• Waterfront. Nice walkway on river.
• No pool too far a walk to down town food parking very poorly thought out, must share with school.

“Nice room, nice view, long walk to food. No pool. All in all not a good value for price.”

• The room was much nicer than I thought it would be.

“We only stayed 1 night, but the breakfast is only delivered to the room (which was really nice). Also the bathroom had a walk in shower instead of a bath. It was much more upscale than the average Best Western!”

• No pool that I could see.

“My friend and I were delighted with the reception we experienced, as well as the pleasant room--recently refurbished. Our one-night stay was peacefully uneventful.”

• View, location, and continental breakfast served to your door.
• The bathroom is small and is not made for people taller than 5'7".

“The hotel is overall okay. The bathroom was small and the shower head was only made for people shorter than six feet. The shower head is not adjustable and it was very uncomfortable taking a shower. However, the continental breakfast served to your door at a time you choose and the view was impressive. The room was not equipped with a microwave or refrigerator. Plenty of compartment space for clothes. Flat screen television was awesome. The bed and bedding are really soft.”

• No Pool or anything.

“When I asked the staff where the pool is and they said they did not have one. This hotel is away from everything. It is not on the River walk. Very overpriced for the location and rooms quality. This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in at a 2 star hotel.”

• Breakfast to the room was wonderful and top quality. Nice surprise service.
• Water pressure was awful. Shower totally turned off every 4 to 5 minutes.

“Lovely view of river and battleship north Carolina. Quiet end of the street. Park inking hopefully will improve once construction is complete. Pleasant historical inn feeling to the facility.”

• They began construction work in the next door room at 7am.

“Terrible experience: I was awoken at 7am after my first night at the hotel by construction workers literally outside my door cutting bathroom tile. I called the front desk and I was told they would be working every morning at 8am - even though it was only 7am. I thought I was on TV the situation was so ridiculous and poorly handled by the hotel staff. I checked out that morning after they told me to deal with it. Stay away from this hotel to avoid a bad experience.”

“Very pleased overall, no dining available but lots around it within 1 mile, construction going on but it wasn't too loud, room was good and breakfast delivered to your door was cute, I would stay again for the price.”
