• Staff were sweet and helpful.
• Cost is pricey for the area and facility.

“Two story building in industrial area close to airport. Minor room updates and very pleasant staff made it acceptable but for a few dollars more you can stay at a much fancier hotel near beach or even downtown.”

• I liked the location and the price. Very clean and comfortable.

“I would recommend this hotel. I received a great price on Priceline and was upgraded. I wasn't that far from the beach. The hotel was nice and quite. I will use Priceline again.”

• The staff was very friendly. Plenty of info for people visiting for the first time.
• Was surprised no
  refrigerator in the rooms. This is the Courtyard.

“My husband & I first time in Wilmington. The staff was very helpful as far as questions and directions everywhere. They have a station that prints out directions to almost any place in Wilmington. Only disappointment is there are no refrigerator in the room. While getting ice 2 other guest complain about the same thing. Otherwise the room was nice and clean.”

“This hotel met if not exceeded my expectations. I was on Spring break with my sister and a friend and we enjoyed the hotel! The only downfall would be there was no continental breakfast (it had a breakfast buffet that you had to pay for and it seemed a bit pricey); however, there is a super Walmart right across the street and you can get donuts or cereal,or there are several restaurants near by. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel again!”

• I liked that the hotel was totally a smoke free hotel.

“Very satisfied with the hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I did not like that there was no free breakfast. The public areas were kept clean also. I would stay here again when traveling without my dogs.

“I have stayed at many hotels in Wilmington. This is the first hotel that was worth the price. It was convenient to campus, restaurants, well staffed and great atmosphere.”

• Nice, clean, and very accessible. Friendly and courteous staff and a secure location.

“The staff was prompt and courteous. The location is ideal for visiting Wilmington as it is right off the main highway. The Courtyard is near many areas of interest such as the beach, malls, and the college. Downtown is but a short drive away. Also, there are many convenient restaurants and fast food establishments.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• The room seemed run down, and not well taken care.

“My room was acceptable, but the toilet did not flush properly, there were no buttons on the phone, and there was no complementary breakfast. I felt as if I was given a sub standard room.”

• We loved the blackout curtains. The pool/hot tub area was very nice. It's in the internal courtyard and is well landscaped.
• We didn't eat the breakfast buffet. I felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality of food. But it's nice that they offer it.

“It is located in an area which is very near to a Wal-Mart, Cracker Barrel, Carrabas, etc, but yet you are not crowded up against them. There is easy access off of I-40. It is only a 5-10 minute drive, considering traffic, to the historic Downtown area.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, their attitude was exceptional.
• The pool did not seem to be clear enough, perhaps the rain affected it.

“The bed was terrific, my multiple pillows were just like home. The decor was appealing. The AC worked great. I loved my stay at this hotel.”

“This hotel has a pleasant pool space with outdoor hot tub and large HDTV in the rooms; however, breakfast will set you back $10 per person. And if you want a clean-smelling room, this is not the place.”

“The hotel bed was nice and comfy but the room looked dated except for the flat screen TV. Bathroom/shower etc looked dingy and fixtures were dated. No refrigerator. I did like the movie selection - tons of new releases.”

• First floor slider door does not feel secure.

“Room was alright, a slight hint of past smokers in the room even though the hotel is smoke free. The first floor room had a sliding door to the parking lot but did not have a security bar, only a small lock that did not seem to secure.”

• Called the hotel to request room preference, was told by clerk would be upgraded to Jacuzzi room, upon arriving was not upgraded.

• Very convenient to many types of restaurants & right behind Wal-mart.
• On-site restaurant should be full service all day, instead of breakfast only.

“My sister and I came here for a girl's weekend, and had a fabulous time. It is centrally located, close to many restaurants, great shopping: Wal-mart, Target, and Mayfair Town Center. The hotel staff was mostly friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was very quiet. There were two computer stations available for use, which came in handy for directions, etc. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and the hostess was quite pleasant. Overall it was a wonderful experience!”

• Wireless service to slow for some applications. Needs updating.

“The staff is friendly and will try to help if they can. The hotel only has breakfast on site but is within walking distance of several options for dinner and lunch. The lobby could use an update. The wireless service is fine for mail but lags too much with complex applications and gaming. A small fridge in the room would be nice for those left over carried back. The vanity area is a bit cramped but over all an excellent stay!”

• The room came with the comfiest king bed and a sweet flat panel TV!
• We were on the ground level, so our patio door led right to the parking lot.

“This hotel exceeded all of my girlfriend and mines expectations. It was cleaned excessively. The staff was nice, friendly, and willing to help you find a restaurant, good spot on the beach, and bar to get hammered in. As well as the comfy beds, sweet TV, and fast WiFi internet. We are moving to Wilmington and needed a home base as we looked for a house, but if we ever need a good spot in town or to put friends up this will be it. No question about that!”
