• The location was excellent and the room was decorated nicely.
• That it did not have a restaurants.

“Convenient location and not only to the freeway but to lots of shopping and dining options. The room was nicely decorated. I would stay here again.”

• Location could have been a little better, a little closer to downtown area.

• Spacious room, sumptuous beds and pillows. Loved the fridge in the room too.
• We did have some key problems for 2 of our 3 days and the shower wasn't great.

“Bright, spacious, very comfortable beds and lots of pillows. Shower head - was weird, but the bathroom was nice. Basically a great experience even with our key problems, which they did their best to fix!”

• Convenient location with a friendly and responsive staff.

“Convenient and clean! About 11:30 pm I found myself wanting a few more pillows and a blanket. The staff was there in less than 10 minutes. Good experience.”

• Room was very clean and quiet, felt safe, was close to decent food and shopping.
• It was a little far from where I was conducting my business.

• Convenient location, fairly well appointed, fairly clean.
• Like most hotels, the walls are too thin; you could hear people snoring in the next room.
  

“A good hotel. I wouldn't call it upscale, but between average and upscale. The room was well appointed and clean, but the sink counter outside the bathroom was a little small, especially with the coffee maker and cups. Like most other hotels, the walls were a little thin. You could hear the people snoring next door. Also, the TV is situated to the side of the bed in a perpendicular direction, so no watching TV in bed unless you have a rubber neck.

• Environmentally conscious; made a big impression on me.
• Room service would be nice.

“Very nice rooms with modern and chic decor. Very friendly staff with excellent service. No room service, but a restaurant for breakfast. The thing that made the biggest impression on me was their attention to environmental concerns. They had energy-efficient light bulbs and refrigerators, in addition to encouraging guests to reuse towels and sheets.”

• Near Amtrak station & in a familiar location.
• Decor was a bit ostentatious & mattress was a little worse for wear.

• The hotel was clean and quiet, it was well worth the money I spent for the room.
• I have no complaints.

“The hotel was right off the freeway with a large sign which made it easy to find. The room was clean and the other occupants in the hotel were mainly families. I had a peaceful night sleep.”

• Location.
• A little bit too pricey for the neighborhood.

“I've stayed here in the past, both for business and pleasure. The rooms are clean and the hotel is in a great location. Restaurants are nearby and it's convenient located near the highway. I plan to stay there again in the fall.”

• No fridge or mini-bar in room.

“The Marriott Courtyard Richmond is a good 3* hotel. Staff is friendly and offers a good breakfast buffet at a decent price. The hotel, although located on a main road, is relatively quiet. Internet is free, as is parking, and, like all Marriott properties, the hotel is smoke-free.”

• Road signage needed to be larger.

• The phone was not the best connection.

• Did not clean our room

“This hotel was definitely one of the better ones I have stayed in in Richmond in the price range. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, there was free coffee, tea and hot chocolate, and the room was nice. The only thing I didn't like is that housekeeping did not come since we left the room at 1pm. But that wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.”

“I am pleased to be able to complete this survey, as the West Broad Street Courtyard far surpassed by expectations. From the fitness center to the breakfast area, I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. And, I will not complain about the price either.”
