• Large, spacious rooms with good soundproofing.
• Exorbitant rates for phone calls and computer use.

“A beautiful business hotel located near Tysons Corner Mall. It has free parking and a beautiful heated pool and a 24 hour well stocked exercise room. My only complaint is the outrageous fees for local calls and for use of the computers in the business center. The staff was cordial and the bar had great food at a reasonable price.”

• The room was great, very spacious compared to most hostels.
• The grounds outside of the hotel were very much covered with litter, allot of it from people just dumping trash onto the parking lot and grounds.

“We liked the hotel itself very much. Great big room, comfortable, friendly staff. One drawback was they had a music band one night and the people who attended the bands show also booked a room at the hotel. When the show was over, the people going to their rooms were very noisy. This kept people like us awake at 2:00 am. The hotel should keep these people in rooms far away separately I would think from the rest of the guests at the hotel.”

• I like the location in Tysons corner. But think it should be considered a 2 star hotel.
• The restaurant is only open until 5pm.

• Food was surprisingly delicious.
• Walls were so thin I heard conversations, etc.

“The overall experience was good except that the showers made noise; can hear when neighbors showered. Also, the walls were so thin I could hear neighbors in their rooms or in the hallway talking, laughing, making love, etc.”

“This hotel was in a good location. Close to a nice mall and movie theater. Also just 30 minutes away by metro from the sights of Washington. Employees were very helpful with directions, etc.”

• Parking in the evening was horrible!

“The Sheraton premiere at Tyson corner is a lovely hotel. We stayed on the top floor and the view of the city was fabulous. The room was very nicely decorated, very clean, and the bed was very comfy. The only complaint I had been parking. We went out for dinner and when we came back around 9 every spot in the lot was taken, every spot on the street was taken. Several cars were in the same situation, circling the lot hoping for a spot. We had to park a block away from the hotel.”

• Privacy accommodated, and needs met with expediency.
• Nonfunctional bathroom fan and ventilation, some of the hotel under remodeling.

“My wife and I went to the Sheraton for a weekend getaway. The parking was ok, but not ample. It would have been great if the restaurant was full service on the weekends. There is a great assortment of restaurants in nearby Wolftrap.”

• The helpfulness of the desk staff.
• The service in the restaurant could have been better. Concierge service was questionable.

“I spent 5 nights with 3 rooms for my brothers and me and was treated right. Staff worked hard to meet our requests and needs. Some staff appeared to be in training so they could be even better soon. One of the concierges was very hard to understand and spent too much time talking to a co working in loud voices. Not good.”

• The luxuries feel for an economical price. The lobby is really divine.
• Front desk service was great, but the other service was a bit rude even though I tipped.

“The hotel is a luxurious one conveniently located about 20 minutes from dc. I got terribly lost trying to find it at night, however. The room was fantastic. Everything was spotless and comfortable. All facilities worked very well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to dc because it really doesn't make that much of a difference to stay outside of dc as opposed to in it, and it's a whole lot less expensive.”

• Pool staff was unwilling to open pool at appointed hour for what appeared to be her own convenience.

“Overall very pleased with the staff, room, bar, breakfast options, particularly the Starbucks coffee option in the lobby. The pool did not open at 10:00 am, however, according to the staff because of weather conditions which were perfect. It appeared that she did not want to be troubled to move her things outside.”

• Noisy- elevator, vending machines, etc. Internet access costs $9.95 daily.

“Hotel has two distinct sections; 1) the older section in which the rooms are on the lobby level and below which surround the outdoor pool and courtyard, and 2) the newer section in which the room are in the tower above lobby. The older section rooms are dark and dingy, and contained two double-beds, whereas the newer rooms are bright (though small/oddly shaped), comfortable, and had king-bed. Well appointed bathroom with marble counters. Nice indoor pool and well-equipped workout facility. Typical on-site restaurant and bar (premium prices for standard quality food/drinks). Free parking in above and underground parking lot.”

• The great feel from exterior and lobby.
• Room was not properly cleaned hair n shower trash not emptied. No information from staff about amenities. Not sure I have had better amenities for elsewhere.

“This hotel was great from the exterior at first sight I thought I got a great deal. But after checking in with poor front desk staff whom basically said her are your keys goodnight. No information was provided as to where are room was, where to park, hotel amenities, breakfast or lounge. Then when we got to our room one of the first things we noticed was that the trash can by desk was completely full of trash from previous guest. The next morning we realized the shower was not clean shower bottles and hair where still there. Who knows if the hotel made the beds or the previous guest. We could have been sleeping someone else's sheets. I did complain to management and he did invite me back.”

• It is located not too far from the highway, good free parking.
• Have swimming pool but shop don't stock swim gear, charges for internet, house keeping should clean also the loop and crannies.

• Checking in and out took far longer than it should have.

“The room itself was quite nice, with a view of Tyson's Corner and Reston, and the entire facility seemed to be well appointed and maintained. We did not visit the pool, though it seemed quite nice from our view. The only problem was that there was only one attendant working at the check-in counter, and as a result, we waited for nearly 20 minutes to be able to check in even though the only people in the entire check-in area consisted of my girlfriend and me, the gentlemen checking in ahead of us, and the attendant.”

• We stay there frequently and have always found it to be a great hotel.

“Our stays in the past have always been wonderful and everything else was fine, but if we had not stayed there before our first communication with the front desk would have been negative. Perhaps they should train their personnel that a guest is a guest, no matter how they made their reservation,”

• It was very clean and the staff was very nice.
• Well the in-door pool and hot tub were not in working order. Which was bad because that was the reason we picked the hotel?..

“The service and the staff were great. I just wish the pool area was open or they explained why it was closed. Overall it was a nice hotel but I don't think I will be staying there again.”

“The accommodations were excellent. The room was larger than normal and had an unusual shape which added interest. The lobby was luxurious and staff concierge was helpful and not overwhelming. There seemed to be some kind of misunderstanding with the food accommodations for a meeting I attended.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though I arrived late and had to call for directions, I was greeted by a cheerful receptionist.
• I loved everything!

“This hotel was conveniently located off a main street in Tyson's Corner. The facilities were immaculate and the room was very spacious. I was only there overnight but would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

• Remote did not work and when I requested a new one, no one brought one up.

“The hotel is remodeled which is nice. However, the service was not good, if you requested anything for your room, don't expect it. There was no fridge in our room (so much for leftovers), remote for TV was broken (so much for quick check out), And only the indoor pool was available for use (which is very small and obviously not out in the sun, for those who enjoy laying out). All in all a good place to stay if you are on Business.”

“Without a doubt one of the worst travel experiences of my life. We had to tolerate noise from the parties taking place below until 1:30am, then the next morning had to walk past beer bottles left out from the night before (at 10am) - service was rude, arrogant, the breakfast buffet is ridiculously scant for such an outrageous price. The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location. Otherwise it would be out of business overnight. ”

“I found that the Sheraton at Tyson Corners was very convenient for my purposes. The rooms were very clean and user friendly. The pool area and fitness areas were good. The quality of fitness machines were very good. Only real negative was that I had to wait for about 20 minutes to have some cartons brought to me in the lobby. The food menu was small and the food was just average. I would stay st this hotel again.”

• Clean, the pool and work out areas were top of the line and easy to get to the highway.
• The price of beer was a tad high/ There are things like Happy Hour that attract more into the area. Not a big deal.

“I actually had to wait in line to check in at 11:30pm. The floor my room was on reeked of cigarette smoke, even though it was a no smoking floor. The room was a good value. I was surprised and disappointed, that there was no broadband connection at the hotel, and preferably, in the rooms. The hotels restaurant, gets first prize for being the worst value of any restaurant I have ever eaten at. The breakfast buffet was $16/person, and no one was making omelettes, waffles or pancakes. the buffet food was also cold. if this restaurant was in NY, it would have been shut down.”
