• The exercise room was awesome!
• No pool! Would have loved to sit in a jacuzzi too.

• The staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the area.
• One of the three elevators wasn't working, so during peak hours there was often a long wait.

• Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Metro is right across the street.
• Typical hotel with outrageous cocktail, food and bottled water pricing.

• Modern room & appointments, very nice bathroom.
• Pillows were awful. Very uncomfortable, gave me a stiff neck each night.

• Very clean hotel. Great restaurant.
• Noise complaints were not addressed. No ice or vending machines on floors.

“This hotel has the potential to be a great hotel for Washington DC area but when we called the front lobby to complain about actual fist fights going on in the room next door, they were not addressed. We listened to fighting for two hours before I had to call the police. Also, each floor has a sign indicating that it has ice and vending machines located at ends of hallways. There are zero ice machines or vending machines. If you want ice you have to go to the 2nd floor only.”

• Friendliness, cleanliness and proximity to people we were visiting were perfect.
• It is not big deal but it is the only thing that I could say I did not like - You had to switch elevators from the parking garage to your room.

“I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.”

• The convenience to the metro.
• Te parking garage.

“It was fine, but our last day, we had to drop our daughter at the Nat'l airport, by 4:45 am. My husband went to get the car from the parking garage while my daughter & I waited out front. We waited forever (about 15 minutes), he never showed up. He could not leave the parking garage, and to make a long story short, I had to place my daughter in a taxi so she would not miss her plane.”

• I liked the location and the size of the room.
• Not many amenities; no pool, very expensive.

“Good location, metro is close by. Parking is very expensive, as is the restaurant. You can drop a weeks pay here. Not a child friendly hotel. No pool, only an exercise center. Very upscale and sleek. Everything costs. Business center has computers that you must pay for, parking is high, food is outrageous.”

• I thought the room was extremely art deco.
• The staff was very pretentious, and snooty. They weren't friendly at all.

“The hotel sits on a hill. The parking garage is awful. The actual hotel, is in a weird location. The interior is nice. The inside of the rooms are very nice. The service is not that great, they do not have a shuttle to the hotel. I do not think it reflected the Hyatt standard. I have stayed in Hyatt's before. This one was not one of the nicest, in reference to service.”

• The rooms and bathrooms look so modern and contemporary.
• The rooms did not have a microwave.

“The hotel was great. The rooms were very clean and modern. The rooms had everything I need expect for a microwave. It also had a very little refrigerator. Other than that, the plasma TV was great, bed was soft, and the bathroom was awesome.”

• Room was small, other than room service, hotel services and descriptions were non existent.

“Toilet overflowed upon our first use, they switched our room immediately, but did not offer anything to us for our troubles,IE. complimentary drink, free parking, or the service of a porter to move our belongings. Strictly business, front desk could have, yet didn't inform guests of the metro 3 day metro shut down, (pentagon station) to Alexandria.”

• The room was well equipped, with nice bath products.
• Front desk staff at check-in had a bit of an attitude.

“Wonderful location, parking garage was very hard to maneuver in, doorman didn't know how to get to a nearby location and didn't know how to look it up, and check-in person wasn't too friendly. Overall, the hotel was good and the room was very nice.”

• Parking garage narrow and very old.

“The hotel is under renovation but still not very crowded with construction materials and workers. The room is very clean and equipped with safe box, flat TV panel, and a refrigerator. Excellent and quality furniture, and lovely pillows.”

• Spacious, modern decor. Close to Metro station.

“Hotel was beautiful. Our only problem was a noisy neighbor. Walls seemed very thin. Hotel staff was very accommodating and changed our room to another floor where we were no longer bothered.”

• Perhaps location and view (Our room was in the 16th Floor).
• Room key was not working and we had to change it up to 4 times. Parking was small too.

“They charge 18$ for parking. This is a very good hotel with title, staff was polite, I would recommend it. Our room was very clean with good view.”

• Very pretty room.

“I was disappointed with a few things. My key wouldn't work after checking in, there was no room service menu in the room, and the hot water didn't really work-- I had a lukewarm shower. The standing shower wasn't really ideal for bathing my small child either. She got a sink bath (at least the water in the sink got warm enough).”

• Sheets were scratchy.

“This hotel is lovely and I will definitely recommend it! The only down side was that the sheets were not a high count cotton. I had to wrap my shirt around my pillow so I could sleep comfortably.”

• Parking was difficult to get to initially.

“Overall the hotel is beautiful. The outside is being worked on right now so there is scafolding up, but the inside is clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convienient to area restaurants, the metro,and downtown DC.”

• The room was very immaculate, I really liked the room.
• I didn’t like that it cost to park your car if you self park or valet park.

“The hotel was nice, it didn’t have an indoor pool, it appears as though they are changing some things, as to the extent of what they are doing to it, I'm unsure, but it didn’t have an indoor poor or Jacuzzi. Drinks were $2.50 and a little can of Pringles was $2.00 I thought it was right much.”
