• Helpful, friendly staff, cleanliness, layout of the rooms (shower / toilet separate from sink), great parking, comfortable beds, and the good food.
• Motel is not close to the metro and very close to the airport. Bad internet.

“We loved this hotel. Price was great, and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were very accommodating, especially the restaurant. We had stayed for three days to visit Washington D.C. We had left to see the fall colors of the leaves. The fall colors were covered by fog. We came back to this hotel for two more days to visit in D.C. some more.”

• Quiet, friendly and front desk was very accommodating.
• Liked it all!

“I traveled with my son and myself in one room and my daughter and her friend in another. The AC in my daughter's room was on upon arrival but broken. I contacted the front desk and they promptly assigned her to a different room where the AC worked fine. The staff was very friendly and met all our needs upon request. I would stay here again without hesitation.”

• Comfortable business center and easy access to printer and internet
• Damp floors with profuse mildew smell and reserved airport shuttle left without informing us only a minute after desired time.

“The overall appearance and comfort level was fine. However, our room was damp and smelled profusely of mildew. The business center was comfortable and convenient. The shuttle service left without warning. We arrived at the lobby watching our airport shuttle pull away.”

• Very clean room, very clean beds comfortable accommodation.
• The reception could use some updating and so could the breakfast area.

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel it was better then we expected. The price was good, the room was very clean, had a nice small balcony. We would recommended to anyone. We will return.”

• The staff was surprisingly friendly.
• It was not made clear that you had to call the hotel to have the shuttle come to the airport.

“Although the building was a bit dated, our room had been newly renovated. Not far from shops and restaurants. We hadn't known that you have to call the hotel to have the shuttle come and meet you at the airport. Having just flown in from France, we just stood outside and waited until a driver from another hotel let us use his phone to call the hotel. Later we found out that you can use courtesy phones in the airport to call for the shuttle. The shuttle was also cancelled on our last morning (the driver was sick), which meant we had to take a taxi. However, it was good value and the staff was extremely friendly.”

• Hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. The location was great as well.
• It was a completely enjoyable experience; there was nothing that we had a problem with.

“The hotel was well situated, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and furnished directions and insider advice for the area. Our stay wasn't long, but it was a very smooth transition between one hotel and another and the service was excellent!”

• Friendly staff; extremely clean rooms, rooms were beautiful and it was close to DC.
• Nothing. I had a wonderful time.

“The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms as well as the lobby and pool areas were extremely clean and very nicely set up. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone!”

• I loved that they had a fitness center, pool and hot tub and an onsite breakfast.
• It was not a full service restaurant so if you need dinner you had to order out.

“I would highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff was amazingly helpful and kind. I got lost on how to get from the rental car place to the hotel and they stayed on the phone and flagged me in. They have a convenient shuttle from the airport. The room and facility would work well for a family or a business traveler.”

• Very clean, free transportation to airport.
• Charge for continental breakfast.

“Needed a reasonably priced hotel with free shuttle to airport for a short layover in dc. Had to call for the shuttle and wait 15 min outside in the cold. Shuttle finally came. It is quite a distance from the airport. Check in was friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and had free bottles of water waiting for us. No floor mat or shampoos for shower. Hair dryer was finally found hanging in closet. There is a charge for the continental breakfast in the am, I knew this already from other reviews so we elected to just go to the airport to eat. There was no shuttle driver for the van so they called a taxi for us and paid for it which was nice. Seemed to be lots of business people around the hotel. Hotel was fine for a quick layover at the price we got it for. Would definitely not pay the full that was found on other sites.”

• I liked the balcony, the clean room & the lay out of the room.
• The Ethernet was very slow and the Indian front deskman was not helpful and was hard to understand.

“Good location within the Herndon area- Reston Town Center with a great shopping experience is only minutes away. The rooms are immaculate with comfortable beds and lots of extra pillows. Best of all, the price is right!.”

• They did not have a nonsmoking room ours smelled worse than an ashtray.

“Do not stay here. We arrived to having to wait to register . They had no nonsmoking rooms. I complained. It took them 2 hours to bring an operator. The room still smelled. It was not friendly or particularly friendly. It is the worst Court Yard that I have ever stayed in .”

• Lack of hair conditioner in bathroom.

“This hotel is conveniently located near Dulles airport and Reston Town Center - loads of restaurants and business amenities nearby. Hotel staff go above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. The airline lost my bag and the front desk staff made sure I had a "care bag" of toiletries which made the next morning much easier. Great hotel, would love to stay there again.”

“The hotel has a very peaceful and quite area with personal that are there for the guest and also very close to the airport. I had a very restful stay and the shuttle had me back on route for home. I myself enjoyed my stay it has a home atmosphere.”

• I was quite pleased, I found the breakfast bar well stocked with healthy food as well as the regular fair.
• It was not quite convenient to Dulles I AD, drove through residential area to arrive. But we felt safe and secure.

“I felt we had a great price for the quality of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Everyone was so nice to us, even at nearly midnight when we arrived. There were snacks on the counter, fruit and cookies. There was plenty of healthy foods on the breakfast bar (not included in price, but worth paying for).”

• It was off 'the main drag' away from traffic and noise.
• I was on the third floor, elevator was very slow.

“This Courtyard was like all the other Courtyard hotels I have stayed. It was a good value priced hotel. I ate breakfast there one morning it was also very good.”

• I called the hotel at 11:02 pm for a ride to the hotel. Their van service stops at 11:00 and I had to take a $12 cab ride.

“Had I known to call before 11:00 pm I could have saved the $12 cab fare.”

• Hotel seemed newly refurbished.
• Called ahead to request 1st floor room, but they could not accommodate.

“I stayed at this hotel several years ago and was surprised to find it almost like new. Rooms and beds very comfy. Furniture nice and fresh.”
