• Wednesday cookout reception.
• Too hot, very crowded.

“Staff was great, breakfast was good, room was clean. The pool and hot tub were a little overloaded and could have been cleaned more often. The room ac wasn't quite adequate.”

• Spacious rooms, firm mattresses (not those awful pillow-tops you can drown in), clean, free wireless.
• Night clerk was less than friendly.

• Comfort of bed and size of room.
• Lobby was very small.

“Rooms had a horrible smell like mildew and old mold. Desk clerk gave me some spray that smelled like Clorox to get rid of the odor. It did not work. I went to K-Mart and got some Febreeze to try and get rid of the smell since I could not get my money back. Did not experience breakfast. Fire alarm went off at 5:30 am and continued to ring for at least an hour. Did not get much sleep.”

• AC's smelled like mildew. Changed room with same results.

“It is a typical Fairfield Inn. Very nice, clean etc. But the price was too high for this type of hotel.”

• Fast, friendly check in with warm cookies available!
• Side and back doors weren't locked till after dark.

“This location has all of the quality you'd expect from this chain. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, great breakfast choices. No complaints!”

• The hot tub was great. The pool was nice; we had it all to ourselves.
• The headboard on our bed was loose & ended up falling off the wall.

“Overall, pleasantly surprised. Super friendly staff. Was helpful in finding a place for us to watch the college football game on that night.”

• The beds were very nice and lots of pillows, very nice stay.
• Cant think of anything.

“The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. I liked the free coffee and juice 24 hours a day. Also the cookies are a great idea. The breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel. Thanks again.”

• Spacious, clean rooms with extras: fridge, microwave.
• I booked two double beds and they gave us one king.

• The deluxe continental breakfast was very good.
• The air outside the hotel smelled strongly of manure, but after a rain shower, it dissipated.

• Shabby, worn and unclean.

“The property is in need of renovation. Can only turn one way exiting the hotel. Must then turnaround several hundred yards later to get back to on ramps for root 81.”

• Everyone had smiles from the manager to the clerks to members of housekeeping.
• The hot tub did not work.

“With the exception of the hot tub not working the night we stayed, this hotel was wonderful from the welcoming cookies at check-in to the truly deluxe breakfast. although chambers burg isn't particularly charming in its own right, this stop proved quite restful and relaxing.”

• There was flaked paint on the floor in the pool/hot tub room.

“I was pleasantly surprised! Check-in took less than 3 minutes, and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable - it had everything we needed. My son was happy to find the indoor pool and hot tub. Both were clean, but there was flaked paint on the floor in the pool room - it looked as if it had come from the tiles surrounding the room. Otherwise, the hotel exceeded our expectations.”

“This Fairfield is the typical two star hotel along an interstate highway. The staff was accommodating, we appreciated the exercise room (not all hotels in this class have one) and the free breakfast.”
