• Perfect for a weekend getaway at the beach.

“Residence Inn Landfall is very relaxing place to stay. There's very little street noise, if any and it's conveniently located between Wrightsville Beach and plenty shopping and eating establishments. It's the perfect combination of upscale convenience and down-home comforts. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. If you want the "upscale" feel without the "upscale stress" Residence Inn Landfall is the place to stay in Wilmington, NC.”

• I liked the location, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the food. The menu selection was great too.
• I didn't like the closet space: shelves were too short to hang dresses or suits; attendant did not fill salt and pepper shakers when servicing the room.

“Overall, our stay was excellent! I will certainly choose Residence Inn in my future travels, regardless of location. It felt like home away from home and again, the cleanliness won us over.”

• Clean, helpful, breakfast & dinner provided.

“The staff was friendly & willing to help. The breakfast was great. The dinner was something different to choose from nightly. The extra activities on the calendar helped you to enjoy the local area. Conveniently located for beach & shopping. Highly recommended.”

• Great hot breakfast.
• We were put on the third floor with small children, they disturbed the people below. Floors not very forgiving of sound.

“Great hotel for the price, great breakfast. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others. Good safe location also.”

• The overall attitude of employees was great.
• Check out time to early.

“We loved this hotel because they accepted pets and the facility was spotless. Free breakfast was served every morning and cocktails in the evening. A very pleasant experience overall.”

• We were unexpectedly pleased that the hotel offered a light supper on week days.
• Noise traveled through the walls some with children.

“We were very pleased with the excellent customer service, pleasant surroundings, and complimentary breakfast and, on Monday-Thursday, complimentary reception and light supper. While not on the beach, it was conveniently located for the beach and for shopping.”

• A good breakfast was included in the price.
• Some receptionists were very unfriendly and bothered by every request one had.

“Overall the hotel was very nice friendly staff, however if there is a short, little heavier lady at the front desk check in some other time.”

• Great staff, very accommodating.
• Only one garbage and it was not emptied, coffee pot was not cleaned and had filter in it still.

“It was a beautiful hotel, almost perfect for our stay more "family friendly" than romantic we wanted romantic great location for our needs, wonderful staff, morning breakfast could have been better.”

• Wonderful breakfast was included in stay.
• Not as close to downtown as would like, but worked out to be close to the beach!

“This is a wonderful hotel. Friendly staff, clean, nice large rooms. Hot breakfast included with stay, which would cost at least $8+ anywhere else. Great place to stay!”

• Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• Sleeper sofa was not made up.

“The hotel and the staff were very nice. I was hoping for 2 beds but was given 1 bed and a sleeper sofa. We had a full kitchen and the room was spotless. I would stay there again.”

• Didn't have toothbrushes. I'd forgotten mine.

“The Residence Inn Landfall met or exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Lots of nice extras like fresh fruit at the check-in counter and a better-than-average hot-and-cold breakfast selection. The hotel is an easy drive to Wrightsville Beach. It's a bit farther into the historic Wilmington District, but that's something that anyone booking a room there could easily be aware of.”

• The hot breakfast was convenient and tasty. It also saved us two dining bills.

“The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and was 100% non-smoking. Also, all the hotel rooms were suites with full kitchens. There was also a laundry facility which is important when you are at the beach. The hotel was also minutes from the beach and in a great location with new shopping and restaurants.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area was outstanding.
• The hotel allows pets; although, I think only on the first floor.

“As long as their policy is to allow pets on the first floor only, I will definitely stay there again. The general manager allowed us to stay an extra night (Friday) for a slightly higher price due to a cancellation. The rooms, common area, grounds, and pool area were all top notch. The location is great; 5 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to downtown Wilmington.”

“I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. The room is a nice size with a great pool, tennis court & basketball court for our children. It's in a great location for easy dining at some good eating places. Staffs are friendly.”

• Hotel staff was great, friendly, and very helpful.
• Called for extra towels and 30 minutes later I had to go to the front desk to pick up myself.

• The breakfast included with the room.
• The garbage disposal broke and it stunk up the room.

“The hotel was fine for what it was - a 2 1/2 star room with a pull out couch for another bed - it was clean and the breakfast buffet is included.”
