“This hotel has good location near a Perkins restaurant, beside Highway 95. Neither the clerk at check-in nor the hotel guidebook in the room told the hours of the complimentary breakfast. I called at 9:40 AM and was told it closed at 9:30. While checking out, I was told it had stayed open till 10. We had to go out and pay for six breakfasts at a restaurant. One room did not have a Do Not Disturb sign so the maids entered while we were still there.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Gary from Annapolis, MD
“Average in every way. Breakfast was disappointing. Ice machines did not work. One computer for public use. I needed to get a map and the single computer was unavailable.” May 10, 2008 by
Deborah from Summerville, SC
“Located close to the Interstate. Kind staff. Rooms a little worn. Good breakfast.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Don from Charlotte, NC
“Clean property, more like a 2 star than a 2 1/2 star in my opinion.” Mar 30, 2008 by
Sue from Dalton, PA
“The location was convenient. Easy on and off and good midpoint for someone traveling from the north to the south. Continental breakfast was included which makes it nice for families with young children. I have stayed in higher rated hotels for less. The beds were just fine.” Mar 12, 2008 by
Jonathan from Williamsburg, VA
“The worst thing about this hotel was the staff. We did not have enough towels we called the front desk they said they would send some and we never got them. If the staff was friendly, helpful and, courteous I would have no problem with this hotel. the current staff seem like they do not care about anything at all.” Mar 11, 2008 by
Debbie from Erie, PA
“The hotel was overbooked and the night help did not want to give me the available room at the price I paid. We had to wait while he went around inspecting rooms looking for an available double but no double bed rooms were clean. It appeared the night help was not well trained and fearful of making a decision. The next morning my husband heard him complaining about me to the day manager as though I was disrespectful and rude which was not the case. I think he just did not want to get in trouble with his boss for having to give me a higher priced room so he placed blame on me. The room and place were nice but the poor customer service and untrained staff were disconcerting.” Feb 8, 2008 by
Randall from Simpsonville, SC
“An exceptional stay for the money. If I go back to Fredericksburg, I will stay there again.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Andre' from Richmond, VA
“Awesome!” Jan 2, 2008 by
Michael from Ewing, NJ
“Nice place - would stay there again however they did not have any hot water the morning of check out - I understand things like that happened but I did not get the impression the staff was concerned at all - they did not even offer an apology or some type of credit or even a free drink or meal!” Jul 22, 2007 by
R. C. from Lafollette, TN
“Furniture in the room old, musty, and dirty. Chair in the corner was so dirty I wouldn't even put my suitcase on it. My room door was unevenly mounted, and would not shut completely. Beds are very uncomfortable. Breakfast selection was scant, and the breads were old. Orange juice was more water than juice. Parking area was not lit!” Jun 9, 2007 by
Gary from Griffin, GA
“Close to interstate but far enough away to be quiet.” Apr 17, 2007 by
Zachary
“The cleaning staff knocked on my door twice before 9AM. I informed the front desk upon checkout that there was no hot water and the front desk staff just said "There was no hot water? Oh."” Jun 26, 2005 by
Mary D. from Syracuse, NY
“Clean, convenient to the highway and a marvelously efficient staff” May 28, 2005 by
Charles from Yukon, OK
“The hotel was fine, with plenty of meeting rooms for conferences. It had an adequate exercise room and pool and hot tub. It had an excellent complimentary breakfast buffet.Draw backs would be no decent restraunts or entertainment nearby.” May 16, 2005 by
Lydia B. from Hamilton, NJ
“This hotel has the WORST possible customer service I have ever seen in my life, anywhere. Although the hotel itself is average, the attitudes of the staff make a stay here frustrating. I've never encountered such a rude staff. The only person we came into contact with that was sweet and nice was the maid and she didn't even speak English...she was the only shinning light in the entire establishment.”
