• It was clean, comfortable and friendly.
• Did not have a restaurant only a breakfast buffet.

• Handy shuttle to metro station.

“A great stay for the price in the DC, Vicinity. A handy shuttle to the Shady Grove Metro station connects you to DC if you don't mind a train ride. It was a 40 minute ride to the Convention Center in the middle of downtown. Very clean and quiet, nice rooms. Typical complimentary breakfast (biscuits and gravy, waffles, donuts, scrambled eggs, etc.) Exceptionally polite and helpful staff.”

• Close to the Metro with Shuttle Service.
• Free Breakfast, Cramped Area, Messy.

“The stay was as expected. This is a typical Comfort Inn and as long as you remember the type of accommodations you requested your needs will be met. The shuttle service to the metro is a fine added feature when viewed as a perk for the price.”

• Clean, well appointed.
• Game system in room listing misleading-no mention of cost.

“The hotel met my expectations. The only disappointment was the Game system was Not listed as a pay as you go item, but was listed as available which made us believe it was included in the room rate.”

• There is a guest useable laundry room.
• Heat pump in room was very noisy.

“All in all, a nice, clean, motel. Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean. Heat pump in the room was VERY noisy when it kicked on, but only ran about 10 minutes at a time. Room also had mini-fridge in it, which was convenient. I would stay here again.”

• The hotel had quick elevators. Plenty of seating for breakfast.
• Poor layout for business traveler.

“The room was poorly laid out for a business traveler. Desk between beds had my back to TV. Could not work and follow news. Power outlet blocked by desk. No good for laptop user. Room was Non-smoking but room and towels smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Took two or three minutes for hot water in shower, hot and cold settings not marked. Microwave and fridge but not utensils or dishes. Okay for a night but not for a week long business trip.”

• Loved the art work, pillows and bed. Good shower.
• In the evening coffee was not fresh.

• Just about everything.
• I had initial trouble hooking up to the 'net.

“I booked over the net when I learned that the hotel at a dc conference I attended was fully booked, as was an alternative. I was delighted with this comfort inn. Staff was "friendly, clean, courteous and kind." went out of their way to help me. Immaculate room and incredibly complete breakfast and I saved a ton of money.”

• Complimentary breakfast, outstanding helpful staff, and discounts at local restaurants.
• Air conditioner was difficult to operate. Shower drain clogged.

“The cheerful and helpful staff, breakfast, discounts, and location, mitigated the "adequate" room. Overall, I would recommend, and stay again.”
