• There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
• Inconsiderate maintenance worker, very few ice and vending machines.

“I reported a broken toilet seat, the worker walked in unannounced while my wife was undressed. She asked him to leave, he did and returned three minutes later knocked then walked in with out waiting for acknowledgement. Other than that I would rate it fair.”

• Location was great, easy on/off ramps near freeway.
• Dirty carpet, walls, no daily fresh towels, stinky, stinky room.

“This is an old filthy facility, understaffed with treacherous loose cement and sticky carpet. I wore shoes in the room to keep from touching the carpet because of hygiene issues. The room stank, we did not get fresh towels and shampoo daily. By far the worst hotel ever stayed. Wait staff in breakfast cafe was friendly and attentive.”

• The location was convenient.
• Aside from the location, I like nothing about this hotel.

“Very drab and outdated rooms. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was awful. The stairwells outside are in dire need of maintenance. I feel the hotel has made no effort to update their rooms in a very long time. I don't recommend this hotel. I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express on I-270.”

• It was close to the highway.
• Hotel clerk rude. Insisted we pay $20 to get two beds.

“I believe this hotel accepts offers with the intention of up charging your referrals for something your customers feel they have paid for. I am speaking of the Extended Stay America Motel not the Holiday Inn which is excellent helpful and not out to gouge the traveling public. Thanks for asking.”

• Pet friendly, room service, had bridge for internet, nice staff.
• The mini fridge froze my food and drink. Not enough outlets.

“Staff especially clerks and housekeeping was friendly, check in and out was quick and easy. The armoire for clothes and for the coffee was a nice touch. The only issue was there weren't many electrical outlets, and they all had extension cords that were full.”

• The restaurant staff was wonderful; the rooms were clean and smelled clean.
• The shower water temp was uber hot then instantly cold!

“We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and lovely the room was. The area was reachable and close to all we needed. The staff was helpful and I would recommend this site to anyone!”

• The price.
• Stranger walking the halls at 2am, knocked at my door, police came, doors for halls not locked, not safe.

“The hotel is in need of upgrades. Rooms are nice, but the lobby and hallways are not. The breezeway doors were not locked at night, and we did have a strange man - looking like a drug dealer - knocking at my door at 2:30 am. Price was good.”

• Clean, easily accessible, comfortable.
• Bathroom sink was clogged, bathroom door was very hard to open because carpeting and pad was too thick, fixed 3rd night.

“It was overall a nice place to spend our time. We were there for a wedding and didn't spend a lot of time in our room. It was clean and neat.”

• The housekeeping staff and other service people were so friendly helpful (not the front desk personnel).
• The front desk personnel were less than friendly or accommodating.

“The hotel it self was not good at all. My room was not too bad. But the common areas (elevator, halls, and stairwells) were just terrible. I realized they were under renovation but they were still horrible. The carpets were dirty and torn. They need a lot more work. They may consider shutting down until they do a little more renovation. Also, we had 2 rooms. We were put on the side facing the parking lot. I requested that we have rooms the side with the pool. The desk clerk seems a put out because we made this request. He ended up putting us at different ends of the hallway. There were not a lot of people there at the hotel. He could have given us rooms much closer to each other.”

• The pool, although rather dilapidated, was clean at least.
• Room was clammy, dark, and the temperature was either too cold or too hot. Beds were unsavory.

“Upon first entering, the lobby is renovated and very attractive. There was a lot of construction under way, making getting to the room difficult. The room itself was dark, dank, and musty. Even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of old cigarette smoke. The beds were just unsavory. I wanted to curl up in a blanket on top but there wasn't a spare available. The pool area looked nice, but the pool had holes all around the edge. However, the water was clean. I won't return to this hotel. It was a good deal monetarily but the room was pretty gross.”

“The motel was under renovations and did not have elevator service. The rooms were pleasant but had extremely little light. I could not read with every light on.”

• Elevator out, smoke alarm beeped in the middle of night, TV blew up.

“This hotel was under construction so the elevator was not working. The appearance of the hotel was not attractive. We had several mishaps during our stay which caused us to have an uncomfortable stay.”

“My room was fairly clean. I didn't have much contact with staff but didn't need to & what contact I had was pleasant & helpful. I had easy access to many locations in the area which was a bonus. I would stay here again.”

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, location was good. The hotel is undergoing a much needed renovation. The rooms were not especially clean. We had requested non-smoking, there was a cigarette in the ac unit that appeared to have been there for quite some time and the room smelled of smoke.”

“This hotel was under construction and we were not informed until after we checked in and were placed on the third floor. Was advised there was no elevator service and I had my 71 year old mom with me who had to wind up staying with a friend and sleeping on their couch. I requested for three days to be put on the first floor and was advised they could not do that.”

“Hello, I arrived at this hotel exhausted after a long day of driving and had an important interview the next day - it was important for me to get a peaceful and relaxing night's stay. I put my pajama on and got ready for bed. When I walked into the bathroom the floor was soaking wet with some kind of sticky liquid. I called the front desk, who offered to move me, but at that point I was already unpacked, undress and exhausted, so I just went to sleep - but there went my relaxing stay!”

• The restaurant had good food.
• It was an open-air hotel and that made me feel a bit awkward during the winter.

“The hotel was decent for a single night, jut passing through stay. I would not really recommend it; however, for the price it was manageable. I did not feel as safe as I would have liked too, but during the summer the hotel would have a much greater appeal.”

• No negatives.

“I arrived and was given total service from beginning to end. My wife was overly pleased with the comfort of the room and size also. From the lady serving at the bar, who I believe was going on break, take stop and returned to wait on me, to the people cleaning rooms that spoke to me, I was totally pleased.”

• Cheap fair! Close to downtown. Plenty of restaurants close bye.
• Dirty bathroom, poor TV choices, not enough outlets for electronics, cups.

“Well priced hotel stay. Pleasant staff that was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of good restaurants close bye. Don¿t waste your time in the hotel restaurant. Bathroom could have used a little bleach and a vacuum on the rug. The price is right for here. Don¿t expect the world just a place to sleep and watch TV in a safe hotel.”

Also, the high-speed internet was not working in this room, tack support told me to go to a common area. This is unacceptable. The alarm clock was also broken.”

• Location eases of access lots of rooms and availability.
• Rooms are dated and filthy dirty, pillows are like rocks.

“The hotel has all the amenities that are consistent with most 2.5 star hotels; however, the rooms are dated and very dirty. I found hair in the bed, all over the counter and bath room. Carpets were dirty and the room was sprayed with that room freshener to cover up the stale odor. Location is great with lots of nice restraints nearby with easy access. Tons of rooms and always availability. There is no way this is a 2.5 stars though should be a 2 at the most. Quality of the facility is nowhere near that of a Marriott residence or courtyard, which is also rated at 2.5 stars.”

“This hotel was very unpleasant. They promised a non-smoking room on the phone, but when I arrived, they gave me a smoking one. I had to drive back and forth to the reception area to discuss this (because it was so cold and I would have had to walk outside to get back to the reception area, since this hotel does not have interior corridors). The outdoor stairs were damaged and a real safety hazard. I actually tripped! It was an old motel, as far as I am concerned. Parking was very far from the room and not convenient. The room was clean and pleasant, but all the other points raised made this a very unpleasant stay indeed!”

• Cleanliness of the hotel rooms is questionable!

“I would not recommend this hotel as 2.5 stars. My room was not clean and I called the front desk at check in to note the following problems: The toilet had not been cleaned. There was a glass with cig butts and water in one of the bureau drawers. This was a non-smoking room. Cobwebs were evident. Box springs and Mattresses were saggy. I had to kill a bug the first night. Sheets were not changed daily. Sheets on bed had blood stain that looked washed but stains did not come out.”

“I would not return to or recommend this hotel to anyone. The facilities are outdated, the bathroom was dirty with visible body fluids left on the toilet, the shower was more a dribble than a stream, and the heater was noisy. I was very disappointed. I've found that I only save $5-10 a night. With experiences like these, I'd rather spend the extra money and know what I'm getting.”

“Avoid. Got dirty room with broken mattress. Moved to supposedly renovated room, which was basically as shabby, but at least mattress was somewhat better. Not nearly up to standards of an average holiday inn. ”
