) located next to the nation's capitol. She had to check people in, answer the phone and sell snacks from the market with a line of people. The next surprise was that there was a daily parking fee of 10 or 12 bucks/day. Besides these 2 issues, the family, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our close proximity to everything. The rooms were spacious and the coffee in the room was good. I would stay again.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Jen from Westerville, OH
“The location of the hotel is decent if the Metro System is working correctly. We were attending a wedding in Washington DC and planned to use the Metro to go to the church. Unfortunately the Metro had very long delays. The front desk staff was very helpful getting a taxi for us. The rooms are cleaned and the beds are comfortable. I was not pleased with the breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant.” Jul 16, 2008 by
Leon from Virginia Beach, VA
“The staff and facility was excellent, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub was just what the doctor ordered, that was fantastic. Over all I would love to stay there again!” Jul 15, 2008 by
Cindy from Portsmouth, OH
“I thought this hotel was tastefully decorated and modern. It was spacious and clean. I thought the restaurant prices were high so we chose to eat at a McDonalds, across the street and Chilis which was one of many other restaurants on the same block. The shuttle service to the Metro was great for us!” Jul 11, 2008 by
Marilyn from Oxon Hill, MD
“There are three Marriott hotels in this area and I never knew the third existed. It is off the road, but quite nice inside. The rooms were a little stuffy. The carpets should be cleaned more often. The comforters were not what I expected based on having stayed at the other two Marriott hotels in the area. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very quite, probably not the best for guests with children. However since there are so many things to do outside the hotel, children are okay. The restaurant in the hotel is not the best, but again with so many restaurants in the area, this is not a problem. There are three areas that make this quest write such words as above. 1) Smelly carpets; 2) limited parking; and 3) room decor (the comforters were thin and worn). These are three things that most people can live without. But for me, when I stay in a hotel with 2 1/2 stars or better, my expectations are much higher.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Theresa from Lake Forest, CA
“It was a nice hotel deserving of the 2.5 star rating. However, it was a bit of a walk from the Metro station. FYI, you can get to it mainly walking through the underground walkway/mall that connects the Metro to Crystal City Street or hail a taxi. Have 3 computers for guests to check e-mail. Close places to eat.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Metsy from Dearborn, MI
“Its an excellent location, clean, quite and the hotel staff is friendly and helpful.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Karl from Ft. Worth, TX
“Very nice upscale hotel. Easy access. New. Clean.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Barbara from Hanover, VA
“The room was small but well kept, however, the restaurant floors were dirty, sticky and the service was extremely poor. My dinner was incorrect and had I bitten into my food without looking would have ended up in the hospital. I specifically asked for no mayo on my food as I have medically cannot eat food with eggs and my food was covered with it. I went downstairs to order food and brought it back to my room. I discovered the mayo and contacted room service which had me get re-dressed and bring the food back to the restaurant and wait for more to be prepared. Most places would have retrieved the food and brought it back to me without me having to run up and down the hotel elevators fetching food myself. I also had transportation issues and waited upwards of 45 minutes for a shuttle.” Jun 1, 2008 by
Xiao from Rochester, MI
“1. My kid like this hotel very much, especially the pool and spa. 2. Convenient location, and free shuttle to subway. 3. Very clean and friendly staff. 4. Very good services.” May 31, 2008 by
Sadaf from New York, NY
“Great location if you have a car. If not, there is a free shuttle that runs to/from Metro and airport. They will also pick up at the Metro. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms and good price.” May 30, 2008 by
Jim from Virginia Beach, VA
“Outstanding hotel for the price. Good location for area - local food within several blocks.” May 25, 2008 by
David from Rochester, MN
“Great location. Friendly and efficient staff.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Neil from Herndon, VA
“Staff was very friendly, parking garage very secure, restaurant and bar was not open at all, slightly noisy due to airport, trains going by, but tolerable, room was clean, slightly modern room, not a big gift shop/snack shop.” Apr 19, 2008 by
Nancy from Sterling, NY
“I did not enjoy my stay. We were put in a 1 bedroom room with two people who needed 2 beds. The first option was a smoking room, no way! They gave us free parking for the problem, big deal when you didn't sleep!” Apr 17, 2008 by
Jane from Los Angeles, CA
“Location was right next to the airport (DCA). Free wireless and comfortable rooms. This hotel is perfect for someone passing through who values convenience over amenities.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Mike from Winchester, MA
“An average Courtyard Marriott, maybe a tad below average. Not bad but quite ordinary.” Nov 22, 2007 by
Mike from Youngsville, NC
“Convenient location. Very helpful staff. Easy parking, no hassles. Room was clean and comfortable. Short walk to restaurants, shops and subway.”
