• I felt safe.
• The bed and pillows, too soft and feather pillow allergy.

“Nice employees, food was cold for breakfast, very "vending" machine like, not enough room for all to be seated. The bed was too soft, and why have feather pillows, too many people with allergies to them like me!”

• Exercise room only had cardio equip no weights.

“New type hotel with great location just off major highway and close proximity to shopping and local colleges. Perfect for business traveler or parents visiting students at several local colleges.”

• The rooms were very clean and spacious.
• It was very easy to hear noise from the next rooms and hallway.

“This hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was very good with a nice variety of food. The only downside was the amount of noise that easily traveled from the hall and other rooms. My 63 year old parents received a phone call that someone complained that they were too loud in the morning. The best example of good service was when the hotel staff went out of their way to send my handicap brother his supply bag that he left behind. In less than 24 hours!”

• Very comfortable bed, free breakfast.
• No fridge in room, poor water pressure in shower.

“The hotel is fine. Would have liked something a little farther north. It does not compare well to another area hotel from the same star rating, the Doubletree, which we stayed in on a previous trip at a lower rate, so it was disappointing from that standpoint. All in all, it was a just ok.”

• Clean and easy.
• Breakfast wasn't great.

“The hotel is very clean and well maintained. All but a very few staff members went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The only negative was the breakfast could have been better and the area it's served in needs to be expanded. Otherwise I have no complaints. Would stay there again!”

• Attractive, friendly lobby area, nice breakfast, clean.
• I assume by description that my room would have a microwave and small refrigerator.

“Hotel was very nice and attractive the only problem was parents that didn't speak to their children in the pool area and let them get others wet and run wild. Otherwise decor of room was very nice and attractive.”

• Large room, very friendly and accommodating staff.
• Industrial location, no restaurants near non-smoking room smelled like smoke.

“Definitely a one night stay kind of place with no restaurants or other amenities in the area open for a late arrival. Very friendly staff. Good sized rooms. Very clean. Would recommend for a business traveler that needs to be located in this area.”

• Carpets and the bathroom fixtures were clean.
• Washcloths were stained; "No Room Party" rule not enforced.

“Our first night was pleasant enough. The bedding was clean. The carpet was clean and possibly had a brand new underpaid, making it comfortable to do my Pilates exercises. Breakfast was hearty, varied, and at least edible, although the line of kids fooling with the microwave needed to heat up the sausage and eggs was annoying. The second night was very bad. There were numerous families who had gathered to have a night of New Year's Eve partying, which involved dozens of screaming children and adults running through the hallways, banging on doors, rattling the door adjoining our rooms and being a general nuisance. While the hotel staff was apologetic and offered to move us to another room, there was nowhere in the small hotel to move to that was free of noise. The hotel clearly states a "no room party" policy and says it will warn noisy guests twice and then evict them from the hotel. This policy was not enforced.”

• The location was excellent.
• We ended up in a smoking room despite our request to the hotel for non-smoking.

“Well situated near I-390 and I-90 - in 20 minutes you can travel to nearly everything in the area. Close to shopping and Downtown Rochester. Comfortable, no-frills hotel.”

• Decent hotel at a good price.
• Desk clerk couldn't switch us to a non-smoking room claimed computer wouldn't allow it.

“It's a generally nice hotel, with indoor access to all rooms. It's quiet and comfortable, rooms are adequate. Overall, a pleasant experience except for one thing: We were assigned a smoking room in which everything was permeated with the smell of burnt tobacco. Worse, when we tried to get a different room, we were told that. Apparently the computer wouldn't allow it.”

• Excellent pool facilities and hours. Above average breakfast.
• Upon arrival, I was initially assigned a smoking room, but this was changed.

• They allowed us to leave a car in their parking lot for an extra day.
• We were unable to get a late check out time.

“Overall, this is a terrific hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi were great. There's a cute porch out front with rocking chairs that I'd wished I'd had time to enjoy!”

• Were reluctant to confirm a non-smoking room despite plenty of availability.

“Was just right for the price. Clean and spacious. Not fancy, but I didn't expect fancy. Adequate amenities. I was very satisfied. I was booked into a smoking room automatically and the hotel wouldn't confirm a non-smoking room until I got there despite plenty of availability.”

• Complimentary breakfast; coffee was good and self-made pancakes are a nice feature.
• Pillow uncomfortable; disruptive noises from second floor; breakfast area is too small for number of diners.

• The hotel staff was exceptionally accommodating, breakfast was good.
• Pool was not working, I called a week in advance and they did not tell me that it would not be fixed for entire season!

“I called the hotel directly to verify that the amenities I needed would be available. (Pool, breakfast, coffeemaker in room) The person I spoke with on the phone told me the pool was being worked on but was not forthcoming about the nature of the repairs. She did not tell me that the pool would not be repaired in time for my stay. With the Empire State Games in Rochester I was unable to find another hotel and my children were very disappointed. The rate was too high for the amenities offered!”

• Large rooms, quiet, clean.
• I do like a full service restaurant and bar.

“Over all my experience was very positive. Staff were there but out of sight for the most part. I enjoyed an uninterrupted nights sleep. Grounds, building and rooms very clean and pleasing. There were no negative surprises. It was rated 2.5 stars and one might add a plus to that. I received a call from desk after a decent interval after checking in to be sure I was satisfied.”
