• The spacious room was a refreshing change from the cramped closets we're used to.
• There was no fridge or microwave in the room!

“Overall, I really liked the Sheraton. It's clean, quiet and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. However, I think this day in age it is standard to have a little fridge and a microwave in the room, so step up Sheraton! Not to mention, $10/day for internet access is ridiculous.”

• The price was right. I guess I got what I paid for.
• We were given 2 roll away beds and put in a hospitality suite. They didn't have a regular room.

“It advertises all this wonderful stuff about their beds only we didn't get to try them. I don't think this would have happened if it had not been a discounted room. I think we were treated like discounted people, no compensations at all were offered.”

• Convenient, close to everything. Rooms not connected to main entrance.
• The room had a shower and no tub.

“This was a one night get away. The room suited my needs I would have preferred a tub. Only had shower. I do not like the fact that the rooms are separate from main lobby of hotel. You have to leave main lobby get back in car to get to rooms.”

• I like to location and that it was a Sheraton property. Room was adequate if things worked.
• Old, run down, major problems with toilet, faucet, ice, and that was out second room.

“Pool was dirty. 8 Year old said, it's not very clear. Not only that, there was algae behind the steps to get in. And we could not get in due to traffic blockage for fireworks!”

• Wonderful friendly staff, shuttle that takes you around 5 minutes, location, Starbucks.
• Internet was 10 dollars a day if you wanted it. But, you can use their office in the lobby for free internet.

“The hotel is older, but clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally nice and eager to make our stay comfortable. They even called the room to see if everything was acceptable. The food in the dining room was good, we had the breakfast buffet. They had Starbucks coffee and the fruit was fresh.”

• Loved the granite shower.
• They kept charging me for little things.

“I paid $6.00 to make a toll free call and $10.00 to receive a package with two books in it from FedEx and $10.00 to use the internet. This is not what I expected from a hotel of this quality. The staff was friendly but kept charging me for thing I expected to be part of the stay. I didn't use the pool because it didn't look attractive and clean. Several of the access doors weren't maintained and the equipment in the gym were dirty and worn out. The rooms were great and the staff really worked hard.”

• I liked the size of the room, and the view.
• I didn't like the fact the room didn't have a refrigerator, and the ice machine on the floor I stayed was broken.

• The room was decorated well and comfortable.
• The hotel did not handle an inappropriate wild party well.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable but, a wild party broke out, and the hotel was extremely loud from 2:30
am until 5:00 am. The police were called but things were not handle in a timely manner. We spent far too much on a hotel when we got almost no sleep and had to be in a meeting all day the next day that was being held in the same hotel.”

• Friendly staff. We landed at 2:00 am and were greeted with smile and also were alloted preferred rooms.
• None.

“Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Restrooms were compact though. Overall a good place to stay when you are out vacationing or on business. Plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.”

• It was clean and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
• I called the property to get directions and was hung up on 10 times never got through. Floor plan layout was confusing.

“ Very nice and clean property. Well appointed rooms. Good location off Interstate. Was short staffed the night I spent. There were a lot of soccer families staying and they were loud and out of control. ”

• I enjoyed the good front desk service.
• I did not care for the location, it was hard to find at first.

“Great place, the room was non-smoking but had a faint smoke smell, otherwise fantastic place. It has both an indoor and outdoor pool, but no hot tub. Also I did not use the pool, as it was enclosed with all windows, making it quite open for everyone to watch which makes me uncomfortable. Overall a great simple stay.”

“Please stay away from it. GPS could not find hotel location. Room was dirty
you can say no one stayed in the room for months. Room supply were expired. They have basement rooms! No microwave or fridge in room

hotel did not even care about it!”

“This was a great hotel, convenient to I-95 and very comfortable. Rooms have beautiful appointments, even a 1-cup star bucks coffee maker! Beautiful, comfortable beds.”

• It was clean, staff was wonderful and

“The hotel was wonderful the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable the shower and bathroom always had soap and ample towels, if I needed anything the staff was happy to help. If I could stay at a Sheraton every time I would.”

• The Beds in the room and the rooms themselves were very nice.
• At night it is very hard to find the hotel off of the interstate.

“We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel but once we arrived there check in was very quick and we loved the room we were in very upscale. Check out again was very easy.”

• Location and the fact that there was a restaurant and bar on site.
• The last couple of times we have been to this hotel our room has been quite dirty.

is very friendly and accommodating of the guests. We have always had a good experience and meal in the restaurant. They definitely need serious work in the housekeeping department.”

“This is the worst hotel I have stayed in years. Fire alarms in the morning, dirty and smelly rooms, incompetent employees, outdated. Non-Smoking room that smelled like smoke.”

• The location was convenient.
• Everything about this hotel was negative!

“The carpet was filthy, we could not walk barefoot. It had huge stains or who knows what origin. The picture on the wall was missing but there were lovely huge brackets protruding where it should have been. The bathroom floor was so sticky that our shoes stuck on impact, my hot shower was cold, and when I looked up in the shower, to my horror, there was hair on the wall not belonging to me. The staff was not friendly or in any way accommodating. The only reason we did not check out and go to the neighboring hotel is because we had our small dog and a pet-friendly hotel is not easily found. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In my opinion, it ranks right up there with a Motel 6. I will be complaining to the General Manager today. Our weekly trips to Richmond will be spent at the new Marriott in the future and the puppy will go to a daycare.”

• Truly impressed with the size of the room and the bed was extremely comfortable.
• The floor design was quite confusing.

• Close location to quality eateries and 2 interstate highways: 64 & 95.
• Structure/layout rooms too far from main lobby; internal stairways.

“This property assigned a solo female traveler to the murder room (last room at the end of a long hallway, in the farthest building from the lobby - Building E - 3rd Floor, right at the exit door). When challenged about this unacceptable placement, the desk manager on duty at 3 am ET disputed the location of the room in one breath, while later explaining refrigerators in those rooms because of the long distance walk from the main lobby. That manager also claimed not to have made the assignment himself and suggested I state a room preference when staying at that property in the future. It should be common sense not to assign such rooms when alternatives are clearly available. If the guest should not have to pre-advise a preference not to be stuck out of sight in a potentially dangerous location in the hotel. In addition, when questioned about moving the refrigerator from the murder room to my new assignment on the second floor of the main building, around the corner from the elevator, the same desk manager informed me the unit could not be moved because the rooms in that wing were so far away from the main lobby/restaurant. When asked about availability of another refrigerator, I was later informed the 2 units in housekeeping were broken and that he did not have a key to the storage closet to check for more units. Someone was supposed to call my room in the AM after housekeeping arrived to inquire whether the frig was still desired. No one contacted me about a refrigerator for the remainder of my 4 day stay.”

• I liked that a concierge called to ask if I was satisfied with the room.
• I didn't like that I could hear the AC rattling.

“This was a suitable hotel. I had a room with a king sized bed and the mattress was heavenly. I used the workout room and it had some basic equipment in there. Overall, I had a nice experience.”

• Hallway carpets could be cleaner. Needs some minor updating.

• The facilities are spread out and many buildings.

“We spent the night on our way to another destination. We loved our room for the price. The bed was extremely comfortable. Even the chairs were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great and included some unique items. The hotel is spread out, but very well marked and easy to navigate. Nice place and will stay there again.”

“I was expecting a low quality hotel but the hotel was actually very nice. The staff was helpful and the room was very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable (feather mattress toppers) which is the most important thing for me. Our room smelled like smoke but I did not ask for them to move us. They were very apologetic when I mentioned in during checkout. There was a noisy convention going on while we were there but we could not hear it at all from our room.”

• The landscaping was well kept and pool was well situated.
• Internet was not complimentary in room or lobby, had to pay daily fee.

“Clean, good location, and great customer service provided by staff. Unfortunately, hotel nickel and dimes you for internet service and phone calls. Business center only had two computers available for free access to internet. Two computers is too few for this size hotel.”

• We had a large room with the bed type we requested, and facilities were well-kept.
• Our room did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival or during our stay.

“The hotel staff were friendly and were helpful when we needed directions, etc. The only downside was finding random pieces of trash in our room when we arrived, and new trash in our room after it had been cleaned. Kind of weird, but generally speaking my boyfriend and I always prefer to stay at hotel!”
