• Excellent beds, linens, bathrooms, decor. Love the new look. Applaud their efforts to be green with guest options on linens, towels.
• Room was by elevator with tiled floor which made it loud as rude folks got off the elevator during the night.

“Raleigh's Hilton North is an excellent stay. The new look is sophisticated comfort, and the new beds and high-quality linens make for excellent resting. Room service is tasty, well-presented and generous for the price. We will definitely return!”

• The room was spacious with great 42 inch flat screen TV. The bathroom was nice & the staff very friendly.
• No drawbacks during my stay.

• Ample, free parking.
• Star level didn't meet expectations, not located in downtown.

“Wanted to stay in downtown Raleigh so that I could walk around and visit museums and tourist attractions. Disappointed that the hotel was not located in the downtown area proper. It was a 7-10 minute drive to downtown. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Renovations have been made to the hotel.”

• Movie options on nice television and bed.
• Some things were missing from room service order and we were not getting any television channels, maybe because of the rain?

“The room was nice, appealing decor. The beds were pretty comfortable and the television was nice but it was raining and we were not able to get many channels at all. The food from room service was good but after it was left we realized there were a couple of things missing from our order. When we called they immediately brought those items to us. Overall, a pleasant stay.”

• The amount was accepted by the hotel yet when I arrived, they charged me another 10.00.

• The bed and bedding were very elegant and comfortable.

• Spacious, clean room, nice amenities, impressive fitness center, good food, professional staff.
• Only complaint: exterior is not impressive - I was nervous as I pulled up and parked. Was pleasantly surprised at the inside.

“While the exterior is misleading, once you get inside, this place is top-notch. I was checked in very promptly, and got to my clean, spacious room to find all the amenities I could hope for. After a trip to the fitness center, I was doubly impressed: a variety of cardio, cable weight, free weight and other accessories allowed me to have a full workout. Room service was prompt and delicious, and the staff was friendly and courteous. I will definitely stay here again any time I visit Raleigh and would recommend to anyone.”

• The room was very comfortable and internet was free.
• I have no complaints. I love to stay there.

“The staff is exceptional. I asked the front desk if I could email them a document to print out for me. She went out of her way to make sure I got it. Also I needed to freeze ice packs for my cooler (I am a rep and have a candle line) they went out of their way to place in staff freezer till I picked them up the next day. My favorite hotel in Raleigh.”

• Newly remodeled and very clean.
• No complaints!

“This is a for the Hyatt place hotel, beside the Hilton. The Hilton had over booked and sent us next door to this hotel. The room ended up being a suite and it was very nice. The staff was helpful, they had a nice complimentary continental breakfast and it was tastefully decorated. The room had been newly remodeled with a flat screen TV, a sectional couch and very comfortable beds. Most importantly, it was clean. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt place hotel and if back in Raleigh, I will stay there again. Also, it has a great restaurant, Bahamas Breeze, in front of the hotel so it is easy to walk and get a nice dinner.”

• The room was very nicely decorated - upscale touches such as a coffee cart.
• I think it's ridiculous that internet was $9.95 and that the business center didn't offer free internet.

“My first impression of the hotel was not that much - the grounds aren't that attractive and the lobby is sort of blah. The front desk staff was polite and friendly. Later on, I got lost returning from a concert venue and I called the hotel to assist me with directions (I guess I'm one of the few people without a navigation system in my car) and the guy I spoke to was very helpful. I got into my room and I was very impressed. The room just had some nice, upscale touches that set it apart from the standard hotel room. Right inside the door the room has dark, hardwood (Pergo) flooring. There is a coffee pot on a separate cart with all essential condiments. Entering the room, there was a huge desk/bureau combination in a shiny dark wood - lots of room for my laptop and other items. There were plenty of electrical outlets which are essential in these days of cell phone chargers, digital camera chargers, laptop battery chargers, etc. There was a flat screen TV - unfortunately there were no kid friendly channels. My kids are 15 and 10 and are still big fans of Disney and Nickelodeon and neither were on the TV line-up. The beds were comfortable. The alarm clock had an input for an MP3 player - nice touch. The bathroom wasn't big, but was nicely decorated - again with upscale touches not found in most hotels. The countertops were granite, the towels were in a little dark wood shelf unit, the hair dryer was in a drawstring canvas bag. Little touches that set the hotel apart from the 2/2.5 star type hotels. One downside was that the pool/spa area was being refurbished and when we checked it out the spa/hot tub was half empty and they were painting. I believe the pool was still open, but it just wasn't very attractive in there. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I enjoyed my overnight stay.”

• The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever!

“The hotel is conveniently located off a major highway, and is close to an excellent shopping mall. The facility itself is clean and well maintained, and the room was extremely comfortable. The restaurants were also very good.”

“My wife came up for a couple of days during my business trip to visit and while I was working she wanted to dip her feet in the beautiful Jacuzzi at the indoor swimming pool. This was a fantastic value and I will try to stay there again.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful.
• There was a leak in the ceiling of the pool area that was very noticeable due to rain.

“The guest service staff at this hotel was great! They even did some research and made some calls to find an authentic New York style Pizza joint that was open when we called them. They did the research then called us back when they had something helpful for us. The decor was nice and the beds VERY comfortable. The only cons I can really give were that there was a leak in the ceiling of the pool area that was noticeable because it was raining outside and that we couldn't get a smoking room, but even then, they placed us near the pool elevator which was near an exit door which made it easier for my fiance to take care of his needs. Overall, I'd stay there again and recommend it to friends and family if they were going to be in the area.”

• They upgraded me from a full-size to king size at no additional charge.
• Room did not cool/ AC set at 68 and outside temp 65.

“The hotel was beautiful and clean and convenient to my destination. It is an upper scale facility near restaurants, malls, sports arenas and hospitals. The staff was courteous and obliging and I will stay there again. I recommend the Hilton to everyone.”
