“Hotel was exactly what we expected. No major complaints, but... Bed could/should have been king, not queen. Should have had continental breakfast. Bath was adequate. Cleanliness was adequate. Wish hotels would do away with carpet - it's never completely clean. Also the bedspread.” Apr 30, 2008 by

“The room was unacceptable for my standards.” Oct 9, 2007 by
Katie from Mount Juliet, TN
“To put it mildly - poop was smeared all over the bathroom ceiling and walls. When I called the front desk they said they would send someone over to clean it up - we went on a tour - came back in 3 hours and no one cleaned it up. It was disgusting.” Jul 17, 2007 by

“Overall, nice hotel for the price.” May 8, 2007 by

“I booked this hotel because of the star-rating, but I was disappointed to find that it did not meet my expectations. The lobby was beautiful, so I thought that my room would be the same. However, it was not. When I arrived in my room there were hairs from a past guest in my shower. There were a few ants in the bathroom. There was a hole in the ceiling over the shower, so I was worried about showering. My bed was less than comfortable - very few pillows and I could feel the springs of the bed in my back. The other guests were overly loud outside of my room, and I could hear everything outside, so I did not sleep well at all the entire 3 nights I stayed there. There was very little parking, and I did not feel very safe walking to my room at night after work. I will not return to the Ramada inn after that stay - there are much better hotels in the Fredericksburg area that I now prefer.” Apr 20, 2007 by
Anna from Beverly, WV
“This was a very nice hotel. It was clean and comfortable, but we had to deal with the annoying music from the bar. Our room was across a large lobby from it, and the vibration as well as the thump-bang-thump-bang of the music kept us up past 2:00. We thought it odd the staff took pains to quiet children running along the balconies, but the bar was loud enough to wake the dead.” Apr 5, 2007 by
Nancy from Portsmouth, RI
“We checked in, saw the room and could not stay. The carpet was filthy and the bathroom was even worse. The front desk person did not seem concerned one way or the other, which lead me to believe she was accustomed to people leaving.” Hotel Representatives:
