• The flexibility of the reception staff.
• When they closed the restaurant for the hotel guests in favor of federal group.

• it was beautiful.
• Ridiculous for.

“The hotel is beautiful. Our room could have been cleaner. There was a hair on one of our pillows and some of the towels still seemed dirty. That and the ridiculous way they have the parking where the valet parking takes the whole first floor parking!!! When you get there with all your luggage and want to park your car you should have the most convenient parking, not the valet's! Unreal! Fix that and the cleanliness of the linens and it's fabulous.”

• Very nice staff, very comfortable rooms.
• The weekend airport transportation didn't begin until 06:45. For early morning departures, a traveler will incur a very $25-$30.

“Very nice hotel. Outdoor speakers at the mall adjacent to the hotels can cause a noisy room experience but the staff gladly moved me.
To list this hotel as an airport property is somewhat misleading because the traveler will incur additional taxi expense to return to the airport for pre 06:45 departures. The hotel bus service doesn't begin until 06:45 in the weekend and quits running at 22:00. If travel plans dont involve a taxi or you dont arrive or depart outside the hotel shuttle operating times, this is a great buy.”

• Clean, quiet, free on-site parking.
• No microwave or refrigerator.

“Elegance at a reasonable price. During my stay, the hotel accommodated mostly business travelers; so, the atmosphere was reserved, but not eerily quiet. There is a very nice bar lounge on the ground floor atrium. A perfect place to have a nightcap after returning from dinner at one of the Town Center restaurants.”

• Convenience to Dulles Airport and early morning shuttle service.
• Took friends to the on-site restaurant only to be told that they were only serving off the bar menu - so we had to have sandwiches.

“Beautiful, comfortable (and quiet) room - furnishings were like new. Just stayed one night and had to catch an early morning flight out of Dulles, but the staff was wonderfully kind and polite, and everything was neat as a pin (cleaning staff was hard at work in the lobby at 5:00 am).”

• No phone books in hotel room, and pool.

“There are no phone books in the hotel rooms which forces the guest unfamiliar with the area to rely on the hotel staff to give them information as to nearby restaurants. The only info we received was for places in the immediate area, none of which were child friendly.”

• Quality, comfort, location - all were the best!
• Breakfast buffet ($22) was overpriced.

“My room was excellent in all aspects. The location of the hotel was very convenient to shops and restaurants, the room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was excellent and prompt. I was very satisfied with my experience at the Reston Hyatt. And, parking was free!”

• Location, close activities for kids, reasonable priced places to eat within walking distance.
• Hot tub and sauna was broken,
  Disappointed our group; single size coffee maker, pool closed too early.

“Very nice size room for 1 adult and 2 children, nicely temperature controlled, beds comfortable. Would have liked a normal size coffee maker instead of individual cup. Great location. Close walking distance for restaurants, shopping and recreational activities.”

“The hotel is located next to Reston Towne Center. It is an elegant establishment; there was a lovely winter village scene and train exhibit set up off the lobby. Ice skaters were enjoying the skating rink just out the back door. Holiday lights and a horse-drawn carriage made my stay just perfect.”

• The room was excellent. High quality and clean.
• The shuttle to the airport ran modified hours. Ended up costing me $20 for a cab to catch an early flight.

“The general appearance of the hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was no free WiFi in the rooms, but the Pan era in the lobby offered free internet access. The only issue with the hotel was that they were running on Modified shuttle hours the day I stayed. Therefore, I had to take a cab to the airport to catch my early flight. That added $20 to the cost of staying there.”

• Top quality. Everything for prices made this a wonderful experience.
• What's not to like?

“This Hyatt Regency, situated in the middle of the Reston Town Center, offers luxury, cleanliness, and superb service. The rooms are tastefully decorated and immaculate, and the toiletries are several times larger than most hotels provide. Each and every staff member provided quality service fit for royalty. And, the in-room coffee was the best Ive ever had - and it is free. This hotel raised the bar on my hotel standards.”

• The walls could use some extra sound insulation.

“The staff was friendly, but English was not anyones first language. I had to struggle a little with accents. We could hear conversations in the rooms next door, so it didn't seem that private. The Sunday Brunch was excellent!”

“An upscale hotel like this should not be charging for Internet access. The rooms are comfortable, and the linens are great, but the staff attitude is snooty. This is not a good hotel for business travelers.”

• Somewhat difficult location to find because of the one way roads.

“Fabulous looking hotel with top notch amenities. Parking is ample and free. Front desk staff is professional and efficient. It seems like a popular location for conferences and events so check the hotel schedule before you book if you are concerned about noise or a lot of activity although this was not a problem when we stayed there and there was an event taking place.”

• Staff was nice except for the front desk people and manager.
• The windows didn't open.

“The food from room service was terrible and the maid tried to come into my room 3 times even though the bar was on the door and woke me up. Once, okay, but three times? He/She didn't stop until I asked her/him to go away, plus I didn't know it was a non-smoking hotel until I arrive.”
