“The hotel met my needs for a safe, comfortable, and Jul 25, 2008 by
Ken from Willard, OH
“This was basically somewhere to stay for the night, so we weren't there very long. After arriving early evening, we still needed to eat. There is a McDonald's next door but we were looking for a family restaurant. Unable to find anything after driving for ten minutes, we finally went to a Subway across the street. We couldn't go swimming because by that time the pool had closed. I still, however, would recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast probably had the biggest selection of any on our trip. And I loved the waffles I made on the waffle maker. Delicious! I would recommend this hotel to business travelers and families doing DC.” May 29, 2008 by
Dawn from Houston, TX
“We were very impressed with its cleanliness and with the quality of the breakfast. It was also very quiet. Complimentary newspapers were a plus. Very friendly staff.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Jerry from Kresgeville, PA
“It was a disappointment from the room that was dirty to non-working air conditioning which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. The windows didn't open, so it was very warm. No premium channels on TV i.e. HBO, etc. Continental breakfast had two non working toasters and really stale food.” Mar 12, 2008 by
Vivian from Annandale, VA
“First time in my life in the U.S, I've seen a room as terrible as this one. Bathroom has no tub, just shower stand with no door, no divider, nothing to prevent water from flooding the whole bathroom floor. After one shower, the floor was overflowed with water. The carpet area outside at the AC unit was soaking wet, red carpet was blacken because of water absorbent since very long ago. Bed was creaking by just seating on it.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Andrea “The hotel was clean. The carpet was a little dirty and it looked like the wallpaper was coming off one of the walls in the room. They did provide transportation to the metro station and provided breakfast in the morning.” Jul 6, 2007 by
Aaron from Horseheads, NY
“Great economy-scale hotel near Washington attractions. Shuttle service to Metro was a great plus, and this service is what makes my stay there again an almost definite. Good selection of quick breakfast items served, clean facility, and friendly staff.” May 8, 2007 by
Joey from Florence, AL
“Good hotel for the price and convince to o.k. Area.” Feb 12, 2007 by
Pg from Silver Spring, MD
“Hotel was basic. Mostly clean, stained rug, musty smell. Difficulty with internet. There was phone number to call to get connected but after leaving I had trouble reconnecting at home. Breakfast was good. Plenty of healthy choices and ready by 6 am. People were very friendly and helped whenever possible. ” Dec 10, 2006 by
Jeff from North Merrick, NY
“The room was much bigger and more comfortable than I expected. It was a bit cold when I arrived but the heat came on very quickly once I adjusted the temperature, which was nice. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable and relaxing which was a huge benefit for the purpose of my trip.” Apr 14, 2006 by
Lon from Columbus, OH
“This place is ok at best, don't expect much.” Jul 18, 2005 by
John from Laguna Niguel, CA
“Location is good and convenient with the price being great! Breakfast was very average and the fooms were cheap looking. No HBO or other premium tv options. Pool was ok.” Nov 11, 2004 by
“The first room I was in smelled strongly of a new shower curtain, a very chemical smell. Asked to be moved, I ended up in a room with a very noticeable musty smell. The carpet was stained, there was mold underneath the soap dish in the shower. Since I worked in the room past 2 pm, I never received housekeeping services, they leave at 2pm. I left behind my small, flat cell phone charger. I was offered that it would be mailed to me cod at a cost of about $30, arriving in 10-15 days. A friend in the area had to go and retrieve it for me. This hotel is to be avoided.” Hotel Representatives:
