• As a runner I loved the fact it was by a running trial by the Potomac River.
• The presence of homeless people outside.

• Business center, coffee shop, room service.
• Parking, low ceilings, common balcony, privacy.

“Common areas are nice, rooms need updating. Ceilings are low, feels confining. Disney channel would be nice. Toilet very loud and the bathroom is small. Little privacy on balcony. AC unit loud. Parking too expensive.”

• The staff was outstanding by being welcoming and answering questions.
• The design of the toilet paper holder is not in easy reach, does not dispense easily.

“It is within walking distance of the Metro and 1 pm checkout and 24 hour parking (even after checkout) allows time to go to the museums the afternoon after a stay.”

• Friendly staff-the facilities were nice but each staff member we encountered went out of their way to assist us.
• Parking! The fee is not as high as some others but cramped spaces make it difficult for larger vehicles.

• Good location to DC, walking distance to DC subway, nice hotel bar with good food.
• Very small bathroom, $17 a night to park which doesn't really bother me but some will find it annoying.

“Nice hotel overall, staff was very friendly and helpful. $17/night parking charge is never a good thing but they have their own covered garage with plenty of spaces, and it isn't valet which I loved. We didn't actually eat at the hotel restaurant but we sat at the bar and got food made by the restaurant and it was excellent.”

• Outdated, unfriendly help, not clean, hard to find parking.

“When we checked in we had to circle the parking garage 4 times at 11:00 at night upon check in and wait for someone to pull out to find a parking place, and pay $17/night. The desk clerk offered no apology other than there was a wedding in the hotel that night. The ceiling vents above the shower were extremely dirty as well as many other parts of the room. Generally, the hotel was run down and older and in need of an update. They were doing some construction in the stairwell directly next to our room with drills and saws that started at 6:30/7:00 am every morning of our stay....it shook the walls to our room and was extremely loud. I was disappointed in this hotel.”

“It was a solid place to stay. The room was not too expensive and the location was convenient for using the Metro or walking across the bridge to Georgetown. Room was pretty standard and the bed was comfortable.”

• Cost of room was reasonable given the location.
• Hotel is in need of renovation.

“Marriott Key Bridge was a reasonably priced hotel. The hotel was in need of renovation once you reached the rooms. Lobby had the look of a 5 star facility and the rooms dropped off to a 3 at best. Bathroom looked renovated in some way, but old in others. The shared balconies were spooky. The secluded location of my room with easy access from the balcony by bad guys did not lead to a sense of security in the facility. Best comment is the price was reasonable.”

“Very well located in Arlington, just minutes from the metro. The room was very clean, with very nice decor. The hotel itself and the lobby was dated and had a musty smell to it which, fortunately, did not permeate the room. The room itself was a little small, especially the bathroom. The hotel staff however were friendly and accommodating to our needs.”

“The location is fantastic. Close to the subway, close to Georgetown, and the mall is a hop away. Also, it's a smoke free hotel (you can't open the windows so this is good). But, it is an older hotel that is not being looked after as well as it should. Drawer pulls were missing, the bathroom was slightly gritty, and the halls a bit worn. But the bedding was nice. It will be good to see how the upgrades affect it next year.”

“The hotel itself was very nice - there were some renovations going on so the lobby/first floor was disrupted. The room was very comfortable - good space, good bed and very clean. My only complaint was that I called from the Airport for a shuttle and was told it would arrive in 15-20 minutes and it never arrived.”

“Snotty, I recently stayed at a Doubletree in Crystal City 3 miles away and was treated like a king and the rooms and service were fabulous. All the Desk kept saying was sorry were under a remodel to all the customers in there Indian dialect which I could not understand. They should have given customers a break on overnight parking- 15.00 a night in a run down eye sore. Or free drink at the bar. Food was average green finger potatoes - I am in the produce business and food was old did not get sick though.”

• The setting, near the bridge in Georgetown, is amazing.
• Very large with long corridors and it's starting to show its age. Parking was rather expensive at $15 per night.

“Good location near Georgetown; easy to find and work from; rooms are very upscale, clean, modern, quiet and conducive to work from. Cannot understand why they charge for on property parking for their guests; internet services were extra charge which is totally annoying and petty. Only one restaurant which was very nice and good food. Very satisfied with hotel and amenities but did not appreciate all the extra charges of parking, internet service.”

• The service was terrific. The room keys didn't work and they sent someone up right away to assist.
• It was a little old and run down. Probably due to the area in wash dc. Also smoky room.

“This hotel is an excellent choice for business travelers. Good location in the city of Arlington. The hotel was older and a little rundown. Also the room must have been a smoking room because the odor was bad. Other than that, the food was good and the staff friendly.”
