“The hotel met all of our expectations.
May 11, 2006 by
Chris from Virginia Beach, VA
“The carpets were terribly stained and the furniture was dented, scratched and old. A pungent odor that can only be described as the mix of mold and cigar smoke permeated the entire hotel. I was afraid to get in the bed, so I didn't. We checked out immediately and moved to the Doubletree. ” Oct 19, 2005 by
Laurie from Fredonia, NY
“If you are looking for a clean place to sleep and shower and don't need any of the extras, like a pool, fitness room, restaurant, this is it.” Oct 12, 2005 by
Laurens from Arlington, VA
“For one star, I expected basic but clean. Definitely was basic, but hotel looked ratty and worn, suffering from neglect. Room itself ok, but fluorescent light not working and stank from smoke despite being a non-smoking room. Staff was friendly enough. Parking and location ideal, plus hotel right next door to mall and restaurants. END.” Sep 21, 2005 by
Holly from Williamsville, NY
“The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the location was very convenient for me. It is close to the expressway.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Carolyn from Lexington, MA
“We were placed in a smokers' room with a pullout bed that had used sheets on it -- yuk!” Jul 7, 2005 by
Donald from Watertown, NY
“Although the location is ideal when visiting the Henrietta/Brighton area of Rochester, the staff is indifferent in regard to helping guests. The bathroom was extremely small (with the mirror and sink in the main room, not in the bathroom) and the appliances were old and in disrepair. In general, the hotel did not feel very clean, either. Okay for a one night business trip or to check out colleges, but not if you're looking for a well-kept hotel while on vacation or on an extended stay.” May 4, 2005 by
Winston from Norfolk, VA
“This hotel is in a good location and provides basic guest services. The carpets should be vacuumed after each guest departure, if not daily. the price points through your service were very good.” May 3, 2005 by
Winston from Chesapeake, VA
“Perfect location friendly staff smoking was the room we had requested nonsmoking.” Apr 23, 2005 by
Doug from Dallas, TX
“Generally very good but significant charges for phone and internet use.” Apr 14, 2005 by
Mike from Des Moines, IA
“Good basic hotel. Not fancy but well-kept. Price included continental breakfast, a bonus. Only one elevator which could be a problem for upper floors. Convenient to freeway and major streets. Exactly what we were interested in getting and we were quite satisfied with the result.” Feb 23, 2005 by
Yuanbo from Greenville, SC
“Free parking and breakfast. Excellent.” Jan 10, 2005 by
Phil from Cheektowaga, NY
“Other than the faulty shower head, the hotel was exceptional for the cost. Free breakfast, nice view, convenient location. I would stay here again.” Dec 15, 2004 by
Jeffrey B. from Youngstown “Hotel was nice. Small room, but it did the job. Very happy about the price paid. Saved about 75% of the room cost. It had the smallest elevator I have ever seen.” Sep 23, 2004 by
Jonathan B. from Acton “Perfect location for what we needed. Front desk staff was most helpful.” Sep 7, 2004 by
Paul B. from Canton “Excellent service, provided a complimentary breakfast, room was quiet, neat & clean. Bed was very comfortable.” Sep 7, 2004 by
Melvin W. from Germantown “The hotel was fine, it had a decent bed, TV, phone, internet access, plus a small refrigerator and a microwave which was very convenient for the price of the room.” Hotel Representatives:
