• The bedding was exceptional. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in in a hotel. Slept in many.
• Undisclosed parking charges.

“Staff was excellent. Personal and attentive. Joseph made our stay an experience we will remember fondly. Nice room but should offer free internet access. Location is excellent for access to college and Georgetown attractions. Bedding was premier. Enjoyed our stay.”

“The hotel doesn't met my expectations for the star level. I think it is about 2.5 star level. The desk clerk is not friendly. I don't like this hotel very much.”

• The location was really bad, you could not find it.

“This hotel was very nice, the bathrooms were a bit dated. The staff was great, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The location of this hotel is very bad, and almost impossible to find. I got lost coming and going.”

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. My only complaint is that it definitely doesn't include much. No continental breakfast or even coffee and as mentioned above, the parking was rather expensive as was internet access. I'm used to receiving free Wi-Fi at most places I stay. However, the room was very nice and the hotel was very clean. Workout facility is a plus as is the location right on Georgetown University's campus.”

• Hotel was clean, cheap and convenient.
• Hotel was no-frills and in the middle of a giant hospital complex.

“The hotel wasn't very luxurious, but it was cheap and clean. The staff was helpful, and I was able to enjoy a weekend in D.C. without breaking the bank. Also, the toiletries provided by the hotel were fantastic.”

• Very clean and attractive hotel on the inside, updated rooms and helpful staff.
• It was difficult to find, and the location wasn't great.

“Although the location wasn't perfect, it was still relatively convenient (albeit a little farther out than I liked), and for the price, the rooms were excellent. The hotel staff was also helpful and friendly.”

• Clean and well located within Georgetown.
• It was in the midst of a Hospital Complex, in front of the Cancer Center. Hard to find.

“It was a perfectly acceptable hotel with clean room and friendly staff. However, it was tucked in the back of the Georgetown University, Hospital Complex, in front of the Cancer Center. Not the most upbeat place. However, with a car, it was easy to navigate to M Street for a nice night out.”

• Very small room.

“Good choice for folks needing to be close to Georgetown U and Georgetown medical center. Though located in Georgetown, not really close to anything worth walking to. The hotel was out of the way with views of rooftops of other buildings, while not unattractive the setting wasn't particularly interesting or what a tourist might expect. Very clean, very nice personnel.”

• The staff were very attentive but I had problems with the room.
• Heater broken first two days.

• Rooms were very comfortable.

“The rooms and public areas of this hotel were impeccably clean. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The location was convenient for business in Georgetown or elsewhere in DC if a taxi were to be the travelers mode of travel.”

• Location, mediocre accommodations, not recommended for leisure travelers.

“This is a hotel for conference attendees or those needing medical attention from Georgetown university. The location is not convenient to shopping or restaurants. Rooms are not particularly well appointed and the facilities smell of smoke.”

• Staff helpful and pleasant. Faculty dining room convenient and the staff very warm and friendly.
• The $25. Parking fee on weekdays. They need a sign at street entrance; it was hard to locate actual building behind the hospital buildings.

“Nice campus location attached to facility where college kids hang out. Friendly and helpful staff. Georgetown field house with ample fitness equipment a short walk away ($10 fee).”

“Quiet, cozy, and comfortable, with a staff eager to please. The food was good, but not great. The bed was extremely comfortable. Joe, the bellman, was a great host. If not for the location, which was out of the way from most of dc, and public transportation, this would be a great place to stay for the value, comfort, and friendliness.”

• One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.
• $10 a day for internet access is appalling.

“It was a perfectly nice place, especially for the low cost. The staff was excellent, and the room was very nice, as long as you didn't notice the occasional paint chip or water-stained lamp shade. Best bed ever, though, and the shower was great. Marriott overcharges for a lot, though, and I was appalled that internet access was $10 a day. And not even wireless. There's no excuse for that, especially since it was on a wired college campus.”

“At first, I didn't really care for the hotel, because it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. The Georgetown Hospital was right across the driveway. I soon realized what a really great location this was. It was a short walk through campus to M street. The University shuttle made getting to DC metro very easy and convenient.”

• The hotel is fantastic very plush room clean and comfortable. A great place to stay to explore Georgetown.
• No convenient metro stop nearby. Staff not knowledgeable on how to get to tourist destinations with help of hotel/ campus transportation.

“The hotel is great. If your goal is to explore Georgetown, this is a great choice. However, if you will be going back and forth to tourist destinations in dc, this may not be the hotel for you. It is important to know that there is not a metro stop that is convenient to this hotel. You can still get around through a combination of campus transportation and city bus both of which are reasonably priced and convenient. But if you want to hop on and off of the metro, know that that will not be possible from the Georgetown area.”

“The hallways are dirty and old; the only thing that is upscale is the bedding. TV reception was poor, no mini fridge, internet was pay per use, not free in lobby. I felt ripped off. Parking was $25 per day.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The location was not easily accessible. The entrance was behind the hospital and really not convenient to town ($18 taxi ride).

• Had a star bucks and crispy crème, although they closed early.
• No water first night of stay, not close to anything, hard to get around.

“Although the hotel was Marriott, it did not meet the same expectations of other Marriotts I have stayed in, including the courtyard and airfields. The water was off the first night of our stay, and the hotel had no reasonable breakfast facilities. It was on Georgetown campus and difficult to navigate. Would not recommend to families w/kids or seniors. A lot of walking was involved. Room as clean and attended to although it was said to have a fridge, none were in room and ice maker did not work.”

• Very hard to find the hotel as it was hidden behind Georgetown hospital.

• Run down appearance and no parking.

“Staff and shuttle was wonderful, but the building was run-down and hard to find; also, there are few close places to eat during off-peak meal hours (there are no places on the weekend). Bed was extremely comfortable. On our last day, the water was turned off without notice. When I asked the front desk about the problem, the young woman said that it was a scheduled outage--something about which none of the guests was informed.”

“This hotel was nice, once we actually found it. It's behind the Georgetown hospital, actually on the Georgetown campus, but there are no signs, so we had a really hard time finding it. But then it was nice to be on the quiet side of Georgetown.”

“One of the worst 3 star hotels. Location was bad, being in the middle of campus. Very hard to find. Luckily it was a holiday time, and not many students around, or I wouldnt have found parking spots.”

• If you are interested in the Georgetown campus, it's perfect.
• Parking was awful. 25.00 a day, location so far off the road was tough.

“Nice place but the location at Georgetown hospital cancer center and so far off the road made it very difficult to get around. Also closest metro stop was 25 minutes walking distance away from hotel.”

• I liked that is was part of Georgetown University.
• Parking was nothing short of a nightmare!

“Great stay. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the beds were very comfortable, and I got to see a bit of Georgetown University. I did not like the internet being $10 a day going from noon to noon (not when you cut it on), and parking was $25 a night so you don't really save on the room. I had to park far, far away and even got a parking ticket because I was confused by one of the signs.”

• Friendly people, nice quiet room.
• Not convenient to downtown dc and there is a lot of traffic to get there.

“Nice hotel but it was a good thing we had brought our bicycles with us. It is on the Georgetown campus and if your business is elsewhere there is no metro service and a lot of traffic to get to downtown dc. It is even a good walk to downtown Georgetown. However, with a bicycle, it is a nice ride to the C & O canal trail and then to downtown.”

“Cool location on the edge of Georgetown campus and convenient access to food, plus a hospitable staff. However, the room did not have a refrigerator, the TV reception was quite poor and the bathroom was not at all what a "3 star" hotel should offer. There was mildew, torn wallpaper and the sink-to-shower area was cramped and small.”

• Very expensive parking. No public transportation.

“This hotel is located on the GT University campus, away from the main arteries in the city. The hotel can not be seen from the street address given, as it sits behind a hospital and other academic building. Parking is very expensive in the University owned ramp and there are no other options. (Street parking is not allowed during early morning rush hour.) I felt completely cut off from the city while out here at this hotel. Also, there were 4 lights burned out in the bathroom and one lamp in the living room. There were several channels on the TV that didn't work. One out of 2 elevators was shut down for renovations.”
