• Very well appointed rooms. Layout makes it perfect for business or leisure travel.
• It would only be improved by hotel room service, and maybe a faster elevator.

“I enjoyed my stay at the Springhill Suites by Marriott very much. The rooms are well appointed, with a living room-office-kitchen area separate from the bedroom area, which would make it perfect not only for business travelers, but also leisure travelers. The staff is very friendly, and all the common areas of nicely decorated and well maintained.”

“I was more than pleased with this well laid out suite which my daughter and I stayed in. We didn't have to ask for anything; everything worked well and was immaculate. That is my most important priority. They had a nice pool and work out room. The morning free breakfast was wonderful; pastries, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruit, assorted juices and milks, yogurts, waffles, eggs and sausage.”

• The staff was courteous and helpful even at 12:15 a.m. They even printed directions for my meeting.

“The hotel was convenient to the location where the meeting I was attending held. The restaurant food was just what I needed before heading out to my 8:30 a.m. meeting. The stay at a very nice hotel at a great price, helped set the tone for the full day of meetings I was to attend. I might visit the hotel again just for a weekend get-away with my wife! Thanks for the restful, quiet experience!”

• The fridge, microwave and sink was great.
• Breakfast was to late for me to try - I leave at 6, it started at 6.

“Overall, it was fine, but not what you come to expect from a Marriott property. Somewhat nice but the furniture was older and worn, lighting was poor.”

• I liked the ambience, facilities for a moderate 2.5 Star, TVs for kids and parents separate, coffee maker.
• I was distracted by the movement by housekeeping outside the door. But that is just a distraction, not a concern.

“The best to fit for a 2.5 star. Ample car parking space, good reception, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, two TVs, road side view, bill settlement to the room.”

• Huge space, fridge and microwave, very clean, wonderful staff.
• Every thing was perfect.

“Love this hotel! Great location near restaurants and stores. Staff was very professional and got us rooms together and met all of our requests. Room was huge with great work space, fridge, and microwave. Housekeeping was fantastic, didn't miss a spot which is so important when traveling with an infant. Provided a crib. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Huge selection and free! This was one of my favorite hotel stays. Every thing was perfect!”

• This hotel is very well kept. I would comfortably recommend it to any traveler.
• The only thing that wasn't available was on site room service, but the hotel offered an off site room service which worked just as well.

“This is a very comfortable hotel. The off site room service was a first for me. The food I ate was good and the service really quite quick. My whole experience with this hotel was positive.”

• Clean friendly well light helpful staff over all a great place to stay.
• Non smoking had to go out to smoke but it was worth it because of all the pluses.

“It was very clean, the staff was great, rooms are very clean; breakfast had great selection you could see the pride and effort the staff took to make guest comfortable.”

“I had a bad experience with this hotel the last time I stayed there, but this time changed my mind. It has clean, comfortable rooms with a microwave and fridge & a sitting area as well as a nice pool, spa and work out room and a free breakfast.”

• Elevator was very slow and TV remote was not working.

“I did like the hotel. It was very nice and clean. They have free breakfast and free internet. The hotel exceeds my expectation for the star level 2.5 it should be three stars. The business center is not that much. It was very simple with a slow keyboard.”

• Nice rooms, clean, pool, and spa.
• They cancelled our reservations after we checked in and locked us out of our room.

“Some of the staff is great, but some are brain-dead. Continental breakfast was supposed to last until 10 a.m., but we were chased away at 8:55 a.m. By a /non-English speaking staff member. When we told the front desk, they said we must be mistaken and wouldn't even check it out. Other guests had to complain before they would do something. Then they locked us out of our room and told us our reservation had been cancelled even though our credit card number had been taken for incidentals. So the room was never cleaned by housekeeping while we were there, because as far as they were concerned we weren't.”

“We have stayed at this location twice now, and the service has been phenomenal both times. The rooms are kept spotless, the hotel is smoke-free (which we absolutely love) the pool and hot tub are great and the breakfast buffet is always top notch.”

• The free breakfast was wonderful!
• We stayed in a handicap room so there was very little counterpace in the bathroom.

“The hotel is conveniently located. It has some great amenities like a free continental breakfast (which is a lot more than juice and pastries!), a pool and a small store with snacks and a few other things. There was nothing fancy about it but it was a good, basic hotel with friendly staff and clean, comfortable surroundings.”

• The location of this hotel was 15 min. Away from my business appointment.
• The room was very clean, but the bathroom/tub could have been cleaner.

“Overall, our stay at Springhill suites was pleasant & comfortable. I was only 15 min. From downtown Rockville. I would happily stay at Springhill suites again in the future and would recommend this hotel to others.”

• One of the best laid out rooms I¿ve stayed in, and quality bedding makes it even better.
• Difficult access, especially in afternoon and evening.

• When I arrived and asked the clerk for a king size bed and smoking room, she did her best to accommodate Free breakfast too.
• My partner did not like the mirror on the wall near the foot of the bed.

“Very clean and well kept hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was large and well equipped. A very nice indoor pool and exercise room. Breakfast was plentiful and good and free.”

• A little hard to find the first time, but called the hotel and they directed me with no problems.

“Excellent rooms and service. Great breakfast buffet. Loved the room, very comfortable just short on samples. I don't need them, but my church wants them for the homeless. Highly recommend!!”

• Maybe a nit picking but the TV could have used more channels + a guide.

• The facilities for their continental breakfast were very nice. Other hotels I've stayed at offer little room for guests to sit down.
• I had problems retrieving a voice mail message as their system wasn't working properly.
