• Refrigerator in room and pleasant staff.
• Bed bugs.

“Do not stay in room 224, It has bed bugs. I have over 100 bites all over my body. The staff was very sympathetic and say that they will pay for my dry cleaning and refund the money for one of the four nights I was there. However, I am miserable from all this itching and terrified that I will infect my own apartment with bed bugs and I therefore cannot recommend that anyone stay in this hotel.”

• The hotel exceeded my expectations.
• A fire alarm at midnight.

“The hotel really exceeded my expectations. For a supposedly moderate hotel, it was actually nicer than some more expensive hotels in which I have stayed.”

• Room was clean, hotel staff was helpful and courteous.
• The AC/heat made a terrible racket.

“The front desk staff was very nice and when one of the vending machines ate my money, the front desk reimbursed me, no questions asked. The room was clean, but the TV had a very fuzzy picture (very old) and almost unmatchable, it needs to be replaced. The AC/heat unit made a terrible racket every time it came on and needed to be repaired or replaced.”

• The room rate.
• My room was extremely noisy.

“I was in the first room outside of the dining area. I believe the kitchen area was on the other side of the wall. Where the hotel staff does the laundry was across from my room. There was a generator or some machine making a loud notice about every 20-45 minutes. It was extremely loud. I could hear the water pipes making noise through the walls also. They were loud also.”

• Continental Breakfast was good. Although, they did run out of some items before the end of breakfast.
• The bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned. The toilet seat was disgusting.

“Staff was helpful. Easy access to the metro. Contrary to what I read on the website, they do not provide free shuttle service to the metro on weekends. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived. Not sure if I will give this hotel another chance.”

• The hotel was convenient and the coffee in the room was great!
• Our room smelled of smoke for our entire stay and we were supposed to be in a nonsmoking room. The key didn't work.

“We liked the Sleep Inn because we were close to many interests. The food and shopping was convenient as was Washington D.C. The value was great too.”

• The day manager was very helpful and friendly.
• There was no restaurant or snack bar on site.

“It was a pleasant hotel, very safe. The drivers to the Metro were informative and courteous (very helpful. It was our second choice and as such it met out expectations. To eat dinner or supper you had to leave the hotel property( a definite minus).”

• Courtesy Shuttle to Metro and local restaurants is great!!
• We had on desk clerk who was quite rude and abrupt.

“Very clean and well managed facility with high speed Internet, and a nice continental breakfast provided.”

• You cant get a receipt if you pre-pay through the web.

• Good basic amenities, budget minded.
• Continental breakfast was mostly carbs, no protein.

“Good basic hotel, room had coffeemaker, iron, fridge, TV with basic cable, a/c. Staff took 30 minutes to solve a plugged toilet first thing in morning, but did the task. Would stay again.”

• I mostly like that this was a quiet hotel and the price was right!
• The receptionist was a little rough around the edges.

“I would stay here again, I would recommend to friends. The place was nice and I felt safe traveling with another female friend. The place was clean. I stayed in a room on the first floor not far from the main entry way and it stayed very quiet at night.”
