“Nice employees and clean and efficient.” Apr 22, 2008 by
Colleen from Amherst, NY
“The room was that smell musty, spiders running around in bathroom; my son opened his hockey bag to find them in there! Terrible!” Apr 14, 2008 by
Kenneth from Newport, PA
“This was a dive of a hotel. Can't believe Day's Inn would allow this franchise. Toilet paper holder was broken off wall, bathroom floor was very sticky, and room stunk; everything in the room felt "sticky". Old kitchen sink with sprayer hole open in common counter area of room. Toilet rocked on the floor. Nothing good about the room other than the beds were moderately comfortable.” Nov 17, 2007 by
Gregory from Liverpool, NY
“I am so disappointed with this room and the hotel. It is a souped up version of a mom and pop hotel in the 60's. There is nothing they can do to make it a "real worthy" days inn. The beds were terrible; the heating unit was on the wall, it was either too hot or too cold! And very loud. It was the worst night sleep my wife and I had had in a long time, and we have spent many a nights in hotels let alone a days inn. Save yourself the embarrassment and take this hotel off your sight, it was a very costly experience for us.” Oct 12, 2007 by
Tony from Preston Hollow, NY
“It was dirty, grungy looking, beer bottles by the front door as we entered the room. Just a nasty place. Sheets were clean. Room very small. Frankly, it was overpriced. I'm a former marine and Im not afraid of dirt, this place was just nasty.” Sep 29, 2007 by
Florence from Spring Hill, FL
“First room so small only one suitcase could be opened. Second room was a so called "suite" (with dirty rugs and furniture but the beds where new) and wanted extra money to stay in that room. Well no way and put in third room. Toilet not flushing and took two days to fix or move to another room. At no time was there any hot water for a shower. Not in the morning or in the evening.” Sep 11, 2007 by
Garrett from Wiliiston Park, NY
“A very good 3 star. Good price. Would stay again at the price I paid.” Aug 28, 2007 by
El from East Liverpool, OH
“All in all it was ok for our short stay. The free breakfast was great. The room could be a little cleaner.” Jul 8, 2007 by
Donna O. from Baldwin, ON CA
“A dump. It took us about an hour to clean the room. After all that we found some old food under the be infested with ants. Very nice to go to bed knowing a nest of ants are feasting on an old oatmeal cookie under the bed. Of course we had to clean that mess up before retiring. Certainly little help from the front desk.” May 17, 2007 by
Leonard from Brooklyn, NY
“Room 324 Damp musty room odor-no humidity relief from air-conditioner in which compressor would not kick in. Reports to polite staff yielded offer of replacement room(#319) which was no better and info that staff repair person off on Sundays. Very slow drain in room bath. Three of my calls to the front-desk from my room were taken by voice-mail. Not good - Cold. One or two of these calls returned. Complementary breakfast so-so. In-room coffee-maker located on table was no where near an electrical outlet. Though (I believe) this motel independently owned-operated, Days-Inn corporate needs to shore-up relationship with these people, and get them to come up to standards. Lots of decent competitively priced alternatives exist in Henrietta and thereabouts, i.e., Extended Stay. As it is, this conveniently located facility should not have Days-Inn name on it. I expected more from this nationally-known brand.” May 3, 2007 by
Michael from Berkshire, NY
“There was scorch marks on wall where there was a fire in an electrical outlet. There was a crack in shower surround patch with scotch tape and holes in walls patched with tissue paper. The first night there they forgot my wake-up call, and the next night called to see if I had one for the following day and I told them it was for the previous day. They never apologized or anything.” Mar 29, 2007 by
Kate from Deerfield, MA
“An economical and pleasant place to stay for a weekend excursion. The included breakfast was not great though.” Mar 27, 2007 by
Rasool from Bronx, NY
“The hotel needs to improve it's cleanness, bathroom.” Jan 10, 2007 by
Gregory from Rochester, NY
“I enjoyed my stay.” Jul 23, 2006 by
Mingchan H. from West Hartford, CT
“The bad Room smell( make me sick, so I bough a Lysol to spray floor, AC filter....,leave room for 3hrs,then smell became OK). Suggestion: Clean and spray disinfectant to the floor and AC filter will upgrade the room quality.” Jul 22, 2006 by
Paul from Klamath Falls, OR
“Great value for the location, friendly service people.” May 3, 2006 by
Susan from Renton, WA
“Reservation confirmed few days before arrival for room with 2 double beds, non-smoking. When arrived, was told that since reservation was made online, the room was not guaranteed, and only room available was a single double bed in smoking room. Next morning moved into available room with double bed, non-smoking. Continental breakfast was good. Location to RIT and airport was convenient.” Feb 22, 2006 by
Wunder from Rochester, NY
“N/A” Feb 21, 2006 by
Janet from Minoa, NY
“Not the best I stayed in and not the worst. The location was not really convenient to where we were visiting. Light out in front of room. Could have stayed somewhere more convenient and nicer for just a few dollars more.” Feb 21, 2006 by
Scott from Fulton, NY
“Older hotel, very run down. Right next to a truck stop. Rooms were grungy and felt almost dirty. The other hotels in the area were much nicer as far as overall appeal. Worst hotel we have ever got. Should not be rated with 2 stars. It is really a long haul truckers type of place.” Feb 15, 2006 by
Ben from York, PA
“We got what we paid for. Service was good, room was ok--beds are hard, which didn't bother me, bathroom smelled terrible, like smoke. Breakfast was great.” Feb 14, 2006 by
M from Pittsfield, MA
“Besides things falling apart in the bathroom the grime and graffiti on the door dated two years ago gives you an idea of the lack of attention to keeping up a nice clean place to stay.”
