• Location was fantastic.
• Some desk staff were friendly but others not. Breakfast was not included.

“This hotel was very reasonably priced with a short ride on the metro to all the historic and famous attractions Washington DC and area has to offer. Very clean!”

• Hotel is within two blocks of the DC Metro.

• Excellent location for vising Arlington and DC.
• Elevators were at times slow and no free breakfast.

“Friendly, helpful staff, nice rooms and comfortable beds (with nice new sheets and white comforter). We stayed on the riverside and had a balcony. They had free ample parking. Would stay here again.”

• Location was convenient. Short walk to Georgetown.

• It was very close to the airport and the Capitol area.
• The staff wasn't particularly friendly.

“Our visit was during the inauguration and the hotel was sold out. They offer a crib for my 3 yr old, 3.5 foot tall son - which he couldn't begin to fit in. The coffee shop staff was inexperienced - they couldn't make many of the items on their menu. I'd recommend it only for business travelers flying out of Reagan Airport next day - it is very close.”

• The linen helped with restful sleep.
• No microwave; had to use coffee shop which needed to be replaced.

“Hotel located near Metro which was great. No microwave in room although we did have a fridge. Sink kept stopping up, waste water took a long time to drain. Food was barely warm when received in the dining room.”

• Close to Georgetown university, good indoor pool, free parking.
• Parking garage was really tight, for coffee: one creamer, one sugar, stingy for two people.

“Good location for those visiting Georgetown University at a very good price, free parking, good indoor pool. Skimpy on the coffee service, but a great price nonetheless.”

• I was pleased with the motel and the stay, room was clean and room service food was good.
• Restaurant food was not good.

“We were very pleased with our stay with Holiday Inn Roslyn. The location was ideal and convenient to the memorials and Arlington Cemetery. Food at the restaurant was not very good but room service food was very tasty.”

• It was clean and very near to Roslyn Station.
• My kids wanted hot tub in swimming pool.

• Location and the staff.
• The restaurant on the 17th floor doesnt let you know prior to the breakfast that it will cost each person $14.95.

• Location to the Metro and other areas within short walking distance.
• Could use a fans in the bathroom. My wife complained about her hair going flat from the moisture.

“Great location to the Metro. Easy access to and from freeways. Within walking distance to several dining locations. Located in area that makes you feel safe to walk at anytime of day or night for a larger city. Free parking with stay.”

• Convenience to Metro, free parking.
• Very difficult to find.

“Once we found the hotel, we were comfortable. We had to ask for coffee supplies in our room to be replenished, and we thought the phone in our room was dead. In fact there were two phones and only one worked, the one that we didn't notice until later.”

• Had great access to the metro. Great views from the restaurant. Good breakfast.
• Didn't have a hotel shuttle to the airport. A new building is being put up rough outside our window. It was a bit noisy.

“Excellent access to the metro and so easy to get to all the sites and museums. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.”

• It was extremely convenient to the Metro.
• The bath tub drain was slow on the first day, fixed on second, but trouble again on third.

“The view from the restaurant on the top floor was beautiful, the front desk was helpful and friendly, and it was easy to get to the Metro and go into DC.”

• No refrigerator.

“Definitely paid for location, the room was a little small and could have used a refrigerator, microwave and counter space for the coffee maker instead of being tucked under the counter.”

• 2 Blocks from the Metro, Indoor Parking, Friendly Staff.
• Noise from landing and taking off aircraft to R. Regan Airport.

• I liked the location - it was only a short walk to the Metro, and we could see the fireworks from the pedestrian walkway across the street.
• Our room smelled a little musty, our balcony on the 3rd floor had trash on it and no view.

“This hotel is great for travelers who need to get over to Washington, DC for business or sightseeing. The Metro is very close and it is inexpensive and efficient with trains coming every few minutes. There are several restaurants and fast food within walking distance and great coffee at Tivoli just a block away. The hotel had friendly and helpful staff.”

• I liked the location and view of my room.
• I didn't like the fact I didn't have a refrigerator in my room to keep cold water and things.

• Fabulous view and very good service at restaurant.
• Breakfast was good except for the bacon. It was mostly raw! I had a long black hair in my dinner salad, mine is short grey.

“Adequate for a two star hotel. It is obviously an old building and the rooms show it, carpet was old, bathroom floor old. Still it was reasonably comfortable, reasonably clean. I did not like the requirement that I fill out an application for membership to some "club" in order to get the breakfast. Either the breakfast is "complimentary" or it is not. The location for travelers using Reagan Airport can't be beat.”
