• Absolutely nothing.

“The three rooms rented were filthy, roach infested. Broken furniture. Denial by staff for the things, this is something that have never happened before. I wouldn't even shower there nor eat in this filthy place. I tried to call the manager but there was no answer. The health department would have a ball there. I think I should receive a refund.”

• Inexpensive.
• Cockroaches in my bed.

“The room I was in should be fumigated. I had cock roaches in my bed. The swimming pool had not been opened for the season and had green water with scum on it. The wireless Internet did not work on my first night of my 3 night stay. The cleaning staff should clean behind the bed.”

• Complimentary breakfast and playground for kids.
• Some of the plugs in the room didn't work which was very inconvenient.
  

“Hotel is in a great location. Very close to restaurants and only 5 minutes from Kings Dominion. Very family friendly. Love the playground area. Was able to lounge at the pool while the kids played.

• Nothing in particular.
• Old & outdated.

“The room was outdated & nothing was in good working order. Only a few TV stations were clear, the rest were fuzzy. The toilet handle had to hold down in order for it to flush properly and there was very little water pressure. There was never any ice in the ice machines.”

• The only good thing is close to where I was going and in the middle of a lot of food places.
• This hotel was dirty and springs were popping out of the bed lights not working unhappy.

• It was close to a lot of restaurants.
• Not very clean.

“Overall I would give it a 5. That's only because it was so close to everything. I didn't like the fact that the pool was shared by surrounding hotels.”

• The price.
• It was very dirty, located badly run down and a little scary to sleep there.

“There was no services on my floor. There were electric wires hanging out of the wall. There was drywall peeling off the wall. The pool had brown water in it, with people swimming in it. The shower knob fell off while using it. There were disgusting hairs in the tub. There were huge stains on the carpet. Worst hotel stay of our lives. Hopefully we didn't come home with any uninvited guests.”

• The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom.

“I did like the area where it was located. Parking space was needing an improvement. We had to park a couple of nights in the other motel's space. The rooms needed a better cleaning and the bathroom especially.”

“The worst hotel I have ever been in, I did not even stay there. Got to the room at midnight, left at 1am and drove home 6 hours.”

“Great for the money and not very busy. The room was clean and room service was prompt and early. I only wish that breakfast would be served until 10:00 instead of 9:00.”

• No fitted sheets. Blood on bedspread.

“Rooms are old, but fairly clean except for a red blood stain I found on the underside of my bedspread. Not fitted sheets so the sheets came off bed with-in 5 min of getting in. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke.”

“For the price, it was adequate but that is all. The staff were very stingy with washcloths and it was really a hot week in Virginia.”

• Wasn't there really long enough to find anything wrong. My next trip I would request a room on the first floor.

• Desk clerk was very nice.
• Poor condition, crumbs in the bed, ice machine defective.

“I was not expecting a lot with a 1 star motel, but I do expect it to be clean, and the facilities to work. Two of the lights in my room had no light bulbs in them. The ice machine worked, but you had to wait 4 or 5 minutes for it to fill up the small ice bucket from your room. I will not stay there again.”

• The hotel was clean, efficient and a great value. The kids enjoyed the pool & play area on the premises.
• Honestly I can't say anything bad when you keep the price 7 and value in mind. Not a 5 star, but who cares.

“The hotel presented itself with a high level of value for the dollar. I would have never thought I it was a 2 star hotel. the kids had a great time. They were able to stay busy doing activities such as swimming and using the full playground that was on the lot. It is surrounded by several places to dine, along with nice places to shop within minutes time. A great value!!!”

• There was nothing at all I liked about this place.
• Shower did work, took 2 days to them to replace a bathroom light.

“Was the worst hotel stay I ever had in my whole life. The light in the bathroom was out so had to use the bathroom and shower in the dark till day 2, the shower had the cold water and the lower faucet for the tub had the hot water. Was over run with Mexican men trying to pick me up or get me to take them to my room and was very scary at night. I would never ever stay at this hotel again in my life. It was $57 a night and that was about $55 too much.”

• It is very rundown, but comfy and cheap with friendly staff.
• Bedding was old, yard was not kept up.

“If you want a bed to sleep in and a friendly staff, stay here. This is not luxury -- it is not new, but it is an inexpensive, convenient place to stay with lots of places to eat nearby. An excellent layover if you're driving a distance.”
