• Having a full size kitchen.
• There phones don't work, unable to receive phone calls.

“I have stayed in this hotel twice and both times the phone was unable to receive calls. With being on a business trip I missed a some important phone calls.”

• Common area carpets dirty; no glasses or coffee cups in room.

• The room smelled like cigarettes and there were broken down cars in the parking area.

“I will never stay at this hotel again. My family was disappointing at the service level and quality. The room smelled heavily of cigarettes. My husband was accosted by drunken construction workers staying at the hotel who were working on a nearby project. There were wrecked cars in the parking lot. This hotel was far below the standards.”

• I enjoyed the room space.
• I did not like the fact that it didn't have hot water.

“I have stayed at this hotel previously and found it to be reasonable, but during this last visit--they did not have any hot water and I could not take a hot shower. Furthermore, when I told the staff, they did not even try to compensate me. I had to take a cold shower before I went to a business meeting.”

• I like having refrigerator and stove.
• I like more choices, like more than one bathroom switch instead of light and vent with the same switch, or for water pressure.

“It was pretty decent for the star level, but I would have liked to have seen it a little cleaner.”

• It had a refrigerator.
• The key took 5 tries before it worked, hotel hasn't been updated since the 80's, will never stay here again, out in the middle of no where.

“This was very hard to find and the hotel was very dated! As a female traveler who is alone, I did not feel safe not being near anything at all. This was located in the middle of a residential area. The staff was okay but I did not feel confident in the overall security of the hotel.”

• The hotel staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.
• You have to watch for the small signs that lead to the hotel from the highway.

“This hotel had everything I needed. I would stay here again and would refer others to stay here as well.”

• Friendly and helpful staff.
• 1st room had strong smell of deodorizer or cleaner.

“This hotel is a great place for those wanting an inexpensive, clean place to sleep. Parents will find it attractive because every room has a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave and stove, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Bring dish soap and some pots, pans and any other utensils you need if you cook.”

• Quick check in and it seemed to be in a safe area.
• Unable to move us to available rooms with 2 queen beds.

“I was so disappointed that we were traveling with a group of business travelers and our boss gives us enough money to spend on rooms so that we have to have double beds to share with our coworkers.”

• The hotel staff has really improved over my past visits. They are exceptionally friendly and the Manager--Ana Lisa is wonderful.

“This hotel meets a business travelers needs. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. This hotel also accepts dogs. For the price, you get your moneys worth.”

“The air conditioner did not work and there were no more room available. I was sent to another room which was not clean. On the second trip, the ac was not again working.”

• Refrigerator, microwave, highway location.
• Heat broke thrust, no repair, toilet broke, no repair, stupid staff.

“The staff never turned on my phone first night. Even though I gave credit card it was very inconvenient, no apology next day. Heat broke on thus night; no repair Friday, sat/sun superintendent was not even there. No apology. No hair blower at front desk. Toilet broke and no help with that. As we arrived there was only one luggage trolley and the wheel was broken. I had to hand carried my all of my things (huge amount due to doing an art show) to my room; they never even told me there was another entrance a few feet from my room. And I could have driven there in my car. Stupid.”

• The price was right.
• Somewhat beat-up feeling an extended stay hotel different than a hotel.

“For the price this hotel was great, esp. in the D.C. area--there is nowhere else to stay (not too many) for less than &100/night. So, for that, it was great!!! As for the cleanliness--it didn't feel that clean. Also, I would say that the fact that it's an extended stay hotel was different in that it operates a bit differently than would a regular hotel. An interesting experience with a kitchen in the room!! Pretty cool. A good experience for what it was being used for in this case.”

“Upon arrival I found no record of my reservations. The desk clerk admonished me for only having my confirmation # and not a copy of the entire reservation sheet. I finally told him to make the call and all was straightened out in no time. The next morning I attempted to take a shower but couldn't find out how to make the shower work. I was in a hurry and it was early so I took a sponge bath. Not a pretty sight. That night I tried to figure out again how it worked. Still no luck. I called the night number and was railed on as to why I didn't ask the day clerk how it worked. Answer. He wasn't on duty when I left and wasn't on duty when I got back. Saturday morning I took another sponge bath, I'm getting good at it now, and then went to ask the clerk what was what. Now the best part. He said my tub was the only tub in the building that had a twist cap in the faucet that after putting on the water. You then twisted and pulled out which then redirected the water through the shower. My issue is why would you not alert me as to how it works and why wouldn't you not alert the night man of the same thing if this is such a one in a million operation.”

• Has refrigerator, roomy, clean.
• Shower was leaking, iron wouldn't heat up, stove fan and light functioned as one. No place to keep our toiletry items.

“Various things were not functioning. We were there on business and very busy, so we did not mention the problems to the staff right away. Some of these things caused us inconvenience. The staff may have taken care of them, but we valued our privacy and time more than the inconveniences.”

• Rooms were pretty much full efficiency.
• Older, could have been 'spruced up' some more.

“If you don't need or want fancy accommodations, this hotel is very affordable and close to lots of shopping in just about every direction. Nothing is within walking distance, but just a short drive away.”
