• I did not like anything about this hotel.
• The staff was rude and not helpful.

“This hotel ruined my trip to Maryland. They did not give us the room requested. The staff was rude and made no attempt to make us comfortable, they moved us to a room with a broken air conditioner and the sheets were wet. The staff did not seem to care at all about making any of it better.”

“Great for family vacation. Rooms are clean. Front desk was friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The parking lot was well lighted and ample spaces. Definitely would stay again.”

• Comfortable bed and nice room. Nice breakfast buffet, but a bit pricey.
• It was farther from the D.C. area than we wanted to be. Also could not get WIFI in room.

“This hotel had very helpful staff. It was clean and well cared for. The rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed for a 2-1/2 star hotel. I felt very comfortable staying there. It was also well located near a mall and restaurants.”

• I liked that there was a fully equipped exercise room, pool, whirlpool, and steam room.
• There was no refrigerator and stove/oven.

“This hotel was very convenient to public transportation (although I had to walk about 5 block after midnight b/c no bus was going near the door, no fault of this hotel). The exercise room was great and the pool. Whirlpool and steam room were a great treat.”

• I was very impressed with the amenities of the hotel. These were very important to me.
• I wish that breakfast was complimentary or included in the price of the hotel, as it is in others I stayed in.

“I had a hotel clerk (an east Indian woman) who would not place anything (keycard, pen, credit card) in my hand when it was extended for her to do so. I think it is her culture not to place items in the hands of patrons, but it is considered rude in our culture. I receive the utmost in courtesy and respect from the hotel staff. They were most accommodating with every request.”

• Liked everything.

“This was one of the best hotel stays I've ever experienced. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was very convenient, and most of all, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I was greeted by the desk clerks every time I entered and exited the hotel. They called shortly after I got to my room to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I wish I could have stayed more than three days. I was getting spoiled!”

• The room was large and the furnishing was up to date.
• Elevators were not user friendly. If you didnt act quickly it was ready to chop your hand off.

“I liked this hotel okay, but the interior of the rooms could be updated. Everything looked one step above a super 8 motel. It was clean, but I would have liked to feel as though I was staying in a more luxurious setting.”

• They offered hotel shuttle rides to my business meeting and to dinner as well.
• The exercise room was very limited and had uninviting atmosphere.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful! I don't see that much anymore. I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle to/from dinner, the train station, and my meeting the next day, as this hotel was pretty isolated in the suburbs.”

• No hot water on either morning -- boiler broke!

“This was perfect for me -- a writing weekend in isolation. But the hotel was jam-packed with 12 to 14 year old boys who took over the elevators, hallways, and showers (which caused the boilers to break and strand the rest of us with no hot water until after noon on both days!). But we were given a voucher for a free breakfast. The breakfast area was unmanageable because of the size of the crowd. Impossible to get near the food most of the time!”

• No hand lotion provided in bathrooms.

“Reliable like all Marriott courtyards I¿ve stayed in--nice front-desk people; clean, pleasant rooms, colorful--nice decor, nice beds. I would not pay the full price, which is obviously for corporate business travelers with expense accounts.”

• No business center with computer access.

“This hotel was so convenient to everywhere I needed to go on this trip. The hotel staff faxed papers for me and was super friendly. The room was big and clean. The only downside was that there was not a business center with a computer I could use in the hotel I needed my own laptop which I didn't have.”

“Hotel had an excellent, friendly staff and was about 30 minutes away from any of the airports. Internet service was fast and easy to use. 24 hour supermarket was a 5 minute walk down the street. Would stay there again.”

• Rigid reservation.

“Located in busy, sprawling commercial area, densely packed with businesses (retail and offices). Marriott provides a decent quality property and this specific hotel property provides quality that matches the quality expected from a Marriott. This is not a "top" jewel Marriott property, but provides a reasonably safe-seeming hotel with good accommodations for a business traveler. No restaurant (except breakfast) so you'll need to go out to eat or get a snack or two from a tiny vending area located near the hotel entrance.”

“This hotel has been refurbished about a year ago. It is now all non-smoking, which is quite a relief. One shortcoming - no way to get fresh air as all windows are sealed hermetically. The fans setting on the HVAC unit is inefficient and makes noise, of course.”

• We had a balcony which was nice.
• We had a few problems finding the motel, kind of out of the way.
