• 2 blocks from metro station, shopping and restaurants all around safe and secure area staff was great.
• No pool but otherwise no complaints.

“This hotel is in a great location. It is 2 blocks (walking distance) to the Metro station which will take you into Washington DC so you can leave your car at the hotel or park it at the Metro station. There is shopping within walking distance and more shopping and restaurants within a very short drive. Hotel staff AWESOME.”

• The room decor was beautiful. It was very upscale with beautiful furniture, a plush robe, and comfortable bed.
• The location of the parking lot was a little unnerving. Being a woman and by myself, I was nervous about going to get the car in the parking lot.

“The staff were friendly, and the rooms were just beautiful. Every modern amenity that you would need from an iHome, a plush bathrobe, beautiful furniture, desk, and chair with ottoman was available. Even the soaps and shampoos were really nice from Bath and Body works. I slept very comfortably.”

• Staff was quick to respond to our needs.
• No TV guide as to what the channels were. NBC vs CBS vs ABC etc.

“Room was cozy and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was quick to respond to our needs. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a disappointment.”

• Fresh apples in the lobby were crisp and lovely after a day of sightseeing.
• The elevators are a bit wonky. It wound up being very annoying after the second day.

• Comfortable bedding, updated decoration, business center and
  friendly staff.
• Room is too small, crib is shaky.

“We had a two double bedroom, which was very small since we have 3 adults and a baby. Staffs were very friendly. Walls are thin, so expect noises from your neighbors. Bedding is very soft and comfortable. Furniture and decor is modern. Flat screen TV.”

• Parking lot is dark and relatively far from the hotel.

“My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Washington D.C. while staying at the Legacy Hotel. The parking lot was a bit dark and kind of far from the hotel, but other than that it is a nice place to stay. Especially, the restaurant on the first floor is excellent!”

“Great value! New hotel with a great staff. We stayed here fours days. Room was well furnished and comfortable. Wireless is free. When passing the front desk, we were always greeted with a pleasant comment from the staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“I was extremely pleased with this hotel! The staff was super professional and friendly (even at a fairly late hour of arrival). The rooms were luxurious and very clean. The beds and pillows were also very, I mean very comfortable. When I got home I had to go out and buy new pillows that were more like those at the legacy. If ever in this area again, I would definately stay there.”

• The room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. Very thankful this was a non-smoking facility.
• The parking was free, but not very convenient to the hotel. Located in an adjacent parking garage.

“This hotel is undergoing renovation and will supposedly change its name, possibly ownership, in February 2008. We stayed on a floor which had not been renovated yet, with noisy neighbors and a barrage of slamming doors from guests and hotel staff. Isn't there some way doors in hotels could be prevented from being slammed? Rooms could be sound-proofed better? What good is the nicest decor, the most comfortable bed, if one is kept away by noise?”

• Fire alarm broke room lots of noise late because of this. Bug man spraying the room while I was in it.

• I loved the king sized bed for a single bed !
• They were less than stellar with their room service.

“Over all this is a nice place to stay if it isn't raining. They do not have a connection from parking to the hotel, so if it is raining, expect to get wet.”

• Unbeatable location. Room larger than expected.
• I have no complaints but would have loved a kitchenette.

“The hotel met or exceeded all of my expectations and the location cannot be beat. Tons of restaurants on Rockville Pike many in walking distance. Having the Metro so close by makes access to DC a breeze.”

• Nothing - front desk people not helpful.
• They removed some of my clothes from room immediately after 12 noon.

“While on business at NIH, I was unable to get back by check-out time; hence they removed some of my clothes. When I asked where the remainder of cloths, they did not want me to return to the room. They threatened to call Security if I did not leave. Someone stole my new I-Pod-HP when they put me out. I will never stay at Ramada again.”

• Very convenient to the Metro Station and to many restaurants
• Shower was noisy and shower heads were too low.

“Staff was helpful and flexible. Free onsite parking and Metro station within walking distance made our commute into DC very easy and convenient. Rooms appeared newly remodeled and clean. There was a wide selection of ethnic and American fare restaurants within a mile of the hotel.”

• It was not too expensive.
• Not in Bethesda where I wanted to be and the cab never showed up after 2 hours.

“Didn't even stay the night. The whole reason to get the hotel was so I didn't have to drive all the way home after the reunion. Waited 2 hours for a cab one never showed up, and the hotel was not much of a help. So we drove to the reunion came back and checked out because I had to drive anyways. Very disappointed in this hotel not very helpful or convenient. The first experience was great.”

“The place is under construction and extremely messy right now. Bell man would not come out to the taxi to get luggage. Room is meagerly furnished and very dimly lit. Not worth the money.”

• I liked the proximity to the Metro and the cleanliness of the hotel.
• No parking! My car was blocked in by another and the other car owner could not be found.

“The hotel in itself was clean and in a good location with the Metro right across the street. However, there are only 8 parking spots for this 7 story hotel. During my stay, at one point I wanted to leave for a meal and when I got to my car, I noticed I was blocked in by another car. I told the staff and they tried locating the owner of the other car. They could not. Eventually, I was able to squeeze out of the spot. Somehow, this hotel needs to increase its parking capacity, but there's no space to do it.”
