• It was average.

“Nice and normal Courtyard. If you expect to get decent internet access, stay away. The whirlpool is underwhelming and the pool is shallow. Plenty of decent food nearby so no need to eat the mediocre food available in the hotel.”

• Called ahead and asked for twin beds. Arrived and were given king beds.

“The hotel was very easy to get to off of I-440 (about 2 blocks away). My check in took all of about 2 minutes, and the front desk clerk was very friendly. I got to my room and it was not too hot or too cold, and the room was very clean and attractively decorated. I had read a couple reviews that complained of the bed being too hard or too soft, but mine was just fine. I usually awaken during the night several times when I am in a different bed, but I slept quite soundly. I had a very pleasant experience, and would definitely stay again.”

• Liked the Fire Place room and Lobby area. Clean smell.
• Can't really think of any thing.

“There were five of us in two cars and we were kept together, nice parking area, lovely lobby and even thought we did not eat there it seemed that those who were eating were enjoying their surroundings. The computers and room hook ups were nice.”

• 2 queen size beds, lots of pillows, nice bathroom area.
• $9.99 breakfast buffet, no fridge, no elevator close to rooms if there was one at all.

“Rooms are inside the building. Two queen size beds with no bedspreads, just a decorative throw, which was great since we always remove the bedspread anyway. Quiet room. No elevator close to room if there was one at all. Breakfast buffet was $9.99, so we ate elsewhere. No fridge in the room. It did have a coffee maker. Bathroom was nicely situated.”

• Had to connect to the internet via Ethernet cable at desk, no wireless.

• Hotel meet my expectations. I would have preferred a King Bed however.

“Hotel was fine. The staff was friendly however, the drink machine did not take dollar bills and I could only get one soda. Had to go to lobby to purchase and second drink and the lady on duty made me wait more than 5 minutes while she finished typing. Then she simply said, that'll be $2.00 and took my money. She could have done that without making me wait so long. It was late and I wanted to get back to my room. I thought that was rude and inconsiderate of her and showed poor customer service.”

• Responded to special request for refrigerator very quickly and loved the fact that the entire hotel is smoke-free.
• The bed was not as comfortable as the ones experienced at other courtyards.

“It is wonderful to experience a smoke-free hotel throughout the facility, cookies in the afternoon is a nice treat and use of a public internet connected computer.”

• The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great.
• The dead bolt on our door did not work. Breakfast was somewhat pricey ($10.00/person).

“The courtyard north is conveniently located near the inner and outer belt-lines. The hotel is also located in a safe area with an ample choice of restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable.”

• First assigned room had vomit on bedspread and rug.

“The first room we were given had dried vomit on the bedspread, rug, and nightstand. The room was obviously not cleaned well, and it took the staff a while to find a different room for us, which was inconvenient because we had gotten in late at night. But after that, everything was great. They gave us a free breakfast buffet for the trouble, and I'm guessing that the experience was an anomaly, because it did seem like a nice hotel overall, despite our first impressions.”

• The beds were wonderful and the staff super friendly.
• It has no airport shuttle and is miles away from the airport. Taxi costs $40 one way.

• The wait staff was very attentive. I like the decor and the courtyard.
• When we stay at the Residence Inn in Atlanta our breakfast was free. We didn't know that breakfast at the Raleigh North Courtyard was 8.95 per person

“Over all the stay was good. It's just when we went down to eat breakfast there was no sign stating that the breakfast was $8.95 per person. When we told the cashier we thought it was free she became very condescending - so we paid and left the hotel.”

• Needs a bigger sign out front to let you know where the hotel is. Hotel is on a hill and sign hard to see from road coming from expressway.

• Decor was tasteful.
• My magnetic key did not work on the outside doors and late at night in the rain had to carry all bags around building.

“The decor was lovely with warm tasteful colors and accessories. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Despite the broken elevator and malfunctioning toilet and magnetic strip on key card unworkable, the staff were quick and smoothed over potentially rough situations. We would certainly stay again. The hotel provided a quiet and attractive and friendly over night.”

“Overall, I've had great experiences. This wasn't one of those, and I'm not a terribly fussy person.During my 2-day stay:..The elevator wasn't working when I checked in with my luggage (and other guests said this happened before.)...Despite me being out of my guest room from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 pm on Saturday, there was no maid service. ...When I checked into the room, there was a dirty washcloth in the shower from a previous guest....They were so busy in each morning catering breakfast for a special group, there wasn't even the promised coffee in the lobby for guests not part of the large group....When I asked to extend my stay by one night at the hotel to finish some business in town (and I was willing to pay a higher rate), they not only wouldn't, but they offered no help in finding another hotel for me.”

• Very comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, great mattresses, hotel has been renovated, very nice.
• Problem with the onsite dryer, was broken, however staff put an extra $ 1.00 in machine for me

The hotel Has been remodeled recently, the rooms reflect a high profile with warm wood tones, a pull out desk under a desk made it very comfortable to do work at. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.”
