• Nice staff, clean room.
• No shampoo, charge for Internet access, no breakfast.

“Well kept, clean and fresh with a nice friendly staff. Room was small with a lot of space devoted to a kitchen, which would be handy if you needed one. Don't think it had a pool, no free continental breakfast and Internet access had a charge. I would gladly stay again.”

• The quality, environment, the location were a lot better than expected.
• There was absolutely nothing that I experience that was in a negative content.

• Friendly staff and very clean accommodations at a decent price.
• No complimentary toothbrushes, razors, lotion, shampoo, etc.

“Decent hotel, clean, friendly staff. Convenient location, in the middle of a well developed area so there's plenty of shopping and restaurants close by.”

• Plenty of parking for a small car, but not for a pickup truck.
• Too far from down town, the staff was inconvenienced by my arrival and the room was not very clean.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For 145.00 a night, I feel I was "taken", but if that was all that was available it was better than sleeping at a rest stop. The staff was too busy with their personal affairs to reply to questions I asked. The room was dirty and I asked for a bottle of shampoo that caused my scalp to break out. I have never had that happen at any other hotel stay.”

• Very accommodating. I called and asked for an early check in--no problem. The hotel exceeded all my expectations.
• I found nothing to that offended me.

• Except for location with regards to our travel, it was fantastic.
• Nothing.

“Since we were traveling I95 and this hotel was approximately 8 miles off our path, it left location as a desire for us. Other than that, the hotel was unbeatable.”

• The Hotel was built for business. I was impressed by the built in desktop workstation and the wireless access that allowed me to work uninterrupted.

“To sum it all up, I enjoyed this hotel thoroughly. Not only will I recommend it to business partners but I will be returning when I have to come back to the Richmond area.”

• Spacious rooms with full size refrigerators and kitchens..
• Some of the furniture was worn through and stained and the extra bedding was stuffed under the bathroom sink.

• The location was very good. The grounds were very well kept and the staff was helpful.
• The rooms especially the carpet was dirty. The maids did not do a thorough job when cleaning.

• Not clean, room was not comfortable, accomodations were not as expected

“This hotel was awful. Upon arrival the room they tried to put us in was a queen. We had called ahead to make sure there would be 2 beds. They then moved us to a king that had never been cleaned. She then moved us to a queen room with a roll away and it was a smoking room. It smelled so badly that we could hardly breathe. Finally she moved us to another queen where my husband and I had to share the bed w/ our 5 year old and our 12 yr. old ended up on a very bad roll away. We will not stay at a Homestead again.”

• Hotel needs a major remodeling...a/c wasn't adaquate...

“If you are looking for a place to lay down your head for a night - this hotel is fine...if you need a vacation spot - a place near the "happenings" of Richmond - or are looking for a high quality property - you can do better...the staff was quite attentive -”

• I was able to get a kingsize bed in a nonsmoking room.
• My neighbor was a bit noisy, but the staff quieted that person down fast.

• I liked the fact that it had a kitchen
• It was located in a high crime area, very unsafe........

“During my 8 day stay my room was not freshened up once. I found that to be a wee bit disconcerting. About 5 mins from the hotel a man went ballistic with a gun. Very scary, he kidnapped someone, stole 2 vehicles and robbed the McDonald's and burger king. Very bad location.”

• This not really a bad thing. so many people were at the hotel I had to park farther away than I liked

• Even though we did not use it extensively, the kitchen area.
• The clerk at the desk double charged our card.

“It's an extended stay hotel. So usually people use it for more than 2 nights. We stayed for just 2 nights. The hotel is off Midlothian Parkway so there's every kind of food and shopping nearby. The room had 2 queen beds, it was clean comfortable and the full kitchen area with fridge was wonderful. We have 2 small kids so we were able to keep drinks and food cold .”

• The staff was very friendly

“This hotel is an extended stay hotel. First I was put in a smoking room and had to carry everything back downstairs to get the key to another non smoking room on another floor. Being an extended stay they only come in every third day to clean the rooms so needless to say I didn't get my bed made or clean towels the two nights I was there. There was only one trash can and that was under the sink. ”
