- It was quiet; bed was comfortable, nice down pillows.
- Room was dirty hair on ceiling in shower.
“Overall, the experience wasnt bad, just the hair on the ceiling of the shower was gross! The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom as there were 2 smokers and the smoke just hung. (I myself am a non smoker). On the upside, the bar was nice, bed was comfortable with nice down pillows and comforter. It was nice and close to the airport, yet couldnt hear the jets. We ordered coffee one morning and the tray sat outside the door for a day, and the halls had some trash littered throughout. Hard to understand some of the staff as some were foreign. No one knew directions really to anywhere, but that is common for that whole area id recommend map quest.”

- This is a very clean hotel and is also very quiet which is great for business travelers.

- The rooms were the most comfortable Ive stayed in ever. The decor was stunning and the food was exquisite.
- They were somewhat lax about cleaning the hallways. Trays and other trash stayed in the same spot for more than 24 hours.
“The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's minutes from the airport. The bed is truly the most comfortable Ive found in many trips. The restaurant was phenomenal. Expensive, but well worth it. We were a party of four and every dish was exceptional.”

- The staff at the hotel was so friendly and helpful and the beds were so comfortable.
- I cannot think of a thing.
“My wife and I took our two grandsons, ages 12 and 10 to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum at Dulles Airport, and it was a truly great experience for the boys. They were made to feel at home at the hotel, and the staff was most accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends.”

- The overhead rain showerhead was worth staying there in and of itself!
- Even though the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was on the door, housekeeping kept knocking in the morning.
“They had me in a two double bed room, but were more than happy to upgrade me to a king room for the same rate. It was a gorgeous suite with a flat panel TV, sumptuous bedding, and a bathroom to die for! The marble/ceramic tile, upscale fixtures, Evelyn & Crabtree toiletries, and GIANT shower with a bench and ceiling rain showerhead as well as the regular wall mounted showerhead was just fantastic!”

- It's a very nice hotel.
- The $15.00 transportation fee to/from the airport.
“The hotel is very nice for a business traveler on an expense account. For those of use looking for more affordable accommodations. This hotel says they are too far from the airport to provide transportation free. In that case they should be moved from their current location to another so that we may continue to use your service. All the other hotels for Dulles provide free transportation.”

- Fabulous down comforters on the king size bed, large room, tile shower.
- Broken lampshade, punched whole in the wall, housekeeping staff that did not speak English.
“Fabulous business room -- lots of space, comfortable bed, big plasma TV, nice sized writing desk, high speed internet, tile and granite large shower with two shower heads. Room service dinner was not so good. Clams and pasta, not quite fresh enough. Housekeeping staff friendly, but not English speaking. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you are going there, plan to just stay in.”

“When I asked how my 5 month old, 6 year old and self could arrange an after hours shuttle at 12:30 we were told to phone from the plane. I made it out to the curb in time to see the shuttle drive away. We didn't get picked up until 3 am, after being told it was my fault for not making to it the curb fast enough. Exhausted and needing to be at a funeral early the next day, I asked if I could stay another night and the manager told me yes, but the computers were down for the night. I never received a call to say he could not sign me up, so I left for the funeral and wake. When I got back to the hotel with my weary children that night, they had packed up my things. All of my personal things were touched by strangers. I was embarrassed because packing for the funeral had been haphazard. Apologizing, the woman at the counter gave me a breakfast buffet coupon. I called in the morning to ask if I could use the coupon for lunch since we were too tired to make it down for breakfast. Sitting down to lunch, I handed the coupon to the waiter who told me it was not possible to use it for credit. Again I was utterly embarrassed! I am missing at least half of a bathing suit and my phone charger (I had to do without my phone for part of the trip).”

- Avoid dinner at the restaurant. Food was beautiful but overpriced, tasteless and cold.
“Hilton guest rooms and service leave nothing at all to be desired. The beds, pillows and linens are "to die for;" the large wide-screen flat panel TV was amazing; the huge marble shower with overhead and wall spigots and built-in marble bench were fabulous; the tall ceramic mugs and lavas coffee in the room were wonderful; what more can I say?! (Just avoid dinner in the restaurant.).”

- The rooms were superior, clean and big. The plasma TV was awesome.
- The hotel was too remote - had to have a car to eat out of hotel.

- Staff was perfunctory, not helpful, not welcoming.
“Check-in very poorly handled. As a woman checking in alone, I was given a 1st floor room on the parking lot with curtains that did not close though the hotel was not full. Desk offered no advice as to where to park to be convenient to my room. No assistance with luggage offered. No advice on what restaurants were open or what food was available. In the room the breakfast card had already been filled out by a prior guest and left. No wash cloths in bathroom. No attention to service or detail.”

- Airport shuttle and location, food from room service was good, nice room and amenities.
- Customer service was lacking.
“Overall, this was a good hotel. However, the front desk referred me to their driver for transportation who overcharged me $20 for a ride. The hotel did not apologize for referring me to someone that took advantage of me. I asked for a to go box for my room service food and they told me that they were too busy. They told me to come down and get one. I did and I asked a gentleman for it and he didn't come back. After waiting 10 minutes, a lady got a box for me.”

“Converted Radisson has upgraded rooms and common areas. Staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Hilton honors gold wasn't helpful in that I had no newspaper but in the scheme of things that is not important in that I got a paper at the concierge lounge. Clean, safe, friendly, good location. You can't ask for much more.”

- Supervising manager was excellent and most helpful.
- Front desk staff quite un knowledgeable about anything when called.
“staff needs training-they cannot answer the most basic of questions, send you to a bell desk where the bell person has disappeared for 15 minutes or so. BAD. Mgr on duty got wind, and made everything GREAT. we did not notify him, he observed this and acted on it! room is exceptional- widescreen flat panel TV built in, in room high speed I-net, and exceptionally comfortable beds. Alk so has pool, gym, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna, convenient location.”

- I would have loved the 4th or 5 the floors but I assume it would have cost me a little more or a lot more. :)

- The new rooms were great and the gym was very good.
- Charge for the internet.

- This hotel is very convenient and very prettily appointed.
- The drapes do not close .

- The renovated part.
- Some of the staff are ignorant and some are hard to understand.
“Good hotel, if you are traveling out of Dulles. Some of the staff members are ignorant. As a Hilton honor member, I should get coupons for the breakfast buffet and some bottled water. At this Hilton location, you always have to ask for that. ”

- The comfort of the rooms and the setting of the hotel.
- The real early check out.
“The hotel is a great hotel. The only problem I had was that I wanted to check out at a later time and could not and the staff who worked downstairs was not very helpful. The hotel had a blackout the morning of my check out.”

- Nice bed.
- Bus staff very rude, unhelpful.
“Hotel is very nice, however the rooms lack upkeep and fitness Lights in room were off improvisation's with switches. Restaurant has a mediocre to poor menu. Bus staff was rude and did not care about guests comfort concerns. Will not stay there again. As a Suited Airlines pilot, I stay at hundreds of hotels. I hope you read this critique.”
